I still think they should have an Organic set of wings (made to match the Organic selections already in game) that is usable by all characters by default. I have suggested so many times.
-
Still gonna have to test this out personally but since no one else seems to remember it as I do, I guess I must be mistaken.
Thanks all.

Pretty sure it was always Ms. Liberty...
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm pretty sure I remember her being a Miss when I first saw her in issue 1 and I think she is still referred to that way in game sometimes.
Now I'm going to have to do the Tutorial, the Aura mission and any mission I can find that tells me to talk to her to test this.

One is the mother of the other. I believe Miss is the mother and Statesman's daughter.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup.
Maiden Justice = Monica Richter, Statesman's wife, who is deceased as of the 1980's
Miss Liberty = Alexis Cole, Statesman's daughter, still alive and presumably well.
Ms. Liberty = Jessica Megan Duncan, Statesman's granddaughter (remember, he ages very slowly), our resident Atlas Park cutie and founder of Longbow (against her mother's disapproval).
[/ QUOTE ]
So, the Miss Liberty that used to be in Atlas was replaced by her daughter?
That's what I mean. The trainer was once Miss Liberty, now she's Ms. Liberty. So, when did the task of training new heroes in Atlas switch hands?
-
When did Miss Liberty become Ms. Liberty?
I know I remember her being a Miss. She's even listed in the wiki that way. But recently I noticed that her name in game has changed and I can't seem to find anything about when this happened.
Does anyone know?

Hi Forbin_Project.
Well, not really epic, it doesn't matter that they came via WP or ROTC, they have been in for less than 2 months and are O-1's.
Also, the Stripes for Skills program will let you walk out of AIT as an E-5, with a 4/6 year commitment. This could also be in the "less than 2 month" scenario.... but it depends on how long the AIT was or even if they had to attend it at all.
ROtc's could sign up with a NG unit while in ROTC and have the rank of E-5 while training with the NG.... this also counted as active duty pay time.... (sorry... but the name of that program escapes me).
Any way.... you can have a scenario were someone has less time in the service, with the same commitment and be of equal or higher rank.(I guess I should just said that first)

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? 'cause if it leaks to the VC he could end up an MIA and then we'd all be put on KP.

oh and ps... only 1 person in this thread has an earlier reg date than I do... and only by days for the person that brought that up...
[/ QUOTE ]
Note: Reg date means diddly squat. I've been playing the game since issue 1. I just didn't register for the forums until a couple of years later.
Likewise you could have registered right away, left for several years and come back with a sense of entitlement, hence your argument for the other side of this subject. I can't know anything for sure just looking at your forum reg date, and neither can you.

... who cares about teleport...
[/ QUOTE ]
I do. Teleport is the best travel power in the game if you can master it, which I have.

ill bet a good percentage of the people with long term vet rewards are not even the original account owners... how does that make you feel now :0
[/ QUOTE ]
I doubt it. Link me to a page on ebay selling CoH accounts and I might consider this to be a possibility. And if there are such accounts, that is against the EULA. They should and probably will get banned as soon as they're found out.
Even so, Vet Rewards should never be sold. I don't care what argument you use next. You're never going to convince me.

I always set my middle button to Follow in the Menu > Options > Keybinds section. There you just have to click on the keybind you want it to be and then click your middle button.
I also always set my side mouse buttons to strafe left and right in that same menu. I can't see how anyone can play without the side buttons anymore.

Not sure that would work. It's not like "reply" is a separate slash command; it's just a key shortcut that begins a chatline with /tell <nameofpersonwhojustsentyouatell>. It's still using the /tell command.
[/ QUOTE ]Currently, the effect of /reply is to pre-fill the text line for you. But unless their chat system is 15 times more convoluted than their power animations system, it ought to be a simple thing to send the /tell immediately upon using /reply <text>, than to just put the text in the chat box.
[/ QUOTE ]
The reply command still brings up the /t command for the chatline though.
[/ QUOTE ]Um... try reading what I wrote. I'm saying change the functionality of /reply, so that it isn't just filling the text box with the appropriate /tell syntax.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, sorry. Yes, yes, but then wouldn't you have to have a reply channel?
Otherwise RMTers would still have access to the /tell channel by using /reply. Assuming /reply added the person's name to the line of chat it would still leave it open to exploitation.
-
[ QUOTE ]
Isn't that what the Correct Costume toggle already does?
[/ QUOTE ]
No, when you are loading a costume that was created for a Male model onto a Female model or Huge model it doesn't load the costume at all. Same thing with any other model. Saved costumes will only load on that model.
I agree, the Save/Load system should be able to recognize the common costume parts between models and load them appropriately.
-
Sorry, but I must point out that "petitions" are against forum rules.
And it should stay Freedom. You can call it whatever you want.

That would give the RMT spammers a new way to bypass the limitation. All they would have to do then is send a tell to their trial account with their main account and then replace the name on the reply with whatever name they wanted to spam to.

also for all of you really got something smart to say...don't turn this into a personal issue cause this is just a game..i fight in real life and i doubt any of you kids i would pay attention to.
[/ QUOTE ]
Considering your complete lack of proper grammar and capitalization, who are you calling kids, squirt?
-
This is simply a form of Power Customization, except instead of customizing the colors of the effects you want to customize the damage type and animations.
I wouldn't hold my breath. Sorry.

Lorenz is already a contact though.
I would prefer they add a contact similar to blueside's City Rep. Place him or her in the Arachnos building in Port Oakes (where Base rent is paid) and move the Respec Contact in Port Oakes to the same location.
And we don't need to be able to call him/her either. Going to him/her the same way heroes go to the City Rep would be a good thing. More reasons for high levels to come back to the old stomping grounds is needed on the redside, IMO.

Doesn't Terra Volta also have Freaks?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, they can also be found hanging out on Valor Bridge in Independence Port.

[ QUOTE ]
Port Oakes is, IMO, the most annoying zone to reach once you out-level it...
[/ QUOTE ]
Got a Pocket D VIP Teleporter? If you do then Port Oakes is not a problem.
On redside if I am going for a single porter I would go for the far ends. A beacon to Mercy and a beacon to Grandville is the way I usually go. If I ever have to go anywhere else I can always edit the base real quick-like and change the beacons.

No, he means there was a free costume token handed out to everyone during the Christmas and Valentines events. It wasn't part of a mission or something.
[/ QUOTE ]
I know what he meant, but he's wrong. If the Tailor tokens were given as part of the event they would be listed in the event details on Paragonwiki. There are no Tailor tokens listed as a bonus for any of the past events.
And even if they did give out free Tailor sessions for the events like he said, that wouldn't help when you have to change back to your regular costume when the event is over.
My suggestion would.
-
Yes, since IOs don't expire that is a good way to go.
As you level up just use whatever level IOs become available to you. Upgrade them all when you get to 32.
Once you have 35s in everything, getting higher level IOs as you go is just gravy.
Good luck.

I see no harm in being able to voluntarily shutoff one's KB.
[/ QUOTE ]
But this was a question, not a suggestion. If you want to post a suggestion to this effect go ahead. You will get plenty of replies telling you why it is a bad idea.
As for the answer, it was given. It was no. You cannot turn off your Knockback.
-
Not really sure on that one. It sounds like the pop up that tells you that you are about to complete a respec without assigning all of your enhancements came up and you clicked past it.
Are you sure you moved those purples into your enhancement tray? You didn't accidentally cash them in for face value, did you?
The only other thing I could think that might have happened is if you accessed your second build instead of a respec.
