Damn allergies, I lost count of how many times I cried during the show! Went through 10 tissues.
Yeah, it must have been the allergies. And dust getting into my eyes. Oh, and the bright lights too.
Loved the last episode and the music they used was timed for maximum tearjerking. -

Quote:Oh boy, oh boy!How about setting a goal of going a full DAY without Virtue and ONLY Virtue Server shutting down right in the middle of a mission, dumping us ignominously from the game? I'm sure it can be done.
A Q_Q thread!
Been ages since I saw one of these! -

Ah, but now that Damz has joined the "North American Pigdogs", as theOcho put it, his chances of getting one have severely decreased. Muahahahaha *hack* *cough* *spit* ... Urgh, sorry, furball...
-
Damz is talking about Gold Titles in the Forums, not in game...
-
I don't think this forum sports the capability for having Gold Titles like the old one did Damz... so I'm guessing you won't be seeing that wish come true.
Mine would be "Extraordinary Carrot Eater". -
Quote:Pst, the hallows got an accolade, and that is a hazard zone :P
I'd guess the other zones listed didn't get an accolade because that would require more exploration badges to be put in. Besides heroes already got way more then villains did. Yes, Going Rouge will make them both available, but that's not out yet :P
RWZ should have an accolade for it's 15 explorations... maybe leave out the one under the shield.
The Hollows ceased to be a proper Hazard zone when it got revamped, same as Faultline and the RWZ. Less foes per mob, repeatable missions contact, revised mission doors, scalable mob difficulty, a trainer and even an hospital; those are the staples of a vanilla zone, not a hazard zone.
Also: rogue dude, rogue. Not rouge, that's make-up.
Faultline didn't get any new exploration badges because it was decided that 8 would be the number of badges needed for the Accolade. Which Faultline already had. I'm thinking the RWZ didn't get its Accolade exactly because it exceeds this number with its whooping 14 exploration badges (plus the Architect one, but that one doesn't count anywhere). -
IIRC, that was the intent of that feature: start out with the ability to be made until level 5 and then expand on that. Maybe it fell down the cracks with all the new stuff being developed?
-
Because some are Hazard zones, some are PvP zones and one is a special access zone. The intent was to limit the Accolades to vanilla zones only.
Also, for all the zones you listed only the Shadow Shards have no exploration badges. -
When I create it. If I create it, it's a keeper. I've never deleted a toon so far, and I'm up to twenty level 50 toons.
-
Ah yes... It's the old "devs hate villains" line.

You know what might help people not knowing your new global? Not advertising it on your signature on the forums.
n00b
Yeah, I was one of the people that went noooooooooooooooooooooooo when I saw you had changed your Global... it made me a sad bunny. -

Dungeon? Seriously? Did this became WOW when I wasn't looking?
Instance you mean, instance.
I'm all for the idea, not so much for the PVP version of it. -
You can stand really good for months at a time. Here, have a Vet badge.

Quote:OK, first you change your global to something that isn't Damz and now you jump ship to NA? Booo I say, boooo!well you know one of the reasons why i've decided to play NA mostly now mate
Dont get me wrong though, my EU account will always be the one that i play if they ever did do a merger. My characters on it just have too much time and effort in them to totally throw away -

Once more, I think it's related to having to have anything that is posted there translated into two different languages. Having said that, you'd think they had enough time for doing that by now... guess people are still busy with GR and new in game stuff.
-
Quote:And they're somewhat limited on what gets put over there as it needs to be translated to 2 additional languages... at least that's what they used to say.To keep in line with the US updater could the following be added so that EU players who dont visit the forums have more information on them
- Server Status
- Known Issues
- Patch updates
- Update the GR pre-purchase information. At the moment it currently states that by pre-ordering GR you get early access to DP and DS early which will be shortly released after i17. With both i17 and DS on live now, it makes sense to update the information here.
- No 6th year annivers contest information
- Finally . . . . . is there a way to make it more visually attractive? Just seems so bland at the moment.
I'm all for having the suggestions you've given implemented. -
Quote:Not enough for an issue but certainly enough for several patches. Issues shouldn't be used for such trivial matters only. They should be robust and chock-full of cool stuff to do, leaving you with a full belly and a desire to burp and ask for the dessert cart once more.It occurred to me while travelling through Steel, as I watched a myriad of poor hapless citizens not walking, not running, but 'sliding' around.. that I would be more than happy with an issue devoted not to new content or shinyness but instead devoted to tweaking all of the little inherent QOL bugs/glitches/issues. Such as the aforementioned roller-skating citizens, or my window opacity resetting itself every time I zone, or being unable to utilize the 'globe' symbol for base design.. Just the little things.
If in fact this wasn't substantial enough, there could be new content as well to go along with the theme and maybe expand SG emblems, or street signs on the corners, or an idea that might perhaps stand by itself ; Coalition Beacons. I shall elaborate should the concept not be self-explanatory.
The concept behind Coalition Beacons would be having the ability to use a base teleporter to beam to a Coalition Base without having to exit your base and re-enter the portal selecting the Coalition Base you want to go to. Granted, not a huge endeavor, but as the main theme here is 'little things' I think it fits. Obviously, should you or your Coalie break the Coalition, the Beacon becomes inactive. Nevertheless, I thought it might be kewl.
