No. There was a time and a place for Indiana Jones, and those have passed. If it doesn't have Harrison Ford starring as Indy, it's not Indy.

I tested this for an hour, in Grandville. I was solo, on a Mind/Emp level 50 Controller, and I was making sure to always wear the Halloween costume. As it happens, during that time I got one Halloween Tip (H-Tip) mission, marked by its distinctive pumpkin symbol. I received more than 5 regular tips which I proceeded to dismiss to make room for the intended Halloween ones. Interestingly enough the H-Tip dropped not from a mob, but from clicking on the door, as a Treat. Is this WAI?
First suggestion would be to make it so the only kind of tip that could possibly drop whilst wearing the Halloween costume is the Halloween one.
Second suggestion: the time between door clicks needs, IMHO, to be scaled down a bit. I find it frustrating having to wait between door clicks especially if I have already defeated all the mobs from the previous door.
It's pleasing to see (and I hope this wasn't a bug) the Halloween mission not counting towards the allotted maximum of tips run per day. With the 6 badges tied to them it would be a nightmare of epic proportions, from a logistics point of view, to collect all of them within the event duration. Thanks for taking that into consideration Developers!
The mission I ran (I don't know if there are more) was the Whispered Rumour one (Recover the Malleus Mundi). I won't describe it so as not to spoil it for others but I was not awarded any badge for it, upon completion. As I don't know what the criteria for the awarding of the 6 new badges is, I could not ascertain if this was a bug or not.
I was, however, forced to repeat the same mission as upon completion I got a message stating something to the effect of this mission has been completed, return to your contact. On clicking on that option, the mission was made available again and upon second completion, still no badge was awarded.
For the sake of testing, could we have a requirement list for the badges so we know what needs to be done please? Thanks. -
Unlocking is one thing, crafting the power and the requirements for said crafting are a totally different one. Think it was monehs + vanguard merits + regular merits to unlock/craft it during GR Beta, I'm sure it has changed by now though.

Jungle. Those luscious, deep, dark green vibrant jungles with stuff that can rip your head off, swallow you whole and/or poison you before you can even say what bit me?
Moon zone. Moon zone. Moon zone.
There. I said it thrice. -
I don't PvP at all and even I can see what mess something like that would be in there...

It's 100 Coralax kills for the Coralax Blue Hybrid badge.

Quote:Oh but my sugar plum, I was being facetious! You said they suck and I answered wai, because, well, that's what they do: they suck your end.In any case if anyone missed the memo, this was basically meant as a lol I got beat down post. I'm not really upset, not whining, just saying blah bad luck haha.
At any rate, it was a tip mission. I had to save a diplomat or city council from the Malta. Walk in and it says something like, "You hope the bait is still alive," or some such.
I think I did end up getting hit by a spawn and an ambush. All I know is I was rocking the Malta. Invul/SS tank, snickering at their bullets then BAM the screen flares white from sapper hits and I suck floor.
My friend, who had never seen Malta before said, "What just killed us?" I said, "The hand of God." They said, "That's in the game?" I said, "Yep, they call them Malta Sappers." -
No we don't. We really, really don't.
Unless the time it takes to earn them decreases. ¬_¬ -
Awww Quinch, your avatar is so full of cute! ^_^

Honeybuns, you can always have a hug. You just have to ask, I mean, that's why I've put it on my sig and all.
*hugs*
Plus I find people who use the "word" 'scurred' to be endearing, so have an extra one.
*hugs again* -
I find it disturbing that you didn't go for Mr. Carliwen...

Given current trends, 8 per zone.

Are we making an oblique reference to Pokémon in any way?
I would also like to see this implemented. -
Yay!
*sploings around spreading joy and happiness all over the thread*
So happy for you guys!
All the best! -
I'm based on Defiant (that's EU for all you NA players out there) and I've been in five CoP raids so far, four of which used nukes and only one of which yielded success. Now that the nukes are disallowed I've lost all hope of getting the badges on my main villain.
It's very hard to get 24 people to join in on the raid and then to coordinate them using only what CoX makes available for communication and then battling an AV that cheats and heals faster than anything else I've ever seen.
I'm glad you guys are able to run several raids on the same night but before doing a change like this to borked content, I think the borked content should first be fixed and then be nerfed. Heck, make it so that it can only be run once every 20 hrs if the merits awarded are such a big concern.
Of course if the AV thing was fixed there would be no need for Nukes.
Either way, I feel like it was a poor patch up job for a poor implementation from the start. -

Farewell Westley! It was a pleasure meeting you.
Here, take some carrots, you might need them.

Jolly good show Madam, jolly good show indeed!
One more for Game On! -
Ah, so that's what it is! Thanks for explaining it Turgy! It was doing my head in.
My undercover Hero cannot keep Nerva, GV and some others red side I can't remember now uncovered (he previously couldn't keep any of the SS maps open, but that doesn't bother me much as I hardly go there).
So far my bicurious Villain has only had problems with the SS maps and has all of the "regular" blue zones uncovered.
What is also doing my head in is the fact that my newly acquired Reveal power not only does not work in the SS as it also resets any portion of the map I may have uncovered up to the point I use it.
Needless to say, petitions have been issued.
PS - Loved the OCD pic. It actually made me LOL. -
No. No. No. Not now, not ever. As someone as already said, this is not something that the community, as a whole, wants or needs.

Quote:I'm guessing any crafted enhancement could be broken down into its base components minus inf necessary to create them... but then again I think it would be necessary to add some sort of component degradation to avoid excessive reuse of same components over and over.Could you give some examples in CoX terms, for those of us who haven't played those games?
I'm not in favour of this idea, I think the crafting/auction systems are enough of a grind and pain in the behind as is, no need to increase complexity further.
