Some of the americans have worked out that they think the trigger is converting salvage into a costume slot.

Logged back on just now and went to see Granny Beldam in Nerva to unlock a costume slot on one of my Brutes, but no Zombie Apocalypse happened when doing so. Of course, somebody else might have done the same thing shortly before I did, so it could have been on a timer or something. -
Thank you very much everyone! Had an enjoyable day and cake overload.

Happy belated birthday! Hope you had a fantastic day!
(Sorry for being so late, but as my visits to the forums tend to be somewhat irregular I only found this thread just now.)

And as for Jack, I think it'd be a little better if the spawn chance went up 10% each time - like defeat Eochai once, 10% chance Jack spawns, Defeat Eochai twice, 20% chance Jack spawns, and so on - so that you'd only have to fight Eochai max 10 times before Jack showed up.

Excellent suggestion! -

Anyway: we've extended the event by 2 days here to cover for the shakey start to the event. It will be finalising on Wednesday morning, so there's a couple more days of trick or treating and Apocalypse's to come yet

If I may be so bold as to pose a question ...
I seem to recall that one of the rednames wrote that it is in some way or another possible for players to trigger a Zombie Apocalypse, just as a Rikti Invasion is triggered in a random zone when somebody completes the Lady Grey Task Force.
Now, in my humble opinion it would be a bit pointless to implement such a feature if the Zombie Apocalypses by design were to be limited to running continuously during the Halloween Event, so am I right in thinking that it might indeed be possible to trigger a Zombie Apocalypse in a random zone even after the Halloween Event has ended ... ?
I don't know if you're allowed to tell, but I figure it can't hurt to ask. -
Welcome back, FE!
I believe the preferred channel for for teaming up and do Strike Forces and Trials and stuff is Defiant Events. -
Groovy. Time to bring out the twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. You can find it in the sporting goods department.
Hail to the king, baby. -
Congratulations on a Dominating level 50, Sombra!

Congratulations on your tenth level 50, Defcon!
(Oooh, Deja vu!)

Well, have fun over there ...
(But as you're likely going to a server which tend to be deep into the red even off peak-time, during a lull, and after the release of one of the most hyped-up MMO's in recent history, you're of course welcome to come back here whenever there's an event going, on or after the release of Issue #13, causing the server to be near permanently greyed out. Even Stalk-obot spent suspiciously much time on Union after the release of Issue #12, and the server balance wasn't as skewed then as it is now.)

Congratulations on your newest level 50, Defcon!

Something really weird happened last night when I was in the Midnight club.

Speaking of weird, here are a couple of strange things that have happened to me recently ...
My Plant/Thorn Dominator somehow managing to hit herself with her own single-target immobilize, Entangle, while on a Lady Grey Strike Force --> [clickie]
My Bane Spider jinxing the team royally when asking people to stay close together in the faint hope of spawning a Heavy Assault Suit on the last night of the Invasion Event --> [clickie]
Que team wipe ... -
A bit late, but what the hey ...
Hope you had a happy cake day! -
See you, and hope you decide to come back one day.

Kudos to the customer service peeps! In all my dealings with them since, oh, around Issue #9 or #10 or so, they've been friendly and helpful and at times unbelievably quick to respond!
