We did really well through the first two missions - just took our time and moved from spawn to spawn and picked our way through. Cleared the spawns around each crystal before taking the crystals out, and handled each ambush as they popped up.

Then we got to Lag Hill. Did pretty well there right up until we had to pull the last general down to us. Got a lot of extra aggro grabbing him, and somewhere in the confusion, one of our squishies ended up tasting Roman dirt. It may have been a magic spear, or there might have been an extra thrower on the grassy knoll - we weren't really sure where it came from. But that was it for the Master attempt, so we just threw caution to the wind after that and went all out.

All in all, not a bad run. Just bad luck, and those things happen. If it weren't for that, what good would it do to show of a "Master of" badge?

Team starting to form now. We'll run a few missions to warm up while we wait for everyone to get in.

In my rematch with UltraBatz I got ventilated.

My rematch with 3Mile went a little better for me. He pulled the club again, but was unable to land it very often.

No doping! I don't want a star next to my win count.

It looks like Cath also challenged me , but came out on the losing side.

I decided to give him a rematch. Nope. Still no joy for Cath. Probably that level 8 vs. level 3 differential.

I'm flexible. I'll concentrate my nuke acquisition efforts on my Crab and Dominator, assuming that the nuke is less useful for the MM since I'd be away from the main mass.

I'm out of practice in the pet-streaming field, but could probably pick it up pretty quickly.

On the other hand, blue hunting is blue hunting, so I could drop right in with the ranged team without any adjustment period. The Crab's built-in fear protection would also prove useful there.

Update:

Got a response back today from support stating that they were "able to verify that an error has occurred" and had adjusted my account status to show that I was eligible for the 63 mo. Vet badge.

Logging in my characters tonight, the 63 mo. badge is now awarding correctly.

Checking my account information, my Veteran Rewards Time has now been updated to show 5 years, 7 months, and the Veteran Rewards table is indicating that I will receive the 66 mo. badge on April 30. Seems I lost five days somewhere in this process, but I suppose I can live with that.

To one who waits, a moment seems a year while pantless.

My account has been active since October 2004. I got my 60 mo. vet reward on October 25 without any problem, but haven't gotten my 63 mo. reward yet. Hadn't really even thought about it until last night, so I checked my account status before I filed a ticket. There's definitely something broken in the system.
