holy freaking crap dude. This is so very true. My main is a level 28 Katana/regen scrapper and I'm a domesticated scrapper. I was unfortanely raised in captivity but I like it. With more people there is more baddies, and with more baddies there is more for me to kill, and as the kill count rises, the chaos grows.
So i've learned to love it but as domesticated as I am, I completely agree with the kill stealing part. Nothing aggravates me more when I'm working on a guy (I don't care that he's a purple and can complete over power me!) and there's plenty of other baddies to kill and some blaster or fellow scrapper decides to "help" me. I'm a scrapper, I need no help. If you're my teammates, don't "help" me with my target; keep the other baddies off me and heal me. The enemy I'm fighting is mine, and mine alone, and thats how you should treat all scrappers.
As for the scrappers being psychotic, yea we are, but i don't like to call it psychosis as much as I like to call it the "scrapper bloodlust". As a scrapper you devolop a state of mind where you must take on every enemy for the sake of doing it. The higher up the monster, the more you want them dead. If your scrapper says "Lets kill Lusca", you better haul over to IP or you're either gonna lose a scrapper or you're onna have one angry scrapper on your hands. Trust me, you don't want an angry scrapper. The OP didn't call us a"living blender" for nothing. Have a nice day!
