    Elude is the problem... They should make elude have the same time limits as Strength of Will and make it unslottable with recharge. Also while in Elude your toggle defense doesent work while in the tier 9 so it wont stack and make the player unkillable.

    ITF Weekdays

    I have done an all VEAT and a all Sonic/Rad and Rad/Sonic ITF and they were a blast. Both blew by very easy, however the sonic blast with rad debuff ITF was so crazy how fast every thing dropped. with 8 rad debuffs I used shout and hit Rom for 1400 and it scorged. It was one of the best ITF I been on. I like the theme based ITF and I will try to form one after my vacation.

  14. I have seen some people ask to replace Conserve Power and while other say they like it and don’t want it removed from the set. I have an Idea that might please both sides.

    1. Decrease the recharge time 600s to 320s
    2. Decrease the +EndRdx from 119.2% to 60%, however make it able to slot End Mod Enhancements so we will can use set bonuses and increase the EndRdx%. This is to prevent the power becoming overpowered.
    3. Make the power able to accept Defense and ToHit Enhancement and have a base of 10% defense to all. This will help to fill some of the defense holes and this will be a Mind Link/Conserve Power.

    Or

    3. Make the power able to accept Health Enhancement and have a base of 40% HP. This will be a Dull Pain/Conserve Power.

    yeah, my original idea was actually for a new power that would give +regen per foe. i still maintain tha castle stole it and made RttC.

    My ideas
    1. Turn Energy Drain to a Drain Psyche type power
    2. Add +perception to energy cloak
    3. Add Psi and Toxic defense ( it doesnt have to be a game breaking amout... Just enough to work with)
    4. Increase the defense %
  16. I remember when I was young and I had a remote control car. When the batteries went low my car moved slow; however when you recharged the battery it moved faster and was stronger again. Why dont we do this to energy drain? I dont mean slow the attack chain of the enemy, but the movement only and speed up the EA's movement speed. Or turn it into a aura that sucks endurance like hotfeet does damage. Give people a reason to think twice about getting near a EA brute.

    Stone - Mud Pots/ -Speed, Damage
    Invul - Invincibility/ +Acc, +Defense
    Dark - Death Shroud/ Damage
    Fire - Blazing Aura/ Damage
    WP - RttC/ +regen, Tohit debuff

    Conserve Power, duh.

    Same reason they can't do a straight port of Electric Armor or Ninjitsu to Scrappers. They're not gonna give anyone 2 Conserve Powers or 2 Caltrops (for example).

    Dont forget the color change...They dont want red elec for the hero side it has to be changed to the same color as the hero elec blast.

    How about this. Keep patrons unrespec-able, but add a couple of APPs instead.

    As it is, all four Patrons offer pretty much the exact same powers to each AT, so what exactly would you be hoping from a respec out of them? They give you a free respec after the 1st portion of the arc.

    I didn't say anything about the amount of people in grandville. I just said many people have told me it's laggy for them. It was laggy when I had cable service, its still laggy even now on DSL Elite.

    No other area no matter how many people are in zone, even Cap's black market which is very crowded so it must be something about Grandville.

    As the the patron's, if they add APP's, or change or tweak anything even a single power they would have to grant a one-time patron respec to everyone that has done it.

    That may be the fly in the soup that is stopping anything from being done with them, or maybe there are other priorities and not enough time. I really couldn't say, and I'm not going to stress over it. If it can be worked on it will, in time.

    However being a Villain only player...I am not complaining. Just suggesting...there is a difference.

    You know after reading this entire thread, and several others, I have to say something:

    Villains-only players are the biggest bunch of crybabies I have seen in ANY game forum. If the developers truly hated villains, they would not make sure that the issues had stuff that both "sides" could use. They don't need to.

    They could stop all development of everything red side and devote 100% of their resources blue side, but they do not.

    Worse, all these calls of "Devs hate CoV" come before a single player has seen Issue 12 as the game is still not even to the closed beta stage.

    Whine moar.

    The developers might not hate self proclaimed "CoV-Only" players, but after putting up with all the whining in the last 3-4 free issues, I would not blame them one bit.

    Many CoV people are upset, because CoH side got the best buffing powers CoV has to offer. In return, CoV got some ok sets, but nothing mind blowing. (FYI only 1 Villain AT gets access to power boost, dominator's, and they don't have access to ally-buffing powers...).

    I want to hear what exclusive CoH players say after VEAT's debut. If the VEAT's are 1/2 as good as I think they will be....the same folks calling the CoV people "whiners' will be doing the whining and nerf-herding. I will happily remind them of posts like this...

    I would respectfully suggest that you focus your attention on places that really are badly out of balance, lest the forums become The Villains That Cried Wolf. If everybody continues to wail and gnash their teeth at perceived insults from the developers, then the real issues go unheeded. And there are issues: but "omg we gave away Thermal and we didn't get anything" isn't one of them. Villains did get something for it; it just wasn't what you, personally, wanted it to be.

    Then why don't you encourage the developers to consider Empathy as a villain set next go-round? That would be much more constructive, and it'd moderate the repetitive "devs hate villains" whine coming from the rest of this thread. The suggestion might even be heard — I'm sure the whining won't be much heeded. It's just background noise at this point, like living next to the freeway. Sooner or later you don't hear it.     Never said I hated the Devs. How can you tell someone you hate them and ask them to fix something? It will never get done. Its like calling your waiter at a resturant an insult and expectthem to not spit in your food. I know the devs have a hard job to do and with the negative feedback on the powerset release they might have second thoughts about set or add more in the future. We never know and I am waiting for the beta to determine the outcome.

    I know I am not the only one who is upset about the thermal/empathy issue and who is whining? I am merely pointing out my opinions and how I feel about the issue. Is that wrong? I thought that was what the forums was for. I would call my comments closer to venting than whining.

    I have a neice and nephew and they can whine like a pro.

I enjoy the villain content a lot more than heroes. I enjoy the fact that I have to play harder on the redside to score a win on PvP; however I do feel that their is a limit of how onesided it can be. The lack of powerboost on villain side for buffs and not having an empathy since heroes got thermal and cold is wrong. That is my issue.

    I Do love the fact that Corr's and MM's get Storm.

    2 - Propel (from Gravity... make some of the damage heal back like spectral wounds)
    6 - Solidify (see below for what it adds to minions)
    8 - Group Invisibilty
    12 - Spectral Terror
    18 - Agnise (see below for what it adds to minions)
    26 - Phantasm
    32 - Psychic Scream (From Dominator Psionic)

    You would have to tweak the minions powers... (more damage but have some of it heal back in time to keep the feel)
    Basic Minion Art would sorta look partially invised. Solidify would make them solid. Agnize would give them an aura.

    I would do something like this:

    Since Illusion is considered Psionic then I would do a set like this:
    1. Mental Blast – Range (Single Target)
    2. Minor Shadow – Pet Summon x3
    3. Will Domination – Range (Single Target)
    4. Mental Concentration (First Upgrade)
    5. Psionic Tornado – Targets AoE
    6. Phantasm - Pet Summon x2
    7. Group Invisibility – Team buff
    8. Phantom Soldier - Pet Summon x1 (Destructible)
    9. Psionic Awareness (Second Upgrade)

    *Minor Shadow
    They seem to have no desires or motivations of their own. Some people say that after they encounter them they experience a chill for up to several weeks. They can channel dark energy into focused blasts.

    This deadly attack unleashes a flurry of shadow punches pummeling your foe with focuses negative energy. Shadow Maul deals a lot of damage over a short period of time. Like most Shadow Punches, Shadow Maul can reduce the target´s accuracy.

    Midnight Grasp Melee, Smash/Negative, Very High Damage, Damage over Time (Negative), Foe Immobilize, -Accuracy
    A brutal attack that leaves the target exposed to dark tentacles that Immobilize and continue to drain the life of your foe.
    Night Fall Ranged (Cone), Moderate Damage over Time (Negative), Foe -Accuracy
    Unleashes a cone shaped burst of particles from the netherworld. All targets within the modest range of this power take negative energy damage and have reduced accuracy
