The real problem with Nerva, is it really should be 2 zones. The first with Crimson Cove, the Crey facility, and Agincourt at it's north end. The second being mainly Primeva and Thorn Isle. This would cut down on the two mile gaps between missions. That's the main thing. The second thing that would really allow Nerva to shine is fixing the gawdamned canopy. What kind of weinie little super villain can't muster enough force to break through a jungle canopy. That's crap, and it makes traveling Primeva an extra special pain in the posterior.
Grandville is mostly fine, and certainly thematic. I just can't see the reason for having so many missions so high off the ground that the player can't even see the nav arrow that is supposed to lead him there. -
Also, now that we have 2 weapon users on the team, and I expect that we will have more, is running Technician Naylor at 35 so we can get the Rularuu (sp) gear.

I was thinking we would probably take Kalinda, just because she's right next to the Arbiter for when we crush out those first 3 or 4 levels, but if most players would rather do Burke that is fine with me.
Also, great sig Golgothan. -

Hello my fellow evil doers!
I'm putting together a team of villains for issue 16 to celebrate the next round of Powerset Proliferation and the long awaited Power Customization.
This team will start at level 1 or 2 (depending on if you want to do the Tutorial or not), and level up to 50 running missions, Strike Forces, and Respecs. It will be an opportunity to meet your fellow villains, and steal and destroy things with them. It's also an excuse to roll a new character to try out the newest proliferated powers, if you want.
The team will meet once a week, on Tuesday evenings, and play from 8 eastern time until 10 eastern time. Possibly longer if a Strike Force runs long. We will discuss the week's planned capers and misdeeds here on the forums between sessions, so everyone can know what to expect when they sign on for the week.
So what are you waiting for? Grab your mask and inject yourself with that unstable serum! What's the worst that could happen? Sharpen your blade and get ready We will make war on the so called heroes, and tear the capes from their backs. We will rob, plunder, and pillage, as is the right of the truly mighty. No law can keep us in check, no prison can hold us, no hero can stand before us. We are the deserving, the powerful. We are The Rogue Isles Legends.
Sign up with your new villain below! -

I hope issue 4 has thread necromancy.
Also, lolz Statesbanned. -
The truth is less satisfying than your theory, I think.
It's from a fake video that a pair of young brothers posted. The younger of the two, seen in my avatar, pretends to throw a huge tantrum. At the height of his rage, he attemps to become one flesh with a nearby remote control. As you can see.
Naturally, I find this hillarious. -
Well, I finally got the thing to work, so here's mine.
-
Man someone gave me negative rep for my avatar. I'm so mad I'm gonna go sodomize myself with a remote control.

In Pennsylvania. Haven't noticed so much as a hiccup.

Infinity's been just fine for me of late. I think it's your ISP.

Quote:All this is moot any which way because we all know that Ice would be soooo much better on Stalkers. Slowing Fury, although passable with a proper attack chain, is still relevant to a brute's EARLY development. I couldn't possibly imagine the frustration in slowing your enemies when you only have two or so primary attacks at level 8. Your fury wouldn't generate very well. Plus, not enough smash, which is a reason I'm upset about Claws joining the brute powersets.
Once again I will repeat this until it sinks in. I AM PLAYING A BRUTE WITH POWERS THAT ALMOST COMPLETELY RETARD MY FURY GENERATION RIGHT NOW.
Stunned enemies do not attack. Enemies are very nearly perma stunned in melee with me. I generate dick for Fury with what I have right now.
So the argument that we can't choose a powerset combo which is bad for fury doesn't hold water. We obviously can, so since that is the case, bring on the Ice. -
I think we're all in agreement.
BUT AND HOWEVER
I seem to distinctly recall the very first Powerset Proliferation (I12 I believe) they specifically said they weren't going to do Ice for Brutes because it sucked for Fury. They explained this then in the announcement of how Proliferation was going to work. I do not believe there have been signifigant changes to Fury since I12, but I could be in error in that regard.
If Fury hasn't changed since then, then we have to assume that the Devs either know something that we can't figure out, or that we've outsmarted them, and they owe us bonus Ice powers in I16.
