I have one villain and she is a stalker. I really couldnt live without AS/Placate. I know this is not the only way to play stalker, but imo it is the most effective way. At lvl 20 I only have access to 4 attack powers aside from AS and they just seem so weak compared to hero AT's I have played. I have a lvl 20 dark scrapper who can pummel a yellow minion into the ground within 30secs - the stalker fighting without AS takes over a minute with great risk to health.

If you are about on Union villains I have a lvl20 stalker who is always happy to team later on at night

There will always be a die hard band of complete muppets of CoX - as has been said just ignore them. I have been on some teams with complete t***p**s who are rude, arrogant and strip everything that is fun from the game. These are teams you leave in search of better times! Tbh my Global List has been my faithful companion since I started and I still team/chat with a lot of the people I got to know when first playing. This always gives me a regular chance of teaming with some good people who play for fun and have a laugh together! If you find even one person you enjoy teaming with add them to your server friends as then you have someone around your level to team with for a fair while. Stay a while - if you are on Union look me up on @Golden-Phoenix - if you are on Defiant I can't help you - I have nothing ont here yet

Find a very dirty sirface, spray Dettol Anti-Bacterial Surface Cleaner on your hands and place on dirty surface. This will then create two 'clean' handprints...

If I can get on this evening I have a toon at the right lvl and so am happy to get it for you - if you still need it then look for either Immortal-Phoenix or Kim Bladedancer prob around 8pmish.

I will def be on after 10.30pm tho if I cant get on earlier

So what we really need is the AS improvements mentioned in another section (AS scales up for AV's etc (1 shot AV ftw )) and lets throw in an AoE AS - that would be SO funny!!! lol

AS is awesome and all, but even so I always just felt like a fragile, weak brute in bigger teams.

Which is too bad because I really like the concept of the stalker!

I think you have hit the nail on the head here! In a team I enjoy being able to pile in and make my fair share of kills - but with a stalker that seems so much harder. It may be because I have only so far been able to get small teams but this is a pretty accurate way that it feels to me

Tbh although i love teaming on all my heroes I have found my stalker to be better as a solo'er. I usually get about 1 level an hour (mid teens) which will obviously get slower higher up - but also if I play for an hour before I go to bed (around midnight) I don't feel guilty for ditching my team after a couple of missions!

I think Harlequin will be my 'Antisocial Alt' for when I really can't be bothered talking to people or it is too dark to type with any degree of accuracy lol!

I have recently rolled a Nin/Nin Stalker and as my only Villain she is good fun to solo. I am however, more of a team player enjoying the general humour and conversation in teams - not to mention the good xp!

Sadly I have been struggling to find teams for my little stalker and so far she has had to do the past 3 levels all alone Team requests and tells are either ignored or flatly declined - are stalkers really thart hated by the teaming masses or does she just need a bath?

I know a fire/fire blaster who does tha family farm and has a pretty good success rate so I can't see you having a great problem with Arch/Fire tbh. Fire dmg is usually good enough to see you through and RoA is a fantastic 'kill all' power

Best thing to do is start building a couple of blasters - like Dark said chances are by lvl 10 you will know if you enjoy it - thats how I found it anyway!

After creating and deleting Dark/Fire/Ice/Energy/archery and Electric blasters of various cominations I finally had a go at Assault Rifle/Devices and loved it immediately - there is something hugely entertaining for a guy to be able to sit on a rooftop and snipe at people lol

I havent really done any PvP as such except self defence whilst mooching through RV. I have decided that I would like to use my lvl 50 AR/Dev Blaster for PvP but I havent got the first clue how ro go about respeccing him for it.

Any builds/help you can all give would be great

I agree with Canine - I have played with a couple of awesome teams these last two days with Peakey-Phoenix and managed to get from 32-36 in two days. 8 man teams, mixed AT's - the xp flies by! All teams I have jioned lately have been great fun - we have all had a laugh - chuckled over team wipes, dusted ourselves off and wiped again

You could ditch tactics in favour of Speed - i too love SJ too much to lose and so sadly tactics was dropped from my build

So if I am running CD and using Stealth IO in PvP how visible am I? On a scal of 1-10 (10 being Hidden Stalker - 1 being Fire tanker running blazing aura with flourescent pyjamas on)

I am currently working my AR/Dev blaster up to 50 with the intention of using this as my PvP alt. I have Cloaking Device and a Stealth IO slotted - would I need anything else to make me pretty much invisible in PvP? Someone has suggested I would need to take something from the Stealth pool also?

Does anyone have a good AR/Dev blaster PvP build as I have never really done PvP before

... easiest to solo?

I have never played MM before and was wondering which powersets contained most fun and also which is easiest to lvl solo as I have always had problems teaming on CoV?

Some good points here, but I have to agree - there are [retty much 3 pieces of rare salveage that are worth money - Hamidon Goo, Prophecy and Langean Soil. I will go out of my way to hunt CoT or find Carnie missions just to have a chance of dropping something worthwhile! Standard/Tech salvage if OK at low lvl as the pittance it makes is enough to buy enhancements - but at lvl 50 when you are trying to kit out with Numinas convalescence at a total cost of around 60mil inf, tech salvage becomes a nuisance! If some recipes were amended/new recipes added to make use of Rare Tech in the way that Rare Magic is needed then the value of these would increase surely?
