  1. level it to 50- change sides - do patron arc - get dark blast, moon beam, soul storm and shadow meld - that and mog and you have 4 ranged atks and with regen mog and sm pretty much never going to die..

    I beleive you are incorrect - you can be in a phased state for 30 seconds I have seen blasters hiber then hit phase as they run away to escape as. Then once that 30 seconds is up you are in a no phase state. I don't have a dual phase build so I cannot confirm but I see this all de time.
  3. 1. Since the pvp code changes which introduced travel supresion, heal decay and dimished returns were such a success in pvp, when will they be implemented in PVE code to smooth the experience across zones?

    2. Is there any possibility of getting arena settings that would allow PVP players to use the game mechanics from pre i13?

    3. Will anyone ever look at base raiding as it has been disabled for several issues now?

  5. I would like you to remove TS, HD and DR from pvp - if we call it the War Witch effect will you do it? Are we seriously supposed to believe in ask a dev no one asked one question about broken pvp but there were several "what's it like to be canadian?"

    true but I would say a more valid complaint was the lack of ranged burst dmg (aka blaster) on the vill side.     The most ironic part is with GR and switching sides - there is a crap ton more balance. Hero stalkers. Villain Psy blasters, Villain emps..

    i would love to see all this with i12 mechanics in zones....

    Again, good emps presented a challenge to the opposition in i12 zones, but they weren't brokenly good. Certain people just refused to organize an effort to separate emps from their teammates. They see no real potential with PvP, regarding any end-game type of content, which is the exact opposite view that I have of it. I see PvP as the only lasting challenge in the game, and I think it has loads of potential. But we're not devs, and the only way we'd see any real results would be if we had devs that were capable of seeing things the way we do. Unfortunately, these devs do not; they've never even remotely given the impression that they understand. Look at their quotes and actions.

    I see no reason for optimism. I'm making do with what we have left, but there aren't many people left with which to share the remaining fun.
    more to the point the biggest zone complaint was "we don't have an emp equal." Oddly enough the devs gave us pain doms at the same time they gave us heal decay, dr and ts.

  11. not bs anymore please. Just tell us once and for all, are you going to fix pvp? See a lot of us have been trying to keep it going, events, ladders tourneys what have you...and it seems like you really really really really really really really really (enough reallys?) don't give a crap.

    So just level with us - tell us lol pvp...tell us your adding more supression and heal decay and dr and other crappy ideas.

    JUST TELL US and we can move on. Get War Witch to tell us she has had her finger in every issue (so she says) to get her finger to type something...

    Look you owe us that much..


    if all I get is mod smacked or nothing we can take that as your answer and wait for another mmorpg.

Only today did we develop hold spikes and kinless teams and storm MMs, and now as PvP’s new era failed in reaching fruition under adversity, we will have literally been defeated by the copy tool before midnight tonight.

    This is a breathtaking pace, and such a pace cannot help but create new ills as it dispels old, new ignorance, new problems, new FoTMs. Surely the opening vistas of PvP promise high costs and hardships, as well as little reward.

    So it is not surprising the devs would have us stay where we are a little longer to rest, to wait. But this City of Heroes, this community of PvPers, this collection of test players was not built by those who waited and rested and wished to look behind them. This game was conquered by those who moved forward--and so will space.

    If this capsule history of our progress teaches us anything, it is that PvPers, in their quest for knowledge and progress, are determined and will always be ignored. The exploration of space will go ahead, whether you join in it or not, and it is one of the great adventures of all time, and no SG which expects to be the leader of other SGs can expect to stay behind in this race for space.

    We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon... we choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too.

    In other words, Opus withdraws from the ladder. We are going to the Moon.

    actually they do - they are the ones recognized by nc as the people who organize "sponsored" pvp events. They operate under a code of conduct and such..

    There are people on the pvpec who talk to the nc folks or are at least recognized. There is a pvpec section of the forums that is member access only (or at least there used to be)...


    Does not mean you cannot organize your own event and get your own prizes. Promotional prizes are easy they have little value...prizes that have value are harder for tax reasons...

    Copy the entire contents of your coh folder to the cohtest folder just created.

    run the cohupdated you created on your desktop it will verify the files and dl the latest patch from test.

    confuse for zones - depends on how much you want to spend - dual slot your self heal and HA - (3/3 for the dual 1.88 hp bounuses) slot your ranged heals and ab with panaceas for the hp/recharge and range bonuses

    depending on how you slot your atks - hold or dmg you can 2.25% boost your hp and or add more range and recharge.


    the power mastery epic - pb/temp invuln/powerblast - you can dual slot powerblast three apoc three dev for more hp -all depends on how you want to build.
