One I was going to use then I deleted the alt was 'Psylent Scream' - a Psi/Psi Blaster...

My first and fave alt if Fire/Fire tank - she is damn tough considering the perceivd weakness of Fire primary. Like MoX said Healing Flames can be recharged in 10 secs and my opening combo of Combustion, Burn and Fire Sword Circle usually takes care of anything below lvl 52 boss.

Could be one of a couple of things. Make sure you arent at the exit doors - daft as it sounds i have done it many times! Otherwise wait for the doors to shut then click on then

I have lvl 50 Fire/Fire and a lvl 9 Stone/Fire.

I decided to try the amazing defence of Stone Sets with the beautifully crafted melee damage of Fire Secondary So far I am loving it - although saying that I have rerolled this same alt 3 times over the past year - never getting past 16

So whats changed with Lusca since i12 came out?

Evie your idea is a damn good one. People play in inv for more XP - the penalties should be higher too - this way people get a choice how the choose to play - easy route on Heroic with minimal debt, or all guns blazing on Invincible with associated debt increase! I would put this on the suggestions board and link it back here so there is a chance it would be seen by a Dev

It's good to see another PoV in this - I would be happy to see debt removed - badges and all - after all - there have been other badges that are unavailable to a lot of people (1st/2nd anniversary etc) and the debt badges could be replaced with 'Defeated X Times' badges with badges awadred at 100; 250; 500 etc etc

I am glad it isn't just me who feels that debt has become a pointless aspect of the game I just felt it a shame that debt went from being 'Oh God No I'll Never Level Now' to 'Meh' in a short space of time

Lol Storm I have done that a few times with Golden . Even at lvl 50 the debt cap took time to work okk - and like you said Mr Q it gave you a reason to play your lvl 50. I went through a cycle with Golden running a few missions, dying, working off debt, dying, working off etc etc and it was fun! I wholeheartedly agree I would love to have the old debt system back!

I was chatting online with a mate who hasn't been on COH for a few months and were were discussing the changes over the past couple of issues when the subject of Debt arose.

I remember before issue 11 debt used to last you a good couple of missions and was something to be wary of. At the time it could be annoying but it made you take more care of your health but it was something to celebrate when you finally worked it off. Many were the times in a team when some happy soul would shout 'WOO - DEBT FREE!!!' and it was a sense of great joy that finally all earned xp was yours once again. Since the changes to debt if you die debt tends to be gone before the next mob has been defeated. The only time debt last more than about 5 minutes is if the team wipes and you all have to run back to the mission from the hospital.

This seems to make debt more of a token gesture so people can still (eventually) get the badges rather than a penalty for being careless enough to die in the first place!

Is this just me being cynical or do others feel this way too?

Shields should be interesting and base improvements would be awesome to see - other than those two I will happily wait and see what the future holds

Would shields be a very end-heavy set though due to the fact that heroes will be lugging a hunk of metal around with them all day...

For shame GR, spoiling our fun! How are people supposed to know who to abuse if we don't name and shame??? Your removal of the name could result in the wrong person receiving abuse and getting offended.

Thanks guys! I have highhopes - Igenerally havent had that much fun on CoV as it hard work teaming with my Stalker. I know there are some differences between the two but Golden has been my all time fave alt so I am sure Dragon-Phoenix will provide just as much pwnage in the Rogue Isles!

Hi Guys

How do these two compare against each other? My first and always most favoured alt is Golden my Fire/Fire tanker for sheer power and destruction. I have always had issues with CoV and struggled with a few alts for a few poor levels till i got bored. I rolled a Fire/Fire Brute last night in the hope they would be similar to play but now I am not so sure. Does anyone know how well they compare?

I loved Fire Melee on Tankers, I love Fire Melee on Scrappers, I am trying Fire/Fire on a Brute to see how it compares to the two!

I am happy to accept Blind invites although I do check the level of the inviter before accepting. As far as invites go I always ask before inviting because I know that although it doesnt bother me a lot of people dont like it Each to their own!

I was so happy to see Fire/Fire on scrappers - I love my Fire/Fire tanker and she was awesome to level so I started all over again on Paragons Flame at the weekend. Fire FTW

Gratz Globey - I was hoping to take that accolade myself but sadly my only Villain is lvl 27 so I havent even started VEAT yet

I have a fire/kin troller I made 18 months back and got her to 50 recently. She is the only troller I have enjoyed - mainly cos I think imps are great to watch rampaging through a mob!

I also have a fire/fire tank though and she is awesome for crowd control - well... not so much control as destruction

Surely making all the 'Get data from x dimenion' missions timed would kill off a lot of farming?

I love good names on alts - one of my favourites on Union was Cher Nobyl - my Fire/Rad troller - but I didn't enjoy the powersets so she got deleted

Corporeal Punishment (AR/Dev Blaster) also caused me some amusement with the amount of comments I got about mis-spelling Corporal...

Cool thanks for the info guys - I must admit on most alts I bind Numpad0 to my self heal - my pinkie is usually well employed throughout a night of CoH lol

I am currently amusing myself (NO - not in that way) with a lvl 20 Stalker, and am considering rolling a Dominator. I would like some kind of concensus as to which Dominators are most fun to play. I play purely for enjoyment and relaxation and the only way I can level an alt is if i find it good fun to play!

Also - when teaming with Doms I have seen 'Domination' randomly appearing above mobs - what exactly is that and what does it do for the Dominator?
