Well, of course it did. It is supposed to leave a few stray knots and a cliffhanger so that the zone can later be revisited. After all, levels 30-50 in Praetoria still need fleshing out.

Meh, I don't give a fig about the market so everything I put in there gets listed for 5 inf. And yes, that includes purple drops too (of which I get one every blue moon).

I just bought enough points to land me on T4 vet and was under the impression that this way I would have access to the AE on my Preep account. Alas, although I can run missions in there, I get no drops whatsoever. Is this WAI?

No idea, but Aaron Thierry is a 1-7 contact, according to Paragon Wiki. Meaning that you can purposely stop your XP influx and do him (fnar fnar) at level 1 if you want to.

Add a Freeps channel where they can chat away? They'd still retain the ability to post on Help for help, but it might reduce the amount of spam going on in there and allow people to actually help those who need help.

You need to craft both from the 15 range and the 20 range. According to my tables, in the 15-20 range, Accuracy IOs need to be created in a 7-6 split, that is, 7 level 15 ones and 6 level 20 ones.
For that same level range all the other categories are also on a 7-6 split with the exception of Debuff (2-2), Heal and Mitigation (5-4) and Mez (5-5). -
