On Claws vs MA Cyn I've tried MA toons a couple of time and never really been able to get into them for some reason. As for Shockwave, only tend to use that with Focus for the KD against bosses and the like. You see now, i'm really in the mood for another scrapper alt, as i deleted Eternal Dark again! DM was just a slow slogging set ,the punches seem to plod whereas MA or Claws for example, gives you the sense of "kicking a**"
Now i'm still keeping the Eternal Dark name, so i've opted for ??/DA, and as i already have a claws stalker and a MA scrapper, it's either going to be DB or Spines. Hmmmmmmmmm

Well, now that you ask, i do have a couple of low level alts .

So while we wait for Feb, i'll pop on next Saturday morning with a lowbie, and see whats what! It'll be a blaster or a controller.

I recieved an email from the Capt, stating due to a very busy R.L. he will not be re-subbing until the Middle of February.

Not good, i know.

This kind of puts the Saturday Team-Up in a big hole, so for the moment it seems we're on pause.

Sundays.......No Chance.....................
Weekdays from about 11:00pm till 01:00am ish or till i fall asleep.

Well, i'll pop on at about 10/11am to see whos about, and if theres no team this saturday i'll still be on CoH most of the day putting my new lag free specs through its paces.

Yup! Lag free! Brand new 4 Gigs of ram, the maximum it can take, and i now have NO lag whatsoever, minimal zoning times of about 5/10 secs, even with recomended graphics set!

Cool. I just got my Jingle Jet with Silent Revenant , and shed loads of candy canes, almost lvl 15 and looking forward to Saturday.

After scrounging around i now have 2 gig of ram, in a fully cleaned, defragged and optimized machine.
After testing last night, it took 10 secs to load the Faultline screen, and only the tinyest of lag gitters whilst moving.
Now to get 5 bars,( and some contacts ) see you Sat

Will be 15 in time for next sat.

The lag finally killed my connection so much so that it took 15 mins for CoH to fully shut down.
Ive now done a complete defrag, and will have to get a bit more ram to counter that "unable to move for 3 mins once ive loaded into a map" problem

Server stability.....not for me.

Earth gives probably the best or second best control in the game and fire gives nice damage. Both would be handy I think. But if Capt does change for Fire/Kin I'd always rather have multiple rads than multiple kins. Get a diminishing rate of return on Kin buffs very quickly

Edit: Oh and ice was lovely back in the old days, but its best soft control (slick) doesn't work with imob and imob is where trollers get containment from mostly. So with multiple controllers on the team ice doesn't perform as well I11 as it did in I4

Which is exactly why i will probably change for a more agressive controller next saturday, the Ice slick will now have a very limited use as the main source of controller group damage is the Mass Immob.

I feel Zalera: Fire/Kin or Sherrif Locke: Earth/Rad will be more benifical as we already have a very good Ice Controller anyway.

Yeah, i've just fully enhanced her powers and will see how she performs next sat. But Earth, Fire and Mind powers are just a lot more fun than Ice it seems, you live and learn!
