I must admit that the only reason I have been specifically working towards them (and the accolades) is because CoH has lost it's shine for me at the moment. I am hoping i14 will improve things for me but I am tending to log in only to move log out places at the moment lol

Following a break of a month from CoH I logged onto my main to a shiny new Day Job badge taking my grand total to 5 following a mthodical logging out regime! Following this I was wondering how the general community was getting on with these pesky badges!

Not so much the muffin roasting per se, but more the paperwork that goes with it. There will have to be all kinds of Health & Safety risk assessments carried out, Hygiene certificates to arrange for on street vendors etc. Just too much like hard work for a few muffins. Now, if it was a roast meats vendor - that would be worth it!

Much as it will probably get lost it the overall postiness of this emovtive theme and thread for those of us who have had CoX providerelaxation time and enjoyment over the years, just wanted to add my best wishes to GR/Alex - I hope your VR payment is a damn good one and give Kerensky a nudge - see if he can get you in anywehere decent where some of us can bump into you again!!!

Some of the SSTFs are soloable arent they? Could someone hint at which ones are feasible to solo with a Fire/Fire tank!

I have the same problem with TF/Trials. I love doing them as they provide hours of entertainment but I play sporadically and cannot team to do them. It would be ideal for me if they were soloable so I could complete one ove a period of a few weeks! The challenge would still be there as you could have bigger then usual mobs. Alternatively creating a few 'solo trials' would be good as a change from the usual day-to-day grind!

Getting Stamina is probably one of the best bits of advice new players can be given. Sure it isnt a vital necessity on all builds but in my experience it takes a while to understand the game well enough to be able to play successfully in a staminaless build. Sadly I have never managed this and all my alts have and rely on it lol

Not sure - it is a good idea if you can slot interrupt time enhancements into it though. Then again mine is fully slotted with recharge, damage and accuracy lol

EB's do tend to be a pain in the [censored]. From what I remember (it's been a while) I opt for the BU+AS+DA - Placate - AS+DA - Placate etc etc. When you get to 38+ it is a lot easier because you get the BU+AS+DA+Soaring Dragon+Golden Dragonfly+Placate etc. Even for EB Freak Tanks it only takes a handful of goes to defeat - especially with Red Insps too!

I never mastered MM villain-side and for some unknown reason I cannot play Scrappers. Strange since I love charging into battle but despite trying most (if not all) the sets I never get any enjoyment from them. Blasters I only enjoyed AR/Dev which I levelled to 50, Defender I only enjoyed Emp/Rad and havent played her since hitting 50 and I have a lvl 50 Fire/Kin troller who I don't enjoy playing.
I loved my Nin/Nin stalker but no longer play her and Fire/Fire tank remains my all time favourite alt

I thought you could take his life - just not his freedom??? At first when I started playing lvl 20 and 30 were a milestone for me to work towards getting a cape and an aura. Now I have been playing a while it is more of a chore - so much so that on a lot of my alts I havent bothered with either! -
IMO the Television arc was one of the best Villain-side arcs going. It was great fun - Freaks, Freaks everywhere... and the little funky Radio that I stepped on in error and quickly learned to hide from

But surely his reference to the 'monopoly' was the fact that CoX is (currently) the only Superhero MMO out there and the reference to the 'low market share' was relating to the fact that even as the only superhero MMO out there CoX has a considerably smaller share of the MMO market than WoW for example?

Lol tbh I wasn't looking at you Lion - everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to voice them here - regardless of whether other people agree disagree or whatever. Sadly if your opinion is not appreciated there are people who are too quick to jump on said person and tear them to shreds.
However, this being a forum these things will happen, it is just sad that it seems to be happening more and more often!

I kinda like the PvP flag idea so PvP could be done in pretty much any zone, but then again I wouldnt want to be stood in Atlas sorting out enhancements and get battered to death just because I had left myself 'flagged' for PvP while I did some tweaking

I upgraded my GFX card a couple of weeks ago and got the Xfx 9800GT - It cost £120 and runs like a dream - CoX on Max GFX etc isnt a problem and runs fine in Vista Ultimate. Only thing I would mention is that the damn thing is HUGE - had to have a reshuffle in my base unit but then again I only have a mid-tower. Does also run SLI should you want to get another but most software I use doesnt support SLI properly anyway!
