And how many people talk DIRECTLY to a Board of Directors and CEO of a company?
-
Oh, and, the Resistance oppresses people's freedom too--I've said it before and I'll say it again.
"Rebel or die" means about the same as "Serve or die" when it comes to tyranny -
Also, Divus, somehow I don't think nuking Neutropolis with the city's only power reactors, thus bringing down the sonic generators and letting Hamidon in, would leave many pieces to pick up.
You seem to think the Crusaders would just sit down and tweedle their thumbs once Cole is down and out, yeah, the anarchists are suddenly going to stop with all the chaos and anarchy once they have the upperhand... somehow I doubt that.
Plus, as I've said before, Arachnos and Longbow are likely to go to war (And it's possible Longbow could even attack Vanguard too if they arrived--since they already highly distrust Vanguard for their membership and that Vanguard would be arriving to help the people Longbow deems horrible villains)
If the Resistance wins, the Resistance will fracture into a civil war between the Crusaders and the Wardens, and a Arachnos v Longbow (and possibly v Vanguard, even though that would be up to 6 months later) battle will break out in the already vastly destabilized city, causing essentially mass death, chaos, and anarchy.
Cole's evil, sure, but those in the Resistance that aren't outright evil are naive and blinded by their own ideals to see the truth before them--the Resistance can't win, even if it does, Humanity itself loses.
It's going to be up to Primal Earth Heroes (Or Ex-Praetorian Earth Heroes who left for Primal Earth) to save the day as a third party, pretty much, which is obvious. -
Quote:You mean just like the Heroes of Primal Earth do without needing to form fascist dictatorships and carry out crimes against humanity on a daily basis?Quote:You've lost your right to speak until you can adequately explain how Responsibility Loyalists are guilty of Mass Murder by assosiation when the Wardens are innocent despite being associated with the Mass Murdering Oppressionists of the Crusaders.
EXPLAIN! -
Yeah, the thing, Toxa, with every evil thing that's on Loyalists and Cole's hand, he's keeping the people alive. The Resistance are pretty much going to make the world burn if they win, because most of the Resistance is Crusaders (At least, that's what I gathered)
So you're character is pretty much stuck between an evil guy gone mad over the stupidity of people, or an evil psychopath gone mad over a woman and willing to make the world burn to get 'er back. Is it any wonder your character jumps ship to Primal the first chance he or she gets? -
Ah... that link doesn't work.
-
They've specifically stated they're making especially difficult content specifically for Incarnates.

If I recall correctly GG also said it would be okay for Primal Earth to send Nukes through Portal Corp to wipe out Praetoria, solely because Praetoria is a dictatorship.
You know, someone really should compile a list of all of GGs comments like that, though it would be a big, big, biiig job. -
Again, consolidating fitness would basically just making people have even less slots than they had before Fitness become inherent, as they'd have to put more slots in just to have 1 enhancement for every type (I.E. 1 Health, 1 End Mod, 1 Run Speed, 1 Jump Height)
-
Yes, Loyalists are evil. So are the Resistance. But the funny thing is, without the Loyalists, everyone would be dead. Can't say the same about the Resistance...
-
That would force people to waste slots, though, to get the different benefits (You couldn't just do what some people do now and just throw a heal IO into Health and not bother slotting it anymore--since it'd all be one power)
But, I do believe that's how the Incarnate system is going to work. -
I looked over the post again, and he didn't say 3-4 per issue, but that they should have just announced 3-4, but that they would release at least 'a couple per issue' and that they may make more than 10 incarnate slots, depending on how it goes.

Well, according to a post from Positron, link below, he says something about at least 'a couple an issue,' so that people will be able to spend time getting them and, hopefully, the next couple of levels would be available when you do get them.
He also says they may go beyond 10 slots, depending on how it goes.

It wouldn't be KM/WP Tanker it'd be WP/KM Tanker!... but yeah, probably Brute.

Right now I'm level 22 on this guy and he dies... alot. May be because the two new guys I mainly team with are, well, new. But still, I figured I'd throw my build up here and see if I can make any improvements.

I never said he was a good guy =P I'm just saying he doesn't want everyone dead.
-
Eh, from his bio and what he says when you meet him, it seems that he's less especially power hungry, but that he truly believes that humanity cannot lead itself without being ultimately self-destructive, so according to his views, he'd have no choice but to lead.

Quote:As much of a cool guy Warrant is, he's more Rogue than Hero, he's just helping you because he hates Reese, and on at least one occasion sends in the PPD on a suicide mission to soften the enemy up a bit so you can go in and 'save the day'Which is a real shame, because he's the one person on the Power arc who's out at least as much to save people as he is to make a name for himself, if not more so for the people (which is probably why Reese hates him so much.)
Incidentally and interestingly, I just finished that arc with an undercover Crusader that let Reese kill the team and went after Ricochet. They actually give you different dialogue (Reese, who's Reese?) before the arc and Reese's speech when you beat on him is different (he's no longer fighting for the second chance "she" gave him, but instead just trying to be Top Dog again. There's no mention of the mystery woman that helps him if you're pure Power.)
