Even after "buffing" EA is still remarkably lower class than the other secondaries pre-IO slotting.
Elec/Elec? Gremlins of d00m?! You bet. Plenty of red textures for you, my friend. Good AoE, good sapping, great endurance mileage, but a less than average turn out even after spending a bundle on IOs. -
Can a fish fly?!
Can a bird swim?!
Screw the analogies, but yes, Elec/SD is the AoE king of the day for melee types. -
I use it for Thugs mainly because they like to scatter away from Pain's healing aura or from Dark Miasma's Twilight Grasp.
Plus the zombies scatter more easily than any other MM Primary, so it's a viable function for them. -

What I do is I have the full set (well almost full set) of advanced controls in my first power tray. That way I can set order and stance separately.

Individual controls are lovely, aren't they? -
Assbot makes for a wonderful BOOOOOOOM!
Slot that detonator and load up your little bot with reds.
Who says Blasters get to have all the fun? -
Time to take the Gentleman overseas.
See you under the green sun! -
Nope. They say they're heroes but are actually bosses.

No they haven't. The only way you would have seen that attack before was if you tried to snipe one or something.

I have, in fact, attacked them with a few of my ranged toons while also aggroing them when passing by. And what I meant by number 2, is that in Warburg sometimes I'd brush past one and he'd fire off his missiles (the Hercules Titan anyways). -
They've always used that attack. It's only just recently I've noticed they now stack holds properly.

Pets would not last a hot sec without their master, I doubt they would do it, but would be fun if pets went wild if you died and starting attacking all. oh and give them npc stats so they really hurt when they attack , you would not get rep or xp from this but would be fun to watch
[/ QUOTE ]
They were like that in CoV beta. If the MM died with pets out the pets would become rogue (basically they'd attack anyone and anything near them). Luckily pets without an MM are weak to some extent, but are generally pretty annoying even as such. -
You forget that street farming for carnies IS popular to a degree, or at least for when trying to kill Master illusionists.
And why would you not have at least 1 mission spot open? Remember you can drop missions every 3 days. (Plus there is only 1 kill 50 Carnies I can think of Hero side).
THis would still be a welcomed change, or reversion in a sense. Also, why kill Carnies when Malta, Nemesis and Rikti (with some DE thrown in near the beaches) are also abundant in Peregrine Island? I'm pretty sure people would avoid Carnies if at all possible. -
I advocate this idea for 1 reason: It gives the game its original feel while also taking part in the more expansive world aside from mission maps that derail you from the wide-open game maps.
Actually cleaning enemies off the streets makes sense for a large part, and the recognition and responsibility of it would, logically, be more rewarding for a "Hero".
For a Villain basically it's putting everyone you beat down on display showing off your own power and sending a message, so it could be as equally rewarding.
And we still have mission with their bonuses and such.
Oh, and Rachael, I doubt zones would be bare. Respawn rates are particulalry higher than you'd think. -
Not this AGAIN.
Oh well, let's just go through this calmly. First off, what/who are you fighting that is mezzing you on a toon without mez protection? Second, why do you have a problem with carrying a few break frees?
A power pool is not the answer. Analyze and understand your enemy/enemy group to figure out which one to avoid/fight. Pin point mezzing enemies and target them first, pull surrounding non-mezzing enemies, or possibly use a break free here and there. Maybe team? Several solutions other than ANOTHER mez thread. -
PvP has become so pathetic I barely bother even going into a PvP zone other than Warburg on Infinity (and that's dead).
<----Casual PvPer
Supposedly the system was designed to help the more casual PvPers PvP. In reality it hampered us, made it harder to learn how things worked, and even frustrated a LOT of us with the nerfing most of the powers got. PvP was simple before i13. You knew pretty much what you were getting into when you went into a PvP zone, and you also knew how things worked since it was pretty much like PvE.
It pains me to see 0 responsibility taken for the mess they've caused, and throwing PvP Recipies at us isn't going to calm a lot of us down. When I finally see them step up and say "Well, uh, we kinda messed up" will be too soon. I don't know why it's so hard for them to revert back to the old system unless with each new patching they erase old coding. -

this one can stack just not from the same caster
[/ QUOTE ]
Well thanks for clearing that up, Jupiter! I didn't know that, hah. Well, guess you learn something new every day -
I thought procs aren't able to stack (I.E. Achillies Heel and Deflated Ego) even when there are multiple casters.
