The level of intelligence issue... I thought of Rain Man. Hear me out. An idiot Savant(sp?). Highly intelligent, yet the through put, or way of expressing said intelligence is gated and impaired. Think of, "it's right on the tip of my tongue" moments. Or lean towards Einstein, brilliant, but can't tie his shoes.

Sex... A-sexual. Go plant based. This is a ironic twist to being scared or confused by nature. Also can allow for what AT...

The AT... Stalker. Fearful and easily confused, leads to fight or flight. Stealth and deception can allow for a superstitious race to avoid most threats perceived or otherwise.

I guess what I'm getting at is, look at how animals (insects and plants) react to their surroundings. Even the higher intelligent ones are bound by instinct.

What you need is a little space. "F l a m e G u y" has more awkward pauses than a Jeff Goldblum speech.

So get out there heroes (or villians) and make your mark on mediocrity! If not you, then whoever... Just make sure you park that name so one else can snag it.

Check the AE for farm missions. If the date is more than, say, 4 months old... Then it may not be an acceptable up to date farm. Experiment, find or create your own farm mission. Check the Mission Architect forum for pointers.

If they make a Stone Manipulation secondary for blasters, they should sure as heck make a Stone Blast set. THAT would be awesome... Subsonic stone javelins and exploding volcanic boulders.... YES!

Have a look at your "Map" and be sure that the legend has the map icons turned on. That should help you make your way around the city zones easier. Also, look at your "Contact" menu. There are people there that can give missions and some can even teleport you to them. Get yourself used to these two functions. Both of these are located as dropdown menus on the "Navigation" window centered on the top of your screen.

Never be afraid to ask for help, either here on the forums, in the "help" channel, or from a player in game. There is a lot of quirks to the game so immediate mastery is not inherent.

I too have a Dark/Stone Dom and went with sand(ish) coloring for the dark. One thing about the stone, it likes your blue bar. I lvl'd an Elec/stone Dom and got spoiled with electric's end return. Damage (st particularly) makes stone a beast for doms. I went soul mastery for extra damage.

I can't comment on iTrial stuff, haven't started that with either Dom, sorry. Have fun brutalizing things with stone.

I'm looking at a Merc/Pain for pure theme reasons. No attacks from the primary and only Soothe and maybe share pain if it works on pets. The bulk of powers will come from the pool powers; leadership, a travel (teleport maybe), hasten, heal other(maybe), stealth. Then if it goes well, incarnate powers... Perhaps no judgement though.

Was thinking of making a Psychic Blast/Pain corruptor to play as the MM when not using her minions... Get a character in two story lines at once

Ok, I've heard of "petless" MMs, but has anyone done the opposite? Using just the primary summon and buff powers (and power pool choices) constructed a workable MM?

I have a concept for a character that is a complete shut in. Interacting with the world through his minions. I would play off his "presence" as a subtle holographic projection or mental projection (making use of the stealth/invisibility pool powers). Using Hasten, Leadership, and a few secondary like the single target heals from Pain Dom or even O2 boost... But nothing to directly affect the enemy. No debuffs, direct damage from my character. Just powers to passively effect my minions (single target heals and leadership for concept, mental linking or cybernetic bound and all).

Is this something that is workable, or am I stacking the deck against myself a little too much?

Try the test transfer (ie: transfer to test) and see how it goes. I have to agree with the "senior rep", don't try it... Unknown territory.

Not aware of a compiled black list of words... I guess it's just a "best judgement" kind of thing. I would think to avoid "damn" but perhaps "the Damned Electric Bill" might be good, due to the fact that there is an enemy called "Damned". Just a thought. Oh, use the title "the" to save space.

There is a player that I saw recently that came back to the game... He played a character named Hairband Rocker. The character always spoke with little musical notes preceding and ending everything typed. I loved that character, and it wasn't even mine

I would love to see this powerset find it's way into the players hands.

If I put together enough footage trom Ghost Rider and quality Bahli-wood action flicks depicting motorcycles zooming across lakes, streams, oceans and lagoons. Then presented this to the dev team with cookies, I could sway them to ditch this notion of "terrain issues".

Also, I want a unicycle riding ostrich as a travel power... I have an awesome character idea.

I for one want to see supers screaming across the landscape atop their steely twin wheeled hogs. Capes streaming behind them as they power slide up to Ms Liberty. Who cares about terrain issues... Let the bikes cruise across water and flip off in game physics while turning... Ghost Rider can do it and he's considered a "superhero".

Kudos to you! Reminds me of a character I was playing that only used brawl and crafted temp powers. Kinda went with a Casey Jones idea. I hadn't yet gotten him temp powers from missions, but I loved playing him, solo all the way to 15 when i shelved him. (i'm an altoholic) I might dust him off.
