Quote:Although your solution is well intentioned and seems reasonable on its face, it would actually make matters worse. In order to get around this restriction, farmers would just republish their arc, over and over again, so that each farm would be repeated multiple times and avoid your diminishing returns penalty.
One suggestion I had was diminishing returns for playing the same arcs repeatedly:
For example, the first two times you play through an arc, you get the normal amount of exp. The third time, it's 80%, then 50%, then 25%. After five times the arc is played, you get 10% exp from then on. This is reset after 24 hours.
Instead of curbing farming your solution would increase the number of farms in the listing. -
I now read his words, assume that he means something other than what he says, and interpret that to mean that he agrees with me. For some reason, I find his posts eminently more reasonable now.

I thought the challenge was to have an 8 man RO theme-team -- like all fire/rads, or all emps, or all pinballs. Then it would be 8 alike vs 8 alike.
Not that I'm knocking the team. Those +4s were gone in the blink of an eye. -
Quote:Thank you for clarifying that. From now on I will assume that you mean something other than what you say. It all makes so much more sense now.
You know, the whole, "Nazis would exist without Hitler" thing shows how right I a about the difference between knowledge and understanding, because when I said "Without hitler there would be no Nazis" it would be assumed that you all would understand what I meant is not the exact words that I said. -
I think that all the different Marcus Cole's share a few character flaws, chief among them being a superiority complex and therefore a belief that he gets to dictate what is right and what is wrong.
On Axis Earth, I imagine that Cole sympathised with the efficiency of the Nazis and believed that the world would be better off if they ran it. Not too different from the Tyrant version. And really, not too far from our Statesman where he organized the world's greatest powers to protect his way of life -- which just happens to be an American way of life. -
If everyone did random rolls and placed them on the market, it would be better for the community as a whole. More supply and generally lower prices.
I'm not saying anyone should or shouldn't do that. It's entirely your choice. -
Best use: Decide what you want and need and then consult this chart to find the best odds.

Those names and the costumes crack me up everytime, even before the say anything. Actually, I find the names and costumes funnier than what they say in that dry robotic voice. -
I like them and tend to craft them when I can because you never know when you are going to need a ___(fill in the blank)____ power. But I feel the drop rate is currently too high.
I have had doubles of the same power several times and it's not uncommon for me to end up with 3 or 4 temp powers after an hour or two of playing. I like them all, but you CAN have too much of a good thing. -

I love the smell of flaming trolls in the morning. It smells like . . . Victory.

Beth I hear you calling, but I can't come home right now. Me and the boys are playing. And we just can't find the sound.

Zombie makes a good suggestion. As an alternative, you should be ready to run the event in multiple zone instances. When Peregrine Island gets filled and PI 2 starts you should have people ready to start the event in PI 2.

For a long time I've wanted an Animal Power Pool with: a headbutt, bite, animal senses (increased perception and a little defense), and stampede (kind of like ninja run and shield charge combined).

Quote:Each character gets all 5 enhancements. I am going to guess that you can only use 1 per power since five procs in a power that will also be slotted for damage and recharge seems a bit much, even at DO levels.
The five exclusive Enhancements increase the damage and recharge value of a character power and have a small chance to trigger an additional ability. The Enhancements and their additional abilities are: - Will of the Seers—Chance for minor psi damage.
- Clockwork Efficiency—Chance for minor energy damage.
- Might of the Empire—Chance for knockdown.
- Resistance Tactics—Chance for minor smash damage.
- Syndicate Techniques—Chance for minor lethal additional ability triggered.
Of course, you would probably miss a lot if you did slot all five into one power. -
I'm happy to see the promotion, but sad that I may miss out on new shiney things because I love this game so much I gave them my money at the earliest opportunity instead of waiting.

She's up to rank 35 from 41 when I last looked.
