My first scrapper I created way back when was Claws/SR. Still being very new to the game, I was expecting Claws to be less metal, more fingernail. Poor guy only lived for about five minutes before I deleted and rerolled him as a her and went with MA/SR.
I had one Rad/Rad defender that I never intended to actually do much with, but my SG was putting together a full Rad/Rad "Hazmat Squad" just to see how fast we could tear through everything. I think we were all around 14 when everyone else lost interest. At about the same time, I hit 50 for the first time and wanted to make a Warshade, so the Rad/Rad character "stumbled across an unjoined Kheldian" on his last patrol through the sewers before retiring and became my Warshade.
As far as I can remember, those are the only two characters I've deleted - unless I count placeholders I've created to hold onto names I planned to use later.
I had a placeholder of "Fo Shizzle" for my Warshade ("Fo Shizzle, my squzzle.") that I had to delete to make my Rad/Rad defender. When I got around to creating my Warshade the name was taken. (You're welcome, Fo.)

I noticed that there was a rewrite condition and rule that redirected anyone who didn't have an IP address of ##.###.###.### to a thread on the forums. Thinking that was kind of weird, I checked the thread, and it was the maintenance announcement from way back when we moved all of the sites over that weekend.
"Whoa," I thought, "now wait a minute. I checked the site just a few minutes ago! How can that be?" Well, as it turns out, ##.###.###.### is my address. The redirect was set up as it was so that I could test all of the sites after the move, but everyone else would be redirected to the forum thread saying that we were undergoing maintenance.
So anyway, the Hami Kill Squad site hasn't been accessible to anyone but me since October 17. I'm really sorry about that, as I really do diligently avoid making such obnoxious errors. For what it's worth, no one has posted any messages that I've seen about it and I haven't been notified that there was any issue, so if anyone was reading the site, they've been awful quiet about bringing up the fact that it hasn't been online in almost five months.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know, so if anyone is still involved in the Hami Kill Squad or that site, you can propagate my apologies. :-[
Anyway, it's accessible again if we want to use it for anything - and the old posts are viewable again. -
