Yup, as Shadow State... err... stated: logged out time is applied to the current Day Job location your toon is on upon logging in.
I like the idea of being able to see how far you have to go but as of the end of January, I won't have to worry about Day Jobs any longer... until GR comes out (and that's assuming new DJ will be available at that moment). -

That was chaotic and utterly enjoyable. I don't know who they are but it was entertaining.

Isn't that like the whole of the subscribers?

Quote:Although I have no problem extirpating my deontologicalism (or having it done to me... yeah baby, yeah!) I draw the line at making up stuff!I extirpate your hegenomical proscriptivistic deontologicalism!
Hegenomical isn't a word, I think you mean hegemonical (from hegemony) of which I didn't know I held one over grammar usage, especially over the English language which isn't even my first language: profit!!!
Proscriptivisc... I think you mean prescriptivistic (from prescribing) as in "an adherent or advocate of prescriptivism", which in itself means "The practice or advocacy of prescriptive grammar; the belief that the grammar of a language should lay down rules to which usage must conform". I'm a firm believer that grammar is to be applied a priori, not a posteriori as that only leads to sloppy language structures.
And I'm unanimous on that. -
Not if it deters from understand what is being said. Which it does. Steelclaw's text deserved better.

It's balanced around bitter tears and breath stealing hiccups. The Devs thrive on that, especially if you add a couple of crushed hopes to the mix.
Alternatively, as everything that is difficult in this game, it's balanced around debuffers and heavy sustained damage dealing: two corruptors (buff/debuff and debuff/heal preferably) and one brute. The rest is accessories. Although having a Mind perma-Dom who knows how to use Sleep is heavenly. Made for one of the safest last mission I've ever had the pleasure of being on. -
No. I dislike PvP in all shapes and forms. I don't care if you paint it orange and call it a carrot, I still wouldn't touch it.

Quote:Thanks a lot Hyper. I'll try that. Here, have some rep.It may be that it's running into something with Windows Security. Try the following.

- Right-Click on it and select Properties
- Select the Compatibility tab.
- Check Compatibility Mode and take XP SP3
- Check "run as administrator".
- Click OK.
- Click on the Start button
- Click on Help and Support
- In the window that comes up type "turn off UAC" in the search box.
- Click through the links till you get to the UAC slider bar and slide it down.
- Click OK.
- Reboot

There's a Technician Naylor mission set on the Dreck map that is gold for that. Used to be the one used to farm for that badge.

Quote:Instances? You mean it's possible to have more than one of a zone? Uh.This... has kind of been annoying me lately...
The Pocket D VIP Pass is incredibly convenient, yes. But it doesn't allow you to select which instance of Pocket D you wish to go to.
If at all possible, could we please add instance selectors to all Teleporter Powers? Or at least a way to switch between zone instances directly?

Quote:That would make sense if the badges were being awarded to the toons rather than the players and their accounts. Which they are.giving villains the same Veteran Badge titles as Heroes. You know the ones I'm talking about:
Faithful ?
Loyal ?
TRUSTWORTHY ? What kind of name is THAT to give a villain?
Obviously some don't need to be changed: Eternal, City Traveler and Battle Hardened all apply equally to both hero and villain.
What I'm suggesting is that, where appropriate, Veteran badges have a villain variant.
Instead of "Trustworthy" (3 month badge), we would have "Sneaky."
" " Faithful, " " Faithless or Wavering
" " Dependable, " " Treacherous or Erratic
" " Loyal, " " Traitorous or Subversive
" " Steadfast, " " Fickle or Unsteady
" " Devoted, " " Self-Centered or Selfish
" " Dedicated, " " Unreliable or Stubborn
Most of the others, like Committed, Unswerving, and Eternal work for both Hero and Villain ("Addicted" seems an interesting choice for a villain), with the obvious exception of the 63 month badge, "Honorable," which of course would be "Disgraced." -
Quote:Well, this isn't Planescape and Pocket D isn't Sigil, City of Doors...Salvage storage, markets, mission architect, crafting tables, merit vendors, base portals, and tailors(not talking about the tailor that can change a male character to a female character vis versa in the VIP room, just the one that changes the outfit).
For the people with the belief everything should be spread out so players have to travel to several locations to achieve a simple task rather than playing the game. If people are playing the game they'll still have travel to get there. And it'll probally be for a couple of things at a time.
For the people who believe this will make architect farming more efficient. Maybe you should be happy they would be in a rarely used zone instead of in ur zon lagin ur conectshun!
As for the reason suggesting this? I don't know, Pocket D has alway seem like a place to go to get things done and(And if the music was actually the music instead of a background sound; to mute just that)a place to hang out. They already have salvage storage, CoOp arena terminals, tailor(VIP room), and a base portal. I'd just thought that they might as well go all the way and make it a centralized location for getting things done.
So, no. -
Yes.
Just occurred to me that you might want to know how... talk to the Candy Keeper in the Winter Chalet. -

"denile" must be an attempt at evoking a river down in Africa.
"denial" is the word you're looking for.
Now if I can just figure out what the heck a downie is...
