Well, finally decided to do it. My level 40 Zombies/Dark toon on the Ice Mistral SF solo (which was actually an entertaining time to be honest).
Below are some pics to show it happened.
The first couple of missions went off without a hitch!
Hunting Crystals for Ice Mistral results in floating CoT.
Well we trudged through most of what the SF could thorw at us and decided to give a good show before hitting up the last mission.
Gazing into the storm.
No one touch anything.
Getting ready to face down the room of pink death
There's the old man in the bath robe, time to beat him senseless!
Beginning of the very long, and very painful fight (mostly painful for me rather than gramps)
Good thing Fluffy can heal when I'm taking a snooze.
Looks like Gramps here needs some help.
FLAMING DEATH!!
Getting held sucks...
?
This feels more like a dancing lesson than a fight.
He's fallen and he can't get back up.
All in all it was a very tough fight with Archus. I learned very little too late he summons bosses with his demons (which I was not expecting from my last runs with the guy a while back), and that gave me a hell of a lot of trouble. I ALSO learned Archus apparently has Healing Flames, which made the fight against him last another hour before I FINALLY dealt enough DPS to get him down by 5,800. in 45 seconds.
Final Strike Force Time: 9:37:00 (Yes, I was very slow, but 4 hours of that was logged out down time for RL)
Errr....didn't have anything inspirational to say other than don't get bored -
I apologize for losing my cool. Been losing sleep lately because of Insomnia. Anyways you're right, other than the Regen and Damage the endurance boost does not matter on a Tier 3 pet.
BUT, there are cases where the endurance boost does help, especially when you IO out your Tier 3 Pet with the Soulbound set. -
Captain AWESOME
Decided to hit the randomzied button in the costume creator and it gave me a trenchcoat wearing commando smoke a cigar with bunny ears and boots.
Had to do it.
P.S.
It gave him the metallic skull head to boot. -

I've got a mission where Ghost Widow as a EB drops my level 41 corrupter every single time and I can't drop it. So I wouldn't say you can always solo content no matter what.
My current plan is to outlevel the mission and see about picking up a Shivan and a nuke and see how it goes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Shivan would be enough, no need to outlevel. -

There are more on test
[/ QUOTE ]
Other than the ones I've already tested. -
I find Detonator a power you can go both ways with. The Nuke damage is nice, and if you are great with endurance totally worth it.
Remember it takes the Boss pet for a good BOOM, but it's awesome when you're on a team. -
[ QUOTE ]
They won't take it now, but i15 on test changes that. Once that goes live you can slot it, so hang on to it until then.
[/ QUOTE ]
Will do, and thanks. -
So, decided to craft an Expidient Reinforcement 10% Resistance IO for my Zombies/Dark MM. Turns out, Fluffy won't take it. Is this or a bug, or just an MM prevention deal?
-
Strange....I regularly play without pants, but I play on Infinity...
-
Take Black Scorpion. Pick up The Patron Immobilize, the Shield and Power Boost.
Have a nice day. -
It was great, but guys...it needs more cowbell.
-
Well maybe this will give them a push in the direction of more MA customization options.
Plus I had no idea MSNBC would feature it
Interesting. -
I'd hate to say it, but good luck taking down the AVs. I'm giving it all I've got to bring you a heck of a challenge ^_-

There are some pets that need endurance reduction, like protector bots, and I've heard Enforcers, Oni and the Lich, but most pets don't need it. The ones that do generally only need about one SOs worth.
Of course if you're going for set IOs, you'll likely end up with some end redux by accident anyway.
[/ QUOTE ]
The Lich does not need endurance reduction, since it would be a waste for his slotting. -
[ QUOTE ]
Repair is a must have. It's a full heal for your robot. Don't skip repair.
Why would you be taking the attacks? The bots are your attacks. The only thing I can see taking is the photon grenade to stack stuns with your protector bots.
If you HAD to skip one more power from traps... skip the trip mine I guess...
[/ QUOTE ]
Trip Mine is skippable, and so is repair. The recharge is not worth it, as Aid Other does the job twice as well as repair.
Oh, and take Detonator for giggles. The Nuke damage on spawns is well worth it. -
It does help their endurance.
I would suggest min/maxing with sets such as Blood Mandate and Sovereign Right for the best mixture of accuracy, endurance, and damage. -
[ QUOTE ]
Someone suggested a Detonation then following up with a Soul Extraction (Necromancy)
Does that work?
[/ QUOTE ]
In fact it does. The Soul Extraction pet can do a REALLY good amount of damage if you slot it right, so it's worth sacrificing any one of your pets then using it. -
Poor man.
He had a bad start, but for a while there (the 80s of course) it looked like he was clearing up a bit, but unfortunately it went downhill. My heart goes out to the guy because the media literally bombarded him for his choices.
Well, Rest in Peace Miachel. -
FFG has a higher modifier.
Basically the FFG is a Defender's dispersion bubble whilst a Mastermind's Dispersion Bubble is slightly lower.
Mastermind Dispersion Bubble: 7.50%
FFG: 10% -
I still doubt that Ninjas are "the best" with Pain.
That's a very easy term to misuse and simply toss up in the air. Sure, Ninjas/Pain may be good for ST Melee, but other builds with Pain, such as bots, can deal a good amount of AoE damage. To simply say Ninjas/Pain is the best is going a little too far. -

hmm....... In Bloody Bay, you collected Shivan Shards. In Warburg, you collected missiles.
Are you going to take 1,000 pillboxes?
[/ QUOTE ]
There's a badge for taking 5,000. -

What is the advantage of Painbringer on any pet anymore? No more recharge bonuses. The end recovery is of miniscule help generally. So we are looking at the minor +damage. Not a good reason to justify the set.
I however went Thugs/Pain. It was the absolute easiest MM I have ever made. I steamrolled everything on the hardest difficulty starting in my teens. There was so very little to do or worry about. It is my recommended combo for beginners to the AT.
[/ QUOTE ]
Are you blind? The thing gives an AMAZING amount of regen when slotted correctly, and that damage bonus is very nice and stacks VERY well.
Look closely at it again
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, I am framilliar with what it does. Sure it does great regen and recovery, but honestly BOTH go to waste on assbot. Lemme explain. The recovery in negligable as my assbot rarely gets drained of end. And the regen, nice, but as it is, IM A PAIN DOMINATION MM. He's standing in my AE with every other pet. He's fully healed. So again, what am I doing right to keep my pets up and solo the hell outta crap without having to PB my top tier pet that you're not?
Or are you theorycrafting about PB off of the numbers you see that it can do to targets.
[/ QUOTE ]
Once again you failed to realize the extra damage, so -1 for you.
Second I never said you had to freakin put it on your pets. Hell if you're on a team give it to the brute, I'm sure he'll love it. Oh, and by the way, no, I don't just look at what Painbringer can do since I have several levels of Pain Domination experience. I KNOW what it can do when slotted correctly.
Take it or don't that's up to you, but I find it's very useful.
