As I said in PinnBadges, there's always room for more jello hunting in Pinn...

Welcome back. One thing you may or may not have noticed is that now except for the Kheldian and Arachnos-trained ATs, you can start on any side regardless of AT. Handy, that.
If someone hasn't beaten me to it by the time I get in game, I'll happily toss you that missing five million as a welcome back. Sorry that your account was messed with and hope to see you ingame.. -
All reserved for the moment, although I know my naming sensibilities differ from most. Still, I thought it worth trying to help.
1- Model Zero Kelvin
Glacial Reproach
2- Waning Fortune
I'd personally go for Nishapati (Indian lunar deity, the name means "Lord of the Night,") but I suspect this doesn't fit your criteria.
3- Capped Bet
Hard Count -
Well, my badge collector is a /Time Manipulation Corruptor. Self-explanatory, really...

They do and you can find them for very low prices online.

Interesting. I'm subbed, and neither of those are terribly important to me. I only have two incarnates and the second one sat over two months before I did any iStuff with him after Alpha unlock. And the VIP-free costumes generally aren't useful for my concepts. I'm mostly subscribed for the character slots, AT unlocks, Time/Dark, and IOs.

Quote:[Dr. Graves Arc]Oh no! You've been mindwiped too![/Dr. Graves Arc]Huh, I used to own that record and didn't recall the song even after listening to the YouTube. Live and learn.

To OP- You could always make one based off bad slime monster movies. I'd suggest the very 80's "The Stuff," but its coloration might lead to genericization. -
My vote is for the Team Transporter. Summons an Arachnos Flier/Longbow Chaser/Praetorian Chaser to take you and your team to the next mission. Only a 30 minute cooldown, a marked improvement over the Mac Pack solo teleporter.

Quote:Super Packs, actually. You can get a lot of things. A short list of things from the current ones (there's a second round in the works) follows:1. Power Packs - What do you get from these? I know the ATO enhancements come from them - Are those only level 50? Are their preferred levels of obtaining them?
ATOs, Enhancement Boosters, Enhancement Unslotters, Enhancement Catalysts, Black Wolf Vanity Pet, Elemental Order Costume pieces, Dual Inspirations, Team Inspirations (single and dual,) revives, revive ally, Patrol XP boosters, Prestige Boosters, Windfalls, XP boosters, and Reward Merits. The packs can be claimed and opened by anyone on you account and the goodies go into character mail until claimed by that or a different alt. The exceptions are the costume and pets, which are immediately unlocked account-wide.
ATOs are attuned, which means that anyone can equip them from level 10-50 and they adjust in stats as you level, sidekick, and exemplar. Pretty handy, but they have one more trick. Using Enhancement Catalysts on a set (one per piece) turns them into purple-equivalents. Usable by level 50s only, set bonuses persist at all levels, and upgrade from solid rare set-level numbers to purple-level. The only real drawback is that upgrading them makes them account-bound.
See above. Also note that the ATOs are unique, so you can only have one set per character.Quote:2. Speaking of ATOs, how good are they? Are they worth, say, replacing a set of Devastations? Or even Ragnaroks?
Salvage, TOs, DOs, SOs, assorted unlocks for making your own MA missions, a badge, Inspirations, and recipes up through rare.Quote:3. AE Tickets - Are there any limitations on what recipes are available to buy with them? I have a bunch (I'm not above AFK'ing in a mission if someone is offering!), and I've never bothered trying to discover more about them.
Physically? Atlas Park/Sharkhead Temporally? Not too long after the end of SSA 1.Quote:4. I've played through SSA 1 parts 1-4 or so. I suppose I should finish that off, but for my own edification, where does SSA 2 begin?
First Ward: 20-29 Night Ward:30-35 And if you outlevel the contacts, they are available through Ouroborus.Quote:5. What are the level ranges of First Ward and Night Ward? I did all missions on another character, and I feel like I'm pretty deep into the Night Ward arcs (I'm on the Black Knight contact (the first one, if there is more than one) at level 33 or so). Am I ahead of the game? Will I eventually be closed off from the contacts until a particular level range?
Convert with one converter: Turns into another Enhancement of same level and rarity, but different set.Quote:6. Enhancement Converters - This is the big thing, because I have a lot of these and don't really know what they're for. I assume they... convert... enhancements, but ALL enhancements? Could I convert a purple sleep IO to a purple Heal IO? A random nonsense IO to a Miracle +Regen? That doesn't make sense to me, so I need clarifications before I waste something.
Convert with two converters: Same level and category (PBAoE, Sleep, EndMod.) Rarity can change, set will change.
Convert with three converters: Same level inside its set. Rarity can change.
And yes, with luck you can get some very good rolls this way, such as Trap of the Hunter Endurance/Immobilize to LotG +Global Recharge.
Use can also use these on ATOs, even Catalysed ones.
It's way too early for me to try and remember the answer to that, so I offer a counter suggestion- The TUNNEL system now makes jumping between zones easier, even allowing access to new Dark Astoria, Imperial City, or the Shadow Shard. Also, the Team Transporter is a fairly new power in the Paragon Market that functions like the Mac Pack's mission transporter, but summons a flier (of proper faction) for you and your whole team and has only a 30 minute cooldown. Greatly cuts down on travel time for me.Quote:7. As of yesterday, I'm leveling a Water/Psy Blaster. I've teamed all the way to my current level, which is 26.5. However, I know that those abundant teaming opportunities won't always be there, and then, it will be time to solo. What are the ranges for the zone-specific mission arcs (the ones that don't have you hopping across all zones, i.e., Croatoa, Striga, First Ward, etc)? I know that every contact in Striga and Croatoa offer a mission with a temporary power somewhere in each arc. As a squishy blaster, I love temporary powers. Are there any other zone-specific contacts that follow this model?
Yes, level 50, although you can have a different Incarnate buy an Alpha unlock for a new 50 with Astral Merits. Be sure to do the Captain Nolan (blueside)/Threatening Arachnos Message(redside) missions on your Incarnate to start the Dark Astoria missions. It's a solo Incarnate zone now with a story I really enjoyed. And yes, the enemies there are upgraded and give iXP/Threads. Missions there give iRewards, too.Quote:8. Incarnates!
As I'm planning on eventually going to the limit with my current character, some understanding is required. One of my playing stints was when Incarnates were introduced, so I know all about BAF, Lambda, and Keyes, plus the Destiny, Lore, Judgement, Alpha, and Interface slots.
I'm clueless about everything added beyond that point, as well as when Incarnate stuff truly begins these days. Can I still not do Mender Ramiel's Alpha-unlocking arc until level 50 (or was that never the case)?
I hope my answers helped some and welcome back.Quote:OK, I think that's all of my questions. Thanks for your time and indulgence! -
It's doesn't have a short ST blast to be extended, however. Presumably that it what Shubbie's referring to The fact that we've been told by a redname that they are looking at tweaking Voltaic Sentinel as well as planning to track Elec's performance after i24 may not matter. Depends on how far along the hyperbole addiction has progressed.

Quote:Ahem-...Hrmm, now I wonder is it properly working in regular non KB powers...
Quote:Addendum: I also had Not a Nemesis Agent test the special piece and after many Scrapyarders, Family, and Wolf Spider volunteers bravely sacrificed their lives in the name of science, I can confirm that the 20% Knockdown chance separate from the KB-> KD conversion is functional now. -
I'm a newish player and won't try to answer everything here. Just a couple of little things.
Issue 23
160 points a month, which would be $2 assuming that you never buy more than $5 at a time to get bonus points. And you can get more than one at a time to extend the license multiple months. Or at least you could before I went VIP.Quote:no way to just buy a permanent or at least extended IO license (if I recall correctly, getting to Tier 7 would cost me around $260 or take just under two years if I sub the whole time, which I'd be for more likely to eventually do if I could have my IOs full-time now whether buying a license or putting it in a more sane spot on the rewards table)
Hi! I'm a new person you can whine to!Quote:I imagine this comes off as a bit whiney and ranty. It's kind of how I feel since I'm rather annoyed and nobody I knew was on in-game for me to complain to.
@B.Viking if you need an ear to gripe at ingame. I play on Pinnacle, but global handles are, well, global.
(Here's hoping at least the last part cheered you up a little.) -
It was the first thing I checked, actually. Although oddly enough, there appear to be separate slots for each level of piece potentially earned (15-29) and pieces claimed at different levels do not stack in SG enhancement bins, so there may be one or two oddities not quite ironed out.
Addendum: I also had Not a Nemesis Agent test the special piece and after many Scrapyarders, Family, and Wolf Spider volunteers bravely sacrificed their lives in the name of science, I can confirm that the 20% Knockdown chance separate from the KB-> KD conversion is functional now. -
This powerset+Cold+empty Think Tank+suit=Water Cooler!

Quote:I haven't tested it (mine is lvl 20), but there are far more than two it could take.@all:
And an additional build question:
Has someone tested putting damage procs in Dark Servant? (there are 2 i think)
Touch of the Nictus (neg), Cloud Senses (neg), Neuronic Shutdown (psi),Ghost Widow's Embrace (psi), Gladiator's Net (lethal), Trap of the Hunter (lethal), and Unbreakable Constraint (smash) -
If this had to be adjusted (I don't have anyone with bonfire and really don't care,) wouldn't the simplest solution be to minutely tweak Bonfire's pulse rate so that it isn't perfectly in sync with the "stand up" timing?

Quote:Hah. I was pondering either Water/Mental Blaster, Water/Dark, or Water/Rad Corruptor. Mental Manipulation seems iffy and I have an Ill/Dark, so I'm leaning towards Water/Radiation Corruptor. My character would be an actor genetically re-engineered kid focused mascot that failed horribly and relegated to Powers Division where he would hopefully die swiftly in the line of duty. And it was all that healthy, skinny girl's fault.
Two addendums to respond to posts added while I was typing:
Grendar- My Ill/Dark controller had the easiest stroll through goldside yet, but then again, that's quite a nasty combo
Organica- Yes, it is. That's why they changed some of the Praetorian badges with i23 to not have them all imply that you've left Praetoria instead of sticking around via FW/NW. -
The creativity of the veteran basebuilders never ceases to impress me.
-
I really want it ported into an Aquatic Assault so I can make an Elec/H2O Dominator, but for now that character's concept may be Water/Storm or Rad Corruptor.
-
Quote:Okay, allow me to be more blunt with my response then.Don't read so much into the analogy that you forget its an analogy...
That isn't the sort of (overutilized, uninspired, and uncreative by this point) gameplay I necessarily look for in this game and if I wanted that sort of experience, I have plenty of other games that go that route.
I do not consider the Magisterium trial to be well-scripted and compelling, but the things you were discussing would make it even more unenjoyable for me. -
