And why would they drop /Pain and /Traps?

Sounds like Traps alone could've debuffed the Reichsman very easily, especially with Poison Trap and Seeker Drones, and not to mention the use of Acid Mortar combined with the Pain's Anguishing Cry.

Seems to me either A: They weren't built correctly or B: Didn't have a very good understanding/synergy of and with their powers.

Maybe they'll listen to beta testers for once. This IS utterly pathetic. Both of these Tasks are mediocre to say the least, and I'm not even mentioning the horrible canon issues with them. Once again they fail to listen.

Just curious, how is Supress Pain comparing to Corruptor's version? I have a 45 Sonic/Pain and the 4s heal is very small. It's not good enough to keep me alive if I am under attack but it is good when I stand beside my bro's /pain. The stacking heal is ok.

The corruptor version is so weak it's pathetic. The Mastermind version is WAY stronger and stacks very nicely.

Strong yes. Single Target, yes.

/Poison is by far the weakest secondary for MM. Believe me, I've tried A LOT of combos. I think Thug/Poison is a bit better because it is easier to put Noxious Gas on Bruiser but even that is weaker than other secondaries that can provide team supports. I've tried Thug/Trap that actually put me to sleep a bit (so strong).

Poison's debuffs are a bit over-rated anyway. Freezing Rain puts /Poison to shame most of the time.

PS: mmm, I am not sure which one is suckier.. Poison or Trick Arrow. I think I'll take Poison just because I can't imagine playing Necro or Ninja with Trick Arrow.

I will, in fact, argue the point that Poison is a good debuffing set being that a majority of the debuffs are single target. Weaken is the prize winner of this set, in being that placing it with other assorted debuffs on more powerful enemies such as Archvillains or Giant Monsters, will effectively reduce them to mush. Honestly against a group of enemies Poison does have the utility of Noxious Gas (an AoE) and the extra added bonus of Neurotoxic Breath.


It's just the depth of perception and the current use of the secondary I suppose. Really good if you know what you're doing on teams, especially since the debuffs can be applied rather quickly with hasten on more of the hardier targets while the AoEs destroy the rest of the weaker opposition.

But you are right, it *can* be weak in certain situations, and strong in others. I just wish they would replace Poison Trap with something more useful. I'd still place it as one of the better debufing secondaries for MMs.

The lack of healing/buffing for the ninjas will make things quite difficult. Ninjas are very, very frail.

You'll want to keep the ninjas close to you so they benefit from the PBaoe effects (Steamy mist, possibly hurricane.)

Actually his job as a Storm would be to continually keep the Hurricane debuff up by making sure to criss cross through mobs.

Accuracy and ToHit would be my suggestion, but to get more technical 2 Fear, 2 ToHit and 2 Accuracy would be ideal slotting. I've often heard putting a hold IO or two helps out quite a bit.

It's basically an AoE Integration regen wise.

Pros: Amazing debuffs, great crowd control, and a lot of havoc to boot.

Cons: The ninjas will be frail and 02 boost won't cut it at times. Be ready to slot for a butt load of endurance reduction, cause Storm sucks at the blue bar almost as well as you can drain an enemy of endurance.

Does post count really matter?

Technically the best is left to be decided, but Bots/Traps or even Thugs/Traps can solo practically any AV in the game.

Supposedly a /Poison build with Thugs or Bots is viable, but much harder to master.

I'd also advocate Bots/Dark and, to an extent, Zombies/Dark as AV killers.

Some might say bots is a terrible secondary for poison, don't listen to them. Bots is great with any secondary; decent damage, excellent survivability and ranged.

Bots are all ranged so Noxious Gas can be skipped unless you really want it to keep those scrappers dumb enough to hop into the middle of your bots at bay.

Bots 10% defense shield pairs wonderfully with Weakens
-tohit.

With PowerBoost in the scorpion set it makes no sense taking any other Patron power, especially with Poison as your secondary.
