I now have a (relatively) new TA/A Defender - she is great fun and I really don't know why I didn't build one sooner!!!

Stupid MA was raiding my dreams last night - but for some strange reason there were stormtroopers in it...

In fact if you look at the 'Problem with the log in' in the tech issues section several people have exlained this better than me lol

Are you definitely trying to log into the EU version? Usually you would find it will not accept your login details if the updater has sent you to the US CoH.

Must admit I do love RotP - as a final power it is good to have and should death occur mid-mob it gives some smug satisfaction of taking out a few more when you rez!

For shame login servers!!! Ah well - time I went to bed anyway lol!

Happily teaming away when at 12.40am (UKtime) the game kicked me out an I coulfnt connect to the login server. Not only that but the EU website appears to be dead also! Anyone else experience this or was it just me being unlucky?

I always struggled herding - I get carried away with 'just one more Fire Sword Circle' then there appears to be no-one left to herd. It is all good fun!

I would dearly love to see a better search system implemented - it is painful asking every member of a team if there is space for a lvl xx defender to get a load of replies saying 'Sry team full' and you just know you have asked everyone on the same team

A mate at work pestered me to get it and told me it was the best game ever! I was getting divorced at the time and had nothing better to do so I subsequently bought it and have now been here for 30 months. Sadly the mate who got me into it no longer plays lol

I am currently enjoying my TA/A defender - a scientists attempt to remake the legendary Cupid in female form but with a nicely modern tech-type name of Qpd...

Having looked at this I am now more excited about MA than I previously was. It looks like there is going to be a great deal of flexibility which I was not expecting - even me (with my limited time online) should be able to produce some fun stories!!

I have recently created an Archery/TA defender I am really enjoying but having never really played either powersets before can anyone give me any build advice or point me in the direction of a good guide?

If the game flagged to Lookg for Team by default then presumably people specifically not looking would change it accordingly therefore making everybodys life easier. People looking to join/srart a team would know who isnt looking for a team rather than who might just have not changed their status.

I hold our less than technically advanced seach function responsible for everything in this entire thread

The only blaster I have enjoyed so far is my AR/Dev blaster because I found something deeply satisfying about sitting on a rooftop picking off mobs

If that player is flagged as Grey or Red, you should not even presume to expect a reply.

Quite true, but this onl really works if people use it properly. There are a lot of times when people do not change their status after logging on to 'Looking for Team' or they might not be bothered either way so don't change their status. If teams were built solely from people looking at the key colours the game would die because it is extremely rare to see more than 5 people in any given level range set to Looking for Team...

I had mixed feelings about this thread. I know how annoying it is to be trying to join a team or create your own team and on some occasions you do get the feeling you have probably and unintentionally sent a tell to eberyone on a full team asking for a spot but there is no way of a searcher avoiding this until such a time as the search is updated to show people on full teams / teaming together etc.

On the flipside however although i do try to reply to any tells i get there are occasions where i am afk/at tailors/base editinf when i dont see a tell for ages, or even if i am busy fighting or the team is chatting a tell may slip through the net!

I suppose this is one of those things where you have people who will usually try to reply and those who dont for reasons of their own!

We really could do with some changes to search as detailed/begged for in many other threads which would probably make quite a big QoL benefit for people on both sides of the debate!!

All future EU meets will be held in the US. Since people had to travel to get to them anyway - they may as well travel somewhere warm and sunny
