  1. Well, the 3D pop-up isn't a full figured one. When the room gets cold though...
  2. A glossy, 3D popup Gwen Snow Card?

Do you think "sinking" the eyes in more would give more expression? Then you could play with the brow a little more.

what don't you like about it?
  5. Art by David Nakayama and Christina Strain at Wizard World: LA, 2007. Homage to the covers of the Fallen Son: Death of Captain America story by Jeph Loeb.

    The art SG ?

I keep forgetting to sign on and join.
  7. Nice. Reminds me of the Jim Henson/Kermit the Frog poster I kept while I was growing up.

    My Deviant Art Page

I only put a few up there. My site gallery's faster and contains all of the art I've collected.

    The art SG ?

I crashed out that day I made Bayani and never signed back in. I've been so busy running my new guild in Vanguard, I haven't had much time to play CoH. >.>

    The art SG ?

Wait, what? What did I miss?
  11. I wonder if any of the other Omega team members come back too...Bayani's backstory is that his parents were also heroes who accompanied Hero-1 on that suicide mission. If there are some, I'd probably retcon Bayani's story a bit...in retrospect, tying Bayani to official canon so directly without permission from the powers that be seems a bit grandiose. Hmm, regardless I think i'll retcon anyways, though the idea of assimilated Hero-1 pummeling Bayani and saying something disparaging about Bayani's late parents would be interesting.
  12. Seeing as that my sketch was about 10 months late, he also put together a free sketch card. I put that on the page as well.

    Art: Subjective?

Heh, this reminds me of this time when alot of people were getting on Erik Larsen's case when he had some negative comment while he critiqued George Perez's art.
  15. This piece took forever to get. So long, in fact that I thought I was going to get screwed over. (I paid in cash, in advance) Anyhow, this is the last of the pieces that I commissioned at the New York Comic Con *last year*. I just got the scan today.

Mike Lilly has done some free-lance work for DC (Batman, Nightwing) and penciled Vampirella: Chronicles. Here's his pencils/inks take on Bayani.

    George Perez*
    John Romita Jr.*

(You have no idea how close I got to getting these two done)
  17. Hey that's some pretty good stuff, Projectionist. Do you have time for other requests?

I never intended to be in competition with anyone ever. I simply loved the style and character concept of TA and decided since I had a core love or art that I would get a couple pieces done. I believe it actually started with Celtic Bolt drawing TA first and it all blew up from there.

I think CB started out a lot of us on our art collecting :P

If anyone, ANYONE has the 'elite' gallery, it would have to be CB"s gallery of all the works he has done.

THAT is how a gallery should be

    [/ QUOTE ]

My first two pieces of work were done by David Nakayama. And a gallery can be anything the creator/collector wants it to be. Just because some of us don't aspire to be artists doesn't make our galleries any less than others.

lol I know this is gonna be a tough run guys but I am up to 59 peices I know it's nowhere near TA's two hundred and seventy-something peices but it's a start.

TA's got money on his side so he's wayyyy ahead of where I'm at and will be for quite some time but a freindly rivalry never hurt nobody.

While it's nice to have alot of art, there is something to quality over quantity. My gallery doesn't get alot of attention and I don't get alot of freebies. I am proud of the pieces I do have, and I think they're some of the best work posted on the forums. This current project I'm working on is really starting to come together too, and I hope it sets the bar to an even higher level.
  19. DA is nice and all but it seems to be rather slow. I was thinking of starting a webring that collects all the web pages of artists and collectors. I had a links page on my site but I took it down recently because I wasn't happy with the format.
