Pinnacle . . . Protector . . . I knew it was another server that started with a 'P'.
-
Isn't Pinnacle the home of Ed Norton and the Mime invaders?
Also Justice isn't dead yet, it's only mostly dead -
They were arguing over whether the other thirteen things that didn't make the cut should have been included.
-
I have no problem with empaths using their blasts . . . AFTER all of their buffs have been handed out.
When I see the team buff bars and don't see any green, but see an empath blasting and healing, I cringe.
Buffs first, then attack, then heal if necessary. Buff again as soon as they are recharged. -
From zero to a billion in a week! Very impressive.
Thanks for the interesting experiment Fury. -
Funny, I thought that it looked grainy, choppy and angular. It did not inspire me to want to buy or play that game.
-
In order to get PvPIOs, you must PvP.
People have devised ways to farm these with second accounts or friends that don't fight back. -
Quote:Yes.wat would make a person rich quicker...+0x8 farming for purples or ticket farming and bronze rolls?
I find that the best path involves doing it all. Ticket runs, purple farms, and fishing for merits on TFs and story arcs. This diversifies your portfolio, protects you form odd swings in the market, and keeps it interesting by mixing up what you are doing and avoiding burnout.
I do my AE tickets for bronze rolls, sell the junk, use left over tickets for some common salvage, and bid for the rest. Then I'll go look for a TF or story arc while those fill. If I get filled up on inventory or market slots, I'll go play another character for a day or two. Either start a farm on my 50s or level up a lowbie.
I find it's fun and keeps the game entertaining by mixing up what you do all the time -
Lol. He'd be AFK anyway, so what's the difference.
Go, Team AFK Dads! -
Fourth and final guess:
901,234,567.
Thanks for the market lesson, Fury! It's been fun to watch! -
Where's the section on Rocking the Aura?

Fury, the hardest thing about the market is learning what's "good" to sell, what's a "good" price. Or perhaps hard is the wrong word. Learning what sells quickly for a good margin is the biggest time sink in being successful at the market. Anyone can do it. But it takes time to figure it out.
And frequently, once you figure out one good item, something changes and that once good item becomes much less profitable or even loss producing. -
Can I just get the guy's phone number and call it in, please?
*Hello? Yes sir, I know the rent is late again.
I'm sorry, I was in another timeline.
Hmm? Oh, there was this Roman guy that got amped up and needed to be brought back in line.
No, no, no. Not Roman like the Sopranos. It was . . . listen forget about it.
Can I just give you my credit card over the phone?
Thanks.* -
Quote:You missed my day 2 guess, which I inserted above. No one had guessed 927M before or after. To help people guess and not pick duplicates, I've tabulated all the valid guesses so far. If your guess wasn't on there, it may because:
a) You made more than 1 guess on a single day
b) Someone else had your guess earlier in the thread

Quote:I've run this through my Durakken TrueIntentions(TM) translator and came up with this:I don't mean so sound mean but if you think prices will go down...well you're not very smart.
Just looking at it it's pretty obvious that if you mainly play red side you have just got boned.
For blue side there is slightly more demand and slightly more supply so the prices shouldn't fluctuate any more than they already do... which is horrendous, but whatever.
For red side there is a massive influx of demand and supply so the prices, like blue side shouldn't fluctuate any more than they already do...
Here's the kicker though... Red side has less money and has generally lower prices and less salvage so what will happen is all red side items will be bought up right away for bargains as far as blue side is concerned while red side will still have less money and will have to pay more for the items thats they would be getting cheaper.
fortunately we can now transfer items and inf between characters thus meaning that this isn't so much of a problem and it's on short range...long range it just means that red side has had their money massively inflated.
Though this is a good thing because if they didn't do this someone would just go red side buy all the stuff and sell it on blue side earning huge amounts of profits for a while.
Hi Beautiful people!
It's me, your old friend, Durakken here to tell red side players to rejoice, for now you will have access to many more items and your magic salvage will sell quickly for a reasonable profit.
And you blue side players -- don't be blue -- because you just got a few thousand more players to play with! Your salvage costs will go down and your profit per sale will go up.
You don't have to worry if you are red or blue because everyone can buy and sell from everyone else and travel freely from Paragon City to the Rogue Isles and back again. And even if you have no friends, you can just send yourself e-mails and pretend that you have a secret admirer!
Life is great! -
I think posting in another thread about a topic that has already been locked is . . . .
Wait for it . . . . .

Quote:The Ocho, aka Moderator 8, has already answered your question and locked your thread dealing with this very issue. He asked you to PM him with further concerns. I suggest you do that and cease and desist further rants. If you don't, you may find yourself on the business end of the ban stick.
So if the Art Director can't answer then maybe The Ocho can?
Quote:The two character slot tokens included with the purchase of Going Rogue were intended as a nice bonus for players who picked up Going Rogue, and not as an incentive to buy the expansion, we think there are so many reasons to get Going Rogue already! I don't know if the number had been finalized when the website went live, but there was never any attempt to deceive and I'm sorry you took it that way.
For the record, the best way to get questions like this answered if you have real concern on this issue is to pm me directly. I don't answer every PM (I wish I had the time!) but if I notice a trend of similar questions I make sure to get the question answered publicly.
I'll pass your feedback on Alty, if you want to include more please pm it to me directly. Otherwise this conversation has served its purpose so I'll go ahead and lock it.
