I love each and every book in the Discworld continuum and, in my view, there is only one order in which they should be read which is chronological order. Any other order is disrespecting the author.
I have every book he ever published and haven't regretted reading any of them. Some of them (if not all) I've read more than once. "Thief of time" is one of my all time favourites, but then again, so is "Strata". So to all the critics here, using terms like "cruder" and "driest" when referring to Pterry's writing, please pick one of the following:
a) go stuff your head up a ducks bottom!
b) bugrit and millennium shrimp!
As for "I shall wear midnight" the only reason I haven't bought it yet is the fact that there is no paperback version out... I never buy hard-covers unless I know no paperback is coming out. -
I was crashing a lot and experiencing extreme load times (like 5mins and upwards) but since I've updated my GFX card drivers they seem to have mostly gone away.
I'm on a nVidia GTX295, W7 32bits and 2GBs RAM by the way. -

I just knows what ideas I like, and more Ouro TF's would be great, same with Roman Place (with the name that always eludes me).
It's like they were just added to the game and forgotten about.

Floating high above mysterious waters, twin bridges float either side of the main island. On each island is an Ouroboros portal to either the Isle or the City, along with the mender responsible for the villain/hero Ouro TF, with room for more.
In the centre island, where the current portal is, the portal shall lead to Praetoria. Flanking either side is a pair of Menders, who task heroes, of either dimension, to ensure that certain events happens in Praetoria as the Coming Storm spreads out across the multiverse. From fighting in the Hamidon Wars, to ensuring the formation of the syndicate, and so forth. Room for others by them.
The central house of Ouroboros will hold the co-op TF Menders, along with a shrine containing three pillars of Fire and Ice surrounding the main 'chunk'. One leads to Praetorian Missions, one to Hero side, and the other to Villainside.
Above and below, in the aether of time, float reflections of past, present and future lives.
And high above, on an ivory tower draped in gold and crystal, Mender Silos will sit, smile, and wait... -
So far, I've been:
- told I'm not entering a valid number for that type of card
- flat out refused
- suspected of fraud
- flat out accused of committing fraud
- told to try again later or try another retailer (curiously, none sell the pack I'm after, I wonder why...)
This happened before and after you messed with your backend. I was trying to buy the infamous Party Pack, with a Visa Credit Card which expires in 2012, pretty much doing the same stuff I did with all the other packs before it. No joy here.
As per advice from Avatea, I've sent a petition in. -

Bad enough this is a pack consisting of emotes only, but to have the store refuse to accept payment is, well, laughable really.

Mind, being a closed Beta, there's no way of knowing if:
a) it has started
b) someone from EU is in it (without them breaking their NDA)
Also, as someone as stated in the other thread discussing this, there have been signed NDA in the past where you are required to physically print and sign the form and then fax it over.
And again, it might not be as easy as some in this thread are saying it is as there's still the slight matter of differences between legal systems in both countries, because no matter what, the beta takes part on the NA servers for which EU players don't have access and for which EU subscription fees do not cover said access.
In the end, unless a red name comes in and says categorically that no EU players will be in the I20 closed beta, there is no way of knowing if it will be NA only or not.
So, IMHO, it'll most likely be a NA only thing. -
I loved Riff's set as I adore jazz, swing and the big bands but alas I could only listen for 20 mins as it started so late.
Still, the bit I listened to was awesome!

I like my DO very much, thanks, and would prefer to leave them as is. TO, however, I don't give a fig about. Those are the ones that should be removed from the game (if anything is to be removed) like the litter drops they are.

There is no such badge and I have a transcript of a Dev meet & greet in Pocked D where Positron states they're not going to do "binary" badges like the one you describe. And all I can say to that is: thanks carrots for that!

The numbers I refer to were pulled from the Badge Hunter site. I have no idea if they are the correct ones or not and I don't know why there's one more for villains.
Still, I don't see how it is possible to currently get above 1000 badges.
