There isn't a way to make them use Text Bubbles.

The only viable way is to make them use an emote followed by speech, but it won't include their name, only their base pet name (I.E. Punk, Bruiser, Commando, etc)

Now when I said Thugs/Pain could out damage SS/SD I meant in ST damage. Shield offers an amazing amount of AoE, but should you pick up a patron Immobilize you could probably deal just as much so long as the arsonist spams his Fire AoE.

Thugs/Pain can steamroll literally anything.

You would most likely out damage a SS/SD, and does more than a Fire/Kin.

Use /petsay (and then your sentence)

Check out the Mastermind guides for a better look at pet control with binds, macros, and other abilities you can make your pets utilize.

MMs can effectively out-damage the other ATs with the right Secondary.

This may be overkill, but what about a battle of secondaries? i.e. A team of */darks, a team of */pain... etc.

Or how about this... I'm trying to think of a clever name for it... something involving "avatar." Basically, the ONLY pet you bring to battle is your tier 3. You can use secondaries with no restriction, but only the Oni, Assault Bot, whatever, fully upgraded. Anyone think this would be cool? Or does it give too much of an advantage to one type?

People bringing Poison with Bruisers and Onis will devastate the other Tier 3s simply because of Noxious Gas.

Let me clarify: This event will most likely happen in Warburg on the Test Center should enough people become interested, so levels 30-50 can join in.

I actually wanted to check and see if anyone in the Masterminding thread would be down for such an event in the coming future, and if so I'd the grounds to plain said event.

I teamed with you a couple times, Mrs. Osha, so I'll be missing the company and rather fun nature you provided.

But all in all I completely understand that you feel like you need to move on to a new game, and if Aion is the thing for you then stick with it until it gets screwed up or shut down I say!

These are just games after all, so no need for hostile loyalty

I doubt if it will get released soon.

The TF/SF is so shotty and non-cannon it's pathetic, so I won't expect a release soon unless the devs have stopped listening to proper Beta Testing input.

I think this would be very difficult as the pet AI is actually tied to the current stance of the MM. I can't remember very well, but I think there was a time where pets stayed alive after you died. It may have been in CoV beta, but I remember them being aggressive upon revival, even to you.


Still, without supremacy and proper innate slotting the pets wouldn't pose much of a threat on their own anyways.

The only AT capable of inducing an epic war with minimal players in a player limit zone, the Mastermind.

What I am about to propose will induce your computers with lag, stall frame rates and be incredibly epic all at the same time: A Mastermind War. Oh yes, I am serious, too. For a long time I'd been planning something like this, but first I wanted to run it by the Mastermind boards as a heads up for when I post an actual time, place, and rules in the Event Forum.

So, let me explain a little bit about what I mean by a Mastermind War in long form and short form below.

Long Form: A Mastermind War pits the AT against itself in a massive zone wide or Arena wide battle plain of almost epic proportions combining lag with un precedented death and destruction. There are many ways a Mastermind War can take place, one of which being scattered primaries. Scattered Primaries is basically any old MM showing up to the said War with any pirmary and secondary, then joining an 8 man team.

Then there is another way, which is Battle of the Primaries, in which 8-man teams of certain Primaries form together to win a battle for supremacy through either superior secondary control, or overwhelming power through teamwork. In such a Primary event there would be the follow: A Ninja team, a Thugs team, a Soldiers team, a Robotics team, and finally a Zombies team.

Then there's the ever loveable "Clash of the Pets", where Villains and spectators alike can take bets as hoards of pets battle in one massive mob to see who will become victorious. This can pit any number of primaries together, with the exception of thugs to a degree.


Short Form: Masterminds get together in several teams to enjoy large scale battles with varrying rules and situations.


Was just wondering who would be down, in the future, for such a said event, and if so which of the three forms of Mastermind Wars would you rather be involved in.

From what I checked out AVS and EBs got a 1.30x ACC innate increase.
