What is up with Sweet Tooth? Was it moved? Does it even exist?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sweet tooth is on western side of the warehouse it was under near a truck.
  2. Has the extra health from accolades and dull pain type power not counting toward the damage badges ever been looked at? Having Immortal is already insane that it is for 1 billion damage but the fact that most of the damage a lot of toons take never even counts for it makes it even worse and that much more unreachable.

NOTE: You can only earn the The Lord Recluse Strike Force reward once every *24 hours* This is by design to help prevent farming.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    That's not cool!

I'm officially so mad right now.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    we can't farm Hami either

    [/ QUOTE ]

Farm him no, do it more then once a day yes. The 24 hour is too servere. It should be 12 to 18 at the most if you want to limit farming. Hami can be done up to 3 times a day on some servers. Some people work varied schedules and will have a hard enough time trying to get together with friends just to run it once a week. For a lot of people doing it once on Friday or Saturday and once on Sunday is all that can happen. This change will not prevent powergamers from running it multiple times with different toons.
  4. Then why even introduce another means for griefers which goes against the game mechanics of a hold power at all? Does it add more to a challenge? HELL NO! All it does it make it a gamble on whether or not he is held. The change makes absolutely no sense at all. Yes Hami raids are snooze fest but what does that have to do with opening another door for griefers?
  5. Exactly, the BFD is the devs are giving griefers another option.
  6. The hold team doesn't normally spam heals since all does it increase the chance of people lagging out. It has been my experience of not just being single individuals but sometimes entire SGs hell bent on causing failures. The fact remains that by doing this the devs ARE opening it up for griefing that will pretty much guareentee a failure. In the past if a greifer taunted into the hold team and cause some deaths when Hami was not held to begin with it didn't matter as far as him popping.
  7. [ QUOTE ]
So far I haven't heard of a griefer griefing since the Hami changed, only hypotheticals of how much easier it would be. I'd like to see evidence that a griefer really can demolish the hold team in a way that wasn't previously possible just because Hami can fire while held before I pass judgement.

    [/ QUOTE ]

How do you not get it? Hami has only one attack which is an AOE blast. He continues firing while he is held. During the ATTACK phase while he is below 50% health if a griefer were to taunt into the hold team and kill some off then Hami will break free and pop.
  8. [ QUOTE ]
This topic is a ball of complainers and whiners crying about how Hamiden has changed. I only know of two attempted raids on Virtue since I7 dropped and both failed only due to a lack of participation. It hasn't been tried enough times for this to be much other than whining.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Gee aren't we swell? Going against the game mechanics and making Hami attack while held makes no sense. It adds nothing to the challenge. Only makes it a gamble of whether or not he is held. As well as opens raids up to griefers during the attack phase to get the hold team wiped out and cause a pop and failure. So how about you take your smug [censored] attitude elsewhere?
  9. It is more then 100 for sure. Killed around 130 something before I got mine, herostats counting. 150-200 easily.
  10. [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
Other than telling when Hami's held this is a fairly minor issue; if the taunt tank has a decently slotted taunt then it should be really hard for griefers to steal aggro. We had a SG try to grief our raid on Guardian a while back by starting taunt first, then dragging the aggro into the hold group, and while the griefing tank had Hami aggro we were unable to get it away from him.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Taunt enhancements affect only the duration of the taunt, not magnitude. It is indeed possible for a griefer to steal aggro from the aggro tank. In fact, it can be done accidently with Gauntlet from a tank that is just trying to get their hit in. I have seen it happen many times in the I4/5/6 hami raids. With the changes to aggro in I7, it may even be easier for the Hami aggro to be diverted then it was in the past.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That sounds great so even less holders then since tanks get holds in APPs.

    So - here it is.

    Added to the patch notes:

The Hamidon has been increased in difficulty. It is now capable of using one of its attack powers even when Held, Slept, or Stunned.

Evidently Hammy got a laser beam on it's head a long time ago but just now figured out how to use it.

The Mitos are AVs and are acting according to this patch note:

AVs/Heroes and Giant Monsters now ignore threat level damage multipliers for different Archetypes. They are still affected by Taunt as before.

    As for the drops? Bug.

    [/ QUOTE ]

So you went and took the one bit of end game PVE content in the game...and made it virtually unplayable and trivial to grief...undetectably.

this sucks. Do you people realize we are here instead of playing a game because we want to have FUN?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sorry are you asking for some thinking before changes?
  12. [ QUOTE ]
But of course, with increased risk, comes increased reward!

    Right, devs?

    ... right?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sure it will balance out they will just nerf HOs again.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Can this please be reconsidered? The potential for griefing a Hami raid has just dramatically increased with this change. Before, if hami was held, the hold team knew that they were relatively safe, even if the hold was dropped for a second. Now that is no longer the case. Any character with a taunt power can now grief the raid at any point. Even after Hami is held and being killed. And if a griefer does this when Hami is below half health it will cause a mito spawn and therefore a failed raid. I have personally witnessed griefers attempt to draw Hamidon aggro onto the hold team many times in the past. The attempt would fail because Hami did not attack while held.

In fact, now that I think of it, even a well-meaning tank who is just trying to get their hit in so they get a Hami-O could fail the raid if they attack during the hold phase. Again, please reconsider this change.

    [/ QUOTE ]

QFT. This will only cause more problems devs.
  14. One thing no one mentioned that also makes no sense is with the 15 minute timer and them being stackable taking the time to go around to each station will whittle the time down to nothing. So stacking the buffs is pointless because it only waste time.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
Did this ever get resolved anyone know?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Resolved? Need lorekeeper, first history badge. Why are you responding to a post that is 6 months old is the real question.

Edit: Nevermind realized you were responding to your own question and no you can not. Each unlockable contact is only for specific levels.

Couldn't agree more, most people do not even bother with bugging because it is a waste of time in most peoples opinions.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Which is a shame, because the vast majority of all the things I've /bugged get fixed eventually in patches down the line. /bug does work

    [/ QUOTE ]

My point is that many things went unnoticed even though they were bugged numerous times, ie ignored until they added more features. The disoriented mobs did not take notice until they added more of them, like flying groups which flew off at mach speed.
  17. [ QUOTE ]
You have an untapped resource, the players. Use it. And I don't mean just /bug, because we're all getting the distinct impression that 99% of what we /bug ends up in the trash.

Or I can keep nagging you, Cuppa, and the QA team until you all go flaming mad.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Couldn't agree more, most people do not even bother with bugging because it is a waste of time in most peoples opinions. Even opening petitions you get either working as intended or a carbon copy response which has nothing to do with what you posted. PMing CuppaJo gets results BUT it should not take her getting flooded with PMs in order to get those results. People have bugged many issues for months, mission rewards for missions that reward bonuses inside vs outside, the disoriented mobs which move at lightning speed, getting stuck in large elevators, (contaminated mission from Kalinda, Hess TF mission). I saw quality before quantity, stop trying to do so much at once. I7 was delayed in large due to so much on the table at once. It was bad enough that you added the level 40-50 content for villains but then you added everything else on top of it.
  18. [ QUOTE ]
That sounds like a bug and you should start recording your total hp vs. hp after crash so it can get fixed. It should be a repeatable value.

    *edit*

Has anyone verified there is toxic resistance in Power Surge (I don't trust the descriptions).

    [/ QUOTE ]

See now things like this is why the level bump SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO 40.
  19. [ QUOTE ]
Great, we may have just caused this to stay on Test for another week.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Wait, you mean they are still reading these?
  20. [ QUOTE ]
Wrong that's what I tested it to be. I ran into St. Martial with my lvl 40 Brute (1360 hp) with no badies around. I used Power Surge watched it crash and noted my 136 hp. (10%)

I don't trust the power descriptions, this was a controlled experiment by me. So unless I had a health tick kick in and raise me to 136 hp (after I set my info to appear ASAP) then I saw Power Surges crash to drop me to 10% of my health.

Just like I measured the end drain resistance in Static Shield to be 80%.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I ran it and crashed multiple times with no one around me and I had a sliver of health, not 10%
  21. [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
So, run Power Surge 50% of the time, and crash down to 1hp between each recharge? Yeah, no thanks =P

    [/ QUOTE ]

Power Surge's crash drops you to 0 end and 10% hp just like Unstoppable.

Overload (EA's) power drops you to 0 endurance.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Wrong that may be what the text says but from actually using the power it drops you to 1 hp.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
The last few hours of the RV event I was able to run 2 missions in Warburg with both my EM/Elec and my Elec/Elec, on relentless. I finished both within 4 minutes of each other….naturally em was faster of the two. But elec melee at 40 didn’t seem as bad in PvE as it did in PvP. I don’t think I’d ever go into a PvP zone with melee how it is. I mean regardless of being able to kill, over time, elec is just not an efficient PvP set at all. It may seem bad in PvE to some of you but I don’t really see that much of a problem…and I only took havoc, Jacobs, ts, and lightning rod. Also, each attack was slotted with two recharge as well as having hasten and lightning reflexes.

    *shrugs*

    [/ QUOTE ]

Single target damage, you know what is needed for bosses, elite bosses and AVs? That is the part that is lacking. My FM/DA brute can clear a relentless PVP mission in about 10 minutes to include zoning and travel time. So if you say that adding another 4-5 minutes on that then yes I say it is underperforming compared to the other sets.

Overall issues - too many holes currently to be a "good set"
    * no hp boost – Who cares really? Team with a /cold corruptor that has frostwork, covers that.
    * no self heal - Aid self…you can fit it in your build and be effective.
    * knockback/immobilize are too llimited – Imob will be the only problem you have if you take grounded alone and take something silly like jump kick. Lightning reflexes paired up wit h3 slotted hurdle or cj will give you all the mobility you need to counter any slow/webnade in PvE or PvP. Take web envelope and they will be on your level easy as that. Furthermore, KB is easily solved with acro.

    [/ QUOTE ]

As for power sink, it functions exactly like its blaster counterpart which is just fine.

Though I am disappointed with elec melee, I hold elec armor in high regards. I’m still rolling an /elec because I did well in PvP with SS and EM. Just have to pick one I want to roll….and I’d be ecstatic with either.

I was going to add that toxic damage is my only concern but I’ll deal with it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You completely fail to miss the point of the fact that you say combat jumping and acrobatics will solve the issue. Taking Leaping, Medicine, Fitness(optional yes but many will find that it is needed) limits your travel power for one and how many primary and secondary powers you can take. Also next time you quote someone do not type your own comments in the quotes because number one that person did not say it and it will confuse some and get the other person yelled at for something you said.

Another blow to the nuts you might say.

    • Lightning Rod: The Recharge time is now, correctly, 90 seconds and the cast range, which was inadvertantly changed to 90' last patch, is now back to the correct 60' range.

    [/ QUOTE ]
How exactly is this a "blow to the nuts"? The range was mistakenly changed during the previous patch. Now it's back to where it was before that patch, where it should have been all along. This is called a bug fix. Not a nerf.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Because the set needs some love and I don't see that happening.
