When you used PSW, I didn't say anything, although I was grateful when someone else asked for clarification I guess it's my turn. OSA?
-
Yeah, they're basically ablative armor since they have the taunt/threat factor of a Tank with awkward pictures of the enemies' mothers.

Quote:Either I've been very lucky or it's a difference amongst servers, but I've never experienced that even with Demons and Bots. Sorry.I have a Beast/Thermal, Necro/Dark, Robotics/Thermal, Thugs/Thermal. I've had them all for quite some time. And it's not just me, I've read in channels where MM's are being asked "...don't you have any Other type of toon you'd like to play ?". I'd say I have a pretty darn good setup for controlling my little minions, but the majority seem to want the pets to stay out of sight, no matter the experience level.

Quote:Other than the pre-patch Magisterium where the pets were taking level shifts away from players, this is news to me. Which combo, out of curiosity?Worst powersets in the game ? Masterminds, apparently. I don't know what happened in the past month or so, but teams and trials are avoiding them like crazy. And if you do manage to get on a team, it's nothing but complaints. I've even been asked to "just follow along and buff & heal... enjoy the exp and inf... just Please don't pull out the pets". Sad.

Quote:I've not PLed any of my character beyond the extent of one or two DFBs to start. (Most don't do DFB at all, but some do for the badges.) My Titan Weapon user is an Ice/Titan tanker, who started in Praetoria no less. Honestly, if that's not a stress test of a melee set's mettle, I'm not sure what is. I love this character- he's now my highest level redsider (41) I own and I often talk myself out of not playing him so the others get a day in the sun...I laughed all the way through deleting my TW Brute and Tank, too.
I am an extremely hard taskmaster [or taskmistress....?], and if I am not feeling the love for a set by no later than level 24, that toon is GONE
But to get to your comment, You didn't get the feel of the power set by 24, even after a Brute gets:
Rend Armor 18 Melee, Extreme DMG(Smashing), Foe -Def(All), -Res(All)
Huh. Different strokes and all that. -
My understanding is that if the power does KB, it is 100% of the time converted to KD when the original power would create KB. If placed in a power without KB, it instead has the 20% proc rate to create KD.

Saw a Stone Tanker running about yesterday and Ice the day before that. I'd have seen the Ice again yesterday, but I was letting the 20 hour cooldown expire so I could claim another piece of Overwhelming Force.

Quote:Actually, I was stating that I've seen that not be the case to someone else who held that opinion. Of course, the patch today should have fixed it and made this a moot point.Edit: So the TP bug happens when in the middle of fighting mobs in the rooms and you think that may be preventing us from being teleported to the hideout?
Hopefully. -
He's saying that he like the bit of wiggle room 20 hour cooldown over 24 hour provides. I like the fact I can log out and claim later after the cooldown

With care, you can do all of Praetoria's content except being undercover for the other side. It's a fun challenge and gives a ton of plot
My current goldsider is a too-much-fun Ill/Dark. Sometimes the stacking ambushes get a little hairy, but teaming with a Mind/Psi Dom makes it pretty trolltastic... -
Transfer all my stuff and most of my ingame friends from Pinnacle for me.

I think Repel and Knockback are treated as different things by this proc. You may want to check the power's description to see if it's KB or Repel. I don't have a grav to check myself, sorry.

It isn't for the AH bug or the misattuning bug in the Overwhelming Force pieces.
As I've theorized elsewhere, they may have held off on the AH matter until the other is fixed. I suspect the misattuned pieces would do unpleasant things to the AH if inserted in current form. -
Yeah, it's listed as being attuned, but acting like it was set at the level of the character when collected. I really hoped that and the AH bug would be part of today's patch, but apparently not.
Then again, considering that it's misattuning them, they may have held off on opening up the AH for it until they fix the bug since it might do wonky things to the listings otherwise... -
I've had runs with the bug where the guards were untouched and ones where I've been TPed in while they were being fought.

Quote:More likely that people wereholding their breath to see if the Dev's locked Bonfire out from using the proc before chattering too much about it. I've seen others mention it before it went live. I didn't say anything because I don't have anyone with Bonfire, and thus it didn't really matter to me.This just adds more of a plus to Fire Control. I like how when I was flailing around about how awesome this will be in Bonfire months before everyone ignored me...now they're all shocked and want it n their build...just how many of you have me on ignore?! lmao
But there, proof at least one person doesn't have you on ignore... -
Quote:Im only really refering to is the Mex protection which is such a big big BIIIIIIIIIG powerboost for squishies.
And yes, you can get mez protection from Empowerment Stations as well.
Of course, since you've cheerfully admitted to employing hyperbole in an attempt to cause disruptions before, I'm not holding my breath that you'll calm down... -

Hit Streak, I think you mean "tongue-in-cheek," unless you're getting very fresh with the Rikti Monkey hordes...
-
I'll leave more detailed speculations to those more qualified, but I do know one cause of memory leaks- the game launcher. Do you have it set to close itself out automatically when the game fires up? If not, you should change its options to do so.
-
In a move that completely isn't balanced around IOs and designed to punish Def=based melee characters in order to threaten softcapped squishies, all iCritters have extra ToHit. iCap is therefore 59%, not 45%

Quote:So you're saying that it's not worth changing your build for a buff to a power you have that is situational with no other alterations. By changing your build and cutting off your nose to snipe your face? One thing for sure..I will be respecing out of the snipe once Issue 24 hits. Not worth the effort to change an entire build for a mythical 23% tohit.

Quote:Well, in the interim, I looked up my souvenir from that arc. THe news reached the Restructurists as well, who defected, were purged, or ignored the news. We weren't able to get the revelation to the Rikti homeworld, naturally.Ah, should have clarified. The Rikti were previously unaware of this until that arc, but I'd still say that the vast majority of the Rikti are still unaware of it, and perhaps even the Restructurists are not aware of it, given their... disagreements... with the Traditionalists. At best, they're willfully ignorant of it, since it doesn't fit into their plans (and, I'd argue, is really the only way to justify their working with the Praetorians in the Apex TF or anywhere else, for that matter.)
As for the other part of this, I'd imagine that the Rikti were unaware of Praetoria and instead left the trail Nemmy had undoubtedly planted straight to Primal Earth. The Restructists may well want to destroy/conquer Praetoria, but their first order of business will still be wiping out Primal humanity so we can't expose the war's true origin. At least, that's the motivation stated in the souvenir.
