Happy glorious morning everyon-
Wait a tic. *looks outside*
Oh. Well then. Goodnight. I guess.
Also, if anyone was playing with Oceanspawn tonight, and wondered why I ditched... I didn't I just DC'd and it was time to go to bed, anyway, so I just quit. Sorry! -
This thread still makes me smile.
ALso, tell Sister Flame that her arc rocks! Disco Trolls. *lol in real life* -
This is... wow.
Just wow.
And yet, this seems like it's all true. Every little bit of it seems like it's straight from the comics and the game.
What's funny about all this is I was just reading the comics that fit into this story. Spooky, no? -
July 4th.
It's pretty close to the release of CoH, and it's America's birthday. What better day would there be? -
Awesome job Heroid! Congrats on the winning, but especially on getting into a comic book!
Awesome story, by the way. WIll there be more? Because, ya know. I need to know what happens next. Don't leave me hangin'! -
I did this on my main, BLargenwargen, several levels ago. I give it five stars for the innovation, use of maps, and storyline! And although I HATE that one foggy map (you know the one) I understand why it was needed for the story. All in all, a great arc!

Synapse throwing, as shown by the City Of Villains first trailer.
House summoning.
Cutting guns in half... with your MIND.
Super mysteriousness. Would be a defensive set, relying heavily on stealth.
Rollerskates as a travel power.
Sibling summoning.
Cat armor.
Trout melee.
Melted Wax Blast (say THAT ten times fast!)
Dragon Ball Z esque powerset. Gives you the ability to have some super strength, fire blast, fire armor, and a couple of "power up" powers that make you more powerful, depending on how long and loud you scream. Oh, and the last power would be called "OVER NINE THOUSAND!"
Teddy Bear Assault for Dominators and Blasters.
Laser beam eye powerset. Like Cyclops. But better.
The ability to rip off your own lims and smack people with them.
Burnt sugar powersets.
The ability to catch yourself on fire... and not have it help you. At all.
Saurkraut manipulation.
The power to turn invisible... and never come back.
Pickup Truck Blast!
Human Shield.
Frisbees!
Super Ball Throwing. You just carry around a ball that you throw, kick, or otherwise harm your enemies with. You could make it look like a soccer, basket, base, or foot ball.
That's all I got. -
I don't have problems with names. I just do names that either don't make sense, or in rare cases, no-one has ever thought of.
ANother good strategy is to take the one word that best describes the character (or powersets) and then change a letter or two. Like "laser" turns into "Phazor." "Fire" can be changed into "Phyer" (overused, but you get the idea.)
Or, go the DC route and just slap man, woman, lad, lass, or dog at the end of the name. Superman, Batman. Superhorse. Underdog. Etc.
These are overused concepts I know, but it is tried in true in the comics all through history. -
*wakes up late*
*snatches coffee*
Hurrough ev'rbuddy... ugh...
*collapses into chair* -
Whoah nelly-
*gets tackled*
Nope. Never do get rid of Global friends.
And yes, Blargenwargen is my current main. He's still kickin'!
And btw, this was just returning to the forums. I was still playing the game. -
*Leans back, relaxes*
Too true. Too true.
I can almost still here the "nevermore."<--- expression of contentment of the past
-
My Blaster is definitely gonna go rogue as soon as it comes out, at least for a little while. He's really much more of an anti-social anti-hero, than your typical "good wins again!" superhero.
I want to have a villain go good, but I have very few villains and all of them are way too... evil. From an RP standpoint, there's no reason whatsoever that they'd turn good. -
The title says it all.
Now, gimme back all my stuff! -

That's the cause of your problem in a nutshell.

I concur. -
Guess who's back in black, peoples?!
That's right, it's Blarg. Oh yeah. -
I LURVE THIS THREAD!
THAT IS ALL!
More stories! More stories! -
I love this thread. SO much. *warm fuzzy feelings*
-
Cool story. Chessmaster is quite spooky, but cool in his own creepy way. Keep it up!
-
This is gold.
Pure. Gold.
Please, more, more! I want to see how this pain-resistant bumbling minion gets out to be! Will he gain anything else? So far we know that he is
A: A typical, bumbling minion, who just recently joined up.
B: Has rediculously high levels of pain tolerance, even though it seems like he feels pain more when he notices it is there...
C: Wears a modified Freakshow suit as body armor.
D: Has a 7.5 on a scale of ten on his evil laugh! -
I've said it before, I'll say it again.
This thread is the best CoH thread of all time. Just TRY and top it! -
Come on people! Somebody besides me come in to talk about how good this story is!
-
...
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. If you're looking for crits, his arms look a bit knobbly. Arms to skinny, muscles too bulbous. Aside from that, great! -
Awwww...
Grumblethump is so pitiful, but so great at the same time. I almost wish he was real. I wouldn't mind hanging out with him.
