They said in the post they were going down at 10:00 eastern for 2 hours, or less if possible. In game, we got the Admin message that it was going down at 8:00 eastern for 4 hours, or less if possible.

Hi Djeannie!
Avatea said training room would be back after double XP.

You might also look here. If I recall correctly, Altaholic Monkey made some avatars for you and you might find them on that link.
-
My initial reaction is not to like it simply because it is different and it's making me work to do what I used to do by instinct.
I'm hoping the learning curve will be smooth and quick. -

Finally, I have a family thing this weekend, so I won't be available Saturday or Sunday.

Didn't schedule it because we thought you were busy.

It's cool. I got home earlier than I thought I would and checked in, just in case.
So when would be a good time to get together with PositronBot, Solo, and Damos? -
Did anyone fight yesterday?
I got on about 8:30 pm eastern and didn't see my team or anyone else in Pocket D. -

We expect to be taking the Training Room offline soon after Comic-Con . . . .

This build has no stealth (consider concealment and a +stealth IO), limited perception (consider +perception IO), insufficient KB protection (more IOs or acrobatics), and no escape (consider phase or hibernate).
Because of those limitations, you will be farmed by people you can't see who will knock you on your butt because they don't like all the debuffing you are doing. -
I always wanted to make a Father Time themed grav/kin, but lost my craving a bit when they introduced one as an NPC in the Ski Chalet.
Kin is always in great demand for teaming.
Grav is a little . . . odd. Propel, Dimension Shift, and Wormhole are very unique powers and need some getting used to, both as a user or as a teammate with one.
Propel is a very cool animation -- you summon anything, including the kitchen sink, and hurl it at people. It does great damage, but things are usually dead before the animation is done. Use it as the opening shot or only against hard targets.
Dimension shift is an AOE enemy cage or, a targetted phase shift, if you prefer. It's almost better as a griefing tool against your teammates since anything you hit with it cannot be damaged until the effect expires. It can be useful to neutralize a spawn when too many have been aggroed, but most players leave that power on the shelf.
Wormhole has a lot of critics as well, but it's a wonderful and unique power. It is an AOE teleport foe with disorient and knockback. Most of the complaints come from players who knockback npcs out of range of the rest of the team. But if you use it wisely to place groups in a corner, or to add a few more bodies just before you use fulcrum and a blaster unleashed a nuke, you will be loved.
Wormhole is also a source of fun. There is nothing quite like sending a large pack of skulls or hellions into orbit and watch as it rains men. -
If my memory serves me correctly, the rularu invasions also spawned rather high. I distinctly remember being in Atlas Park and having a portal open nearby with VERY purple conning enemies step out.
I was playing a tank, so I jumped in anyway and promptly got spanked . . . but I liked it!
I would like to see a return of the Rularu invasions and I think having it triggered off of one or more Shard TF completions is a great idea. -
ALABAMA BEDLAM!
(Sorry. My post where I came up with the name for a Praetorian Texas Justice was pruned and my digital Tourette's Syndrome made me type it.) -
Option 4 - Schedule all your matches against the other teams ASAP and report them.
While I love me some team PvP tourneys, I hate how they can drag on. My team (#3 I12 PvP) has officially fought Teams 6 and 5, so we need 1 - 4, 8, and 9. If any of those teams would like to schedule a match, post here your preferred date and time. Our team is usually all on from 11 to midnite weekdays.
If I have to pick one of the 3 options, I'm ok with either 2 or 3, but don't like option 1 all.
Finally, I have a family thing this weekend, so I won't be available Saturday or Sunday. -

Mutant Bonus Power: Secondary Mutation - You give yourself the same buff as the radiation emission rez power, including the crash, BUT you also morph into your choice of an Alpha Wolf, Coralax, or other exiting beastie. -
I'd be happy if we could just ride on existing vehicles. I've spent a long time trying to get on that blimp. Dang it! Let me on!
I've also tried to hitch rides on cars and trucks driving by. I still do, from time to time, even though I know I can't. I keep hoping that someday it will be an unannounced quality of life treat or an odd bug.
I like the idea of the temp power.
I could also go for a mission (safeguards, for example), that you jumped into a vehicle and it actually moved. So that instead of getting the load screen you would get a mini cutscene of the vehicle getting from here to there.
It may never happen, but I like to wish for silly things. -

What I don't get it why so many old people drive like 10-15 miles below the speed limit, right in front of me.
You're OLD, you don't have much time LEFT, don't you want to get as much done in the time you have left as possible? Don't you want to get to your destination before you DIE?
When I'm old, I'm gonna be driving like 100 MPH everywhere.

When you are 20, shaving off a couple of minutes seems like a great idea. When you're 80, not so much. When you're that old I think you stop thinking in terms of minutes altogether. "Will I get there today?" "Yes." "OK, that's all I need to know." -
I am hurt and disturbed by the suprising lack of fleas in these screenshots.

No. CoV is the name of the first paid expansion. The game has always been City of Heroes.
[/ QUOTE ]
uh wrong.
CoV was an expansion, but it was also a stand-alone game.
For quite a while plenty of players *only* had CoV, with no access to Paragon City.

Hence the birth of the horrid term: "expansalone."
