Ah, but you could have started the game where you have it installed already and then started the updater for the thumb drive.
Just would have caused you a little lag. -
I remember when we had one of these once upon a time - and then it was lost in a forum purge, so I now have no idea what the dates were when my first two villains made 50.
Anyway...
Oni Kingyo - Ninjas/Force Field Mastermind
Briquette - Fiery Melee/Dark Armor Brute
Micrathena - Crab Spider Soldier/Crab Spider Training Arachnos Soldier
Mesquite - Plant Control/Thorny Assault Dominator
Manic Infinity Ball - Claws/Ninjitsu Stalker -
Cath's post made me question wetting my pants.
-
I won't be able to make next week. Hope it goes well if you guys do it again, though.

While giving the Ninja minions Ninja Run might look cool and seem like a good idea on the surface, I can't even imagine how much that would magnify the Ninja reputation for being ADD aggro monkeys.
Gotta keep that leash pretty short if they get hit with Speed Boost as it is. -

Before we split off to go run missions, we posed for a picture on the wall next to the Independence Port gate.
(And through the magic of demo editing, T-54 and Alfred Lanning are in the picture even though they weren't there at the time.)

I believe the appropriate quote here would be, "Oh! Snap!"

I'm hoping to make it. I mean, a whole night of tanking and on my home server? I'd be angry with myself if I didn't at least try to make that.
-
I need the Master badge on my Tank, too. I'm in no hurry though.
(I also need to eventually snag that one on my bubbly MM.) -
In a way, there's half a mechanic already existing for some of those variables. I say "half" because even though I don't think* they work in chat, they are included in the variables you can use in the Mission Architect:
Quote:See: Architect Entertainment Instructor: Tips & Tricks @ Paragon Wiki- supergroup: Replaces this text with the name of the player's super group. If the player doesn't have a super group the text "No Supergroup" is displayed.
- heshe: This option allows for gender switches, since the game knows whether you're playing a male or female you can specify which gender using the heshe replacement command, 'he' or 'she'. If you use capital versions of HeShe, the game will display them as capitals with replaced 'He' or 'She'
- himher: Similar to heshe, this text can be used to display the proper gender of the player. This command also supports capitals. HimHer becomes 'Him' or 'Her'
- hisher: Replaces this text with the gender of the player. This command also supports capitals. HisHer becomes 'His' or 'Her'.
- sirmam: Replaces this text with 'sir' or 'mam' depending on gender. This command also supports capitals. SirMam becomes 'Sir' or 'Mam'.
* I haven't tried, so I don't know for certain. -
You actually went over to urbandictionary.com to see if that had really been added.

I think most (if not all of them) are coming from here.

I wouldn't call that sad. MC Frontalot is part of a what's typically referred to as the "nerdcore" music scene. I wouldn't say that any of the artists in that little niche of the business have exactly established themselves as household names with the level of recognition you get when you mention any of the Beatles.
But knowing who MC Frontalot is and not knowing that he's probably making a reference to Zork when he's rapping about a grue*?
I think we may have found evidence of one of mother nature's rarest of creatures: the poseur nerd. They walk among us!
*Though, I suppose it is possible he's actually going all the way back to Dying Earth. -

Or, you can /chanjoin Triumph Watch 2.0 and send a tell to a mod asking to be unsilenced. Alternately, if you're in the channel and online a mod will eventually unsilence you when they look through the list of who's on. (Not sure what the exact mechanics of 2.1's setup are.)

Most of my SG members are currently passing the time until Going Rogue by playing Dungeons and Dragons Online now that they've introduced the free-to-play option. I usually join them over there on Saturdays, but CoH is still my major time sink. After all, there are still power sets I haven't played out to 50 yet. (That and my level 8 trap-monkey Rogue apparently can't solo even level 3 content without having his sneaky little butt handed to him repeatedly. Great on teams, though.)

There are no responses I can come up with that would not immediately land this thread on the Ocho's radar.
But there are sooo many badge names floating around in my head now...
