Quote:This ^^I don't think I've ever asked someone directly for a build, but I've been known to copy ones that have been posted. I don't see anything wrong with it. Different people enjoy different aspects of the game. I like beating up bad guys. I like collecting badges. I like designing costumes. I don't like crunching numbers or min-maxing. I downloaded Mid's Planner once. I started it up, and then just kind of stared at it for five minutes, because I had no idea where to even begin with it. I'm sure it's very useful if you understand the numbers and know what you want.
I don't want a godmode build, and I'm not looking to be PL'd to 50 overnight. I just want to play the game and not feel like I'm horribly gimped. So if someone who actually understands all the ins and outs of the system is willing to share, then heck yeah I'm going to take advantage of it. Is that lazy? I suppose it is. But then, so is looking on the wiki to find out what the requirements for the Atlas Medallion are, or checking Vidiotmaps to see where the history plaques are located. People share information about the game all the time, I don't see why sharing builds is any different. -
I've teamed with you in PD. I don't recall any embarrassing stuff. I want my quatloos backs!

NIce to see it turned out for the best Beefers!
I don't mind using the two programs, I was already doing do with HeroStats and Glycerine.
-
And this is why I only ask for builds to people I play with.

I don't like Swap, can you change it to Switch?
Otherwise, awesome proposal. -
He's a married lawyer with 3 kids who likes to dive into the minutiae of the game and write guides for other players. He's not part of the Dev team but somehow always gets invited to Beta. He and Evil Geko insist that the Incarnate arc is soloable by any squishy and if you can't solo it, you're doing it wrong.
He might be the most interesting man in CoX. -
Thanks for the update War Witch.
News is better than no news.
Also thanks for explaining the strange holidays you NAers have, everyone else who did. -

Quote:Empowerment buffs were counting two weeks ago when I crafted them on my Corr who still hasn't Fabricator. He went from 1497 to 1503 by crafting empowerments. It's definitely a "plodding" badge now, especially since they got rid of base salvage. There used to be a time where you could get a bunch of base salvage to craft base components (which counted for Fabricator) then burn those components off as Empowerment Buffs (which also counted).
Of course Fabricator used to require 10,000 crafts (not just 2,000) so I guess it all makes sense somehow. -
I've ran 1 or 2(ish) ITF since the transfer and I can attest that they're now smoother than a baby's bottom. I do, however, experience the odd powerlag now and then and very infrequent rubberbanding. But all in all, I'd say it was a smoother experience than before.

I'd say go Rogue as that one will allow you to accrue progress towards the red side DJ as well as grant you access to the relevant zones with new exploration badges. Alignment has no effect gold side so you're safe there.

Quote:Sugar buns, sweetie pie, sweet potato fry up... If you only have seen one people attached to their global, you're doing it wrong. There have been some players expressing their dislike towards this most vehemently, me being one of them. From the top of my head I think I recall FFM, Myopic Aardvark and some others express their opinion against it also.Nope, warned about it yesterday. I'd imagine a server list merge would require more notice to nut out what happens with globals etc. Although I've only seen one person say they wouldn't want to change their global. I have no attachment to mine except thats what people know my by. I'd change in a hearbeat for a merge, as would most EU players I'd bet.
So no, it's not just one person. It's several. -

Quote:Oy vey, quit your kvetching dongle boy!I was more referring to the fact that its in the middle of the bloody day, unlike the Americans who get there stuff in the morning
Plus if i19 does go live on the 16th that'll be about 5 hours too so thats 11 hours of daylight play time that we are gunna miss in 6 days. i dont personally get much lag while playing and i play on a wifi dongle so this upgrade seems pointless and inconvenient -
Quote:Ok, I am seeing a COMPLETE lack of DOOOOOM posts in here!! What's going on, are we not Forumites?? Shouldn't someone be looking for the Bad Thing about this??
Seriously though, I'm praying for a list merge, just tack the 4 EU ones on the bottom, it's win win, the US players get 4 new servers to make alts on, giving more players on the quieter servers, the EU players get alllll those new servers to play on, former EU and US players can catch up with all friends, global lists explode, all is happy and Rosie.....rosie, sorry
Come onnnnn, Devs and Mods, you know it makes sense!
I can play some Muse - Uprising if it'll make you feel better? -
I'm shocked, stunned and surprised. And also at a loss for words. I don't know what to say really... It's all in a good way though. Thanks Avatea and others responsible for this.
