Really? Jade Empire's combat was fun buuuuuut kinda easy. I beat the game fairly quickly and didn't have a whole lot of trouble with any of the enemies.

As for the canon thing, well I don't think it's too bad set centuries before Episode 1. I think that's plenty of time to make an impact and become a legend that future generations will tell stories about.

hm. Looks interesting. The last bioware games I played were...Neverwinter Nights and Jade Empire. I wonder how they'll balance an action-oriented system with MMO aspects. Daunting task that's for sure. I'd be a bit worried about the class balance personally...I'm sure many folks would really prefer to be a Jedi or Sith and the impression I'm getting is that it's very Force-centric as a game. Hopefully the other archetypes will have plenty of carrot to draw interest, without becoming/pidgeon-holed into a support flunky for lightsaber-wielding monkeys. (No offense, Styph. =P)

Interesting but it's just cinematics. I'm curious to see what the actual gameplay will look like and how compelling the non-Force wielding classes will be to play.

Sorry for the delay. The new company I work for tossed everything including the kitchen sink at me right from the get-go. I think Planet Girl's the only one left who hasn't finished but I understand she'll wrap things up this evening.

This character was really tough to ultimatize because there wasn't a whole lot I could change and still have the new Mariner be recognizable.

"Ultimate Mariner"

Matthew Arnault was a deep-sea adventure who attempted to personally explore the bottom of the Mariana Trench in an experimental diving vessel dubbed the MARN-Seven. There, he discovered the remains of a lost civilization, inhabited by a a hermit who secluded himself within the sunken city through incredible mystical powers. A sea creature ruptured Arnault's vessel causing Matthew to nearly lose his life. The hermit used his magic to evolve Matthew into a creature who could survive the depths of the Mariana Trench before he lost his life to the sea creature. Matthew now explores and defends Paragon's shores against threats from the Rogue Isles as the Mariner.

On a Saturday! It's ok. I just want to catch up to everyone else at the office and the best way to do that without making things worse is to use my spare time.

Honestly, I think having all of them on one sheet isn't really all that hot. When you do that, the dpi of the image ends up being small and details like textures get lost when the artist zoom in. I know folks like to toss all their references on one sheet but in the end, they usually just end up having a really busy collage. Best bet for reference shots is to keep it clean, simple, organized.You only need three hi-rez shots to showcase your character, a headshot, front, three-quarters turn, and a back shot. Send me a PM with some times you're free and I'll take a few for you and show you what I mean.

...hm. Channeling the wrong show this morning.

There are instructions on Ownage's FAQ on how to get a 3-d render, which is using a program. I personally don't have the time to mutz around like that and would rather work a few hours of overtime to hire an artist who can do it properly. I'm planning on having a third party render something based on photos. I think the direction I want to go with a Bayani figure will be very anime-influenced in style as it'll be easier than a more realistic stylizing.

Bummer Fed. =/ I prepaid for a year and got that three month bonus so I've still got 12 months or so left. ^_^
