Quote:O.oThis was really quite a nomtastic showing, everyone, and it hurt my little kitty brain trying to pick the bestest one, but here goes:
1. PyroNympho
2. U-Naught
3. JohnnyKat
4. ChristopherRobin
5. Juggertha
6. Shia
((If ChristopherRobin had had a chance to colorize his picture, he'd have been a shoo-in for the top three. Yes, I am *that* transparent!))
(*huggle pounces ChristopherRobin for including her in his contribution, and for the beautiful shading in his work ... then sproings after a butterfly which has somehow flitted into this thread*) -

*picks up a donut and munches* hola.
-
Hm...nice range of artists who do regular CoH work.
-
-
*passes through, waving hello to Mrs. Top Doc and Top Doc* It was fun seeing you at the M&G! Grats on the headset!
-
My global list got wiped out a while back. It's still @Bayani
-
*shrugs* It's a workshop, not a "Pinoy Cave" or the "Fortress of Filipinoness". Not everything he does or has needs to scream tradition.
-
Well..Mr. Medina actually took time to read Bayani's biography on virtueverse and took note of the following statement... "Under his father and Red's tutelage, Bayani has developed into an expert in hand-to-hand combat. Bayani's unique and highly adaptive system of martial arts draws a wealth of techniques from several different fighting styles including Escrima, Kobudō, Iaidō, Wing Chun, and Karate."

Quote:Well, it was extremely unrefined when I finally got the piece back. If you look at the original: http://angbayani.deviantart.com/art/...eave-140551720 you can see that there were alot of pieces that were over-simplified or just unfinished. (Like Kim Paler's armor, the spider-arms, the robots) That's just the original artist's style, I think. Stjepan is a digital painter so he just lays things out in pencil roughs before he paints over the lines.I'm really diggin that piece with, Kim Paler is it? That's probably one of your best pieces I've seen. The rendering is just fantastic. Love the attitude as well. Is this all there is, or is there gonna be color added later?
I originally hired two inkers to basically finish the piece and get it ready for coloring but after waiting for about... 12 weeks for each artist, neither one started. I couldn't wait much longer so I decided to go with Vrykon to basically paint the piece. He's been working on refining the linework before he actually adds the colors. It's been neat working the latest crop of artists I networked into meeting; they're all aware that their work is going into the ashcan comic I'm putting together and noticed the other pieces going into it, so they've been hellbent on outdoing each other. >.> -
*waves and sips coffee from his new Paragon Studios mug and listens to music on the NCSoft iPod nano he won on Saturday night*
Hola, folks. -
Weird. Hey, Xanatos, add me too. We have to catch up sometime.
-
Sure sure. *eyerolls, then widens in alarm*
Hey...what do you think you're doing with that straight razor? -
Maybe the marketing ninja got to his entry before it posted.

Crazy wonderful weekend and I would do it again in a heartbeat. So I wanted to say hello again to all the wonderful people I met and spoke to this weekend and I hope we can do this again!
(Yes, I talk entirely too much, even in text, but if you spoke to me in person this weekend, this is probably not much of a stretch of logic.)
Thank you, every single one of you, for being loyal, passionate, opinionated, and dedicated. You guys are the reason I do what I do and why I love this game so much. It was truly an honour meeting all of you.
War Witch -
ty ty everyone.
And no, Bayani isn't going to shave his head and be Vin Diesel for you, VexXxa. -
I logged out of dA on Firefox and logged back in. It seems to be working fine for me now. I had the same issues all day yesterday.
-
My Global's @Bayani. I didn't catch most people's globals while I was there, so feel free to drop me a note and say hi. I should jump servers a bit more often anyways.
-
1) JohnnyKat
2) Pyronympho
3) Shia -

It was a good turn out for both the panel and the meet and greet. =)
*plays around with his shiny new iPod Nano* -
Quote:Yep. Monitors. Bayani doesn't have extremely high level equipment really; at least not on par with a certain caped crusader with far too much money. Mostly to monitor news feeds and security cameras placed around various construction sites.
I am really liking that shot of Heritage man. The Dojo/high-tech computer room (I am guessing those are wall mounted monitors but I suppose they could be paintings or diplomas or something else) would make for an awesome man-cave.
Thanks for the comments, folks. -
Whoa. Johnny brought his A game to this month's theme.

Quote:All on the account of bewbery. =P Finished pencils for the Heritage sketch. That second one is coming along nicely! I think Bayani looks a bit too smug in the first one though :P
The last one made me check to see what the most fav'd Larissa art was http://anathematixs.deviantart.com/a...rissa-54490628 Won with 607 favs. *sticks out tongue at Bayani*
