  1. I would love to be able to use Bolero coat on men, in a somewhat related note to JKPhage's post.

    Name My Toon!

Glad you liked it. Hope that character's fun!

    Name My Toon!

    Three quick ones:

    The Final Moment
    Nechronomancer
    Guede Hourglass
  4. Yeah, not really feeling a need to watch an infomercial. Sorry.
  5. I'd love if some of the skin matching was looked at. My Plant/Fire Dom has orangish skin and the line between her arms and gloves section (monstrous hands) is clearly delineated by a color shift Very frustrating. Sorry I don't have a picture right now. Will try to add one in later.

My tanker solos the majority of the time and is leveling faster than I'd intended. Guess I need to lrn2plarite,

Tanker? Absolutely. Brute, usually. Scrapper? Maybe. (My Mace/Shield, for example, is a bit...belligerent... My Katana/Energy is more reserved, and only fights when required.) Stalker? I doubt it.

  9. Taci and I share a signal, and you've been on TFs with us before. If that risk is acceptable, I'd love to put Not a Nemesis Agent (Lvl 45 AR/Time) through Quaterhell.

Nope, bottom both times for the ones I listed.

Yeah, that was posted after I'd started composing my comment. I understand why they value their time, but it seems like it could be partly automated to make things easier (or even creating a few extra twitter accounts solely to send out more messages.) Then again, Zwill has also said that he's standing by his decision, so our griping won't affect things any time soon.

I'm probably done in this thread now. It's clear that they know there's a problem, but they won't be changing anything in the near future, so it's best for me to go back to ignoring the whole thing.

Seriously, this just soured me completely to trying to play along. I don't do social media, but was willing to make an exception for this, because I really love making costumes and costume codes. As I said, this is a terrible model and whatever replaces it will need a much better incentive for me to try again. Good luck finding it.

As an aside regarding distribution rates, I fail to see how 360 codes per week is a significant improvement over 250 codes per day.
  13. Well, I was willing to make an account and try to participate when it involved the direct replies, but there's little reason to bother racing everyone else to batches of ten codes.

I didn't care for Twitter to begin with, but went along to try and get some free stuff that wouldn't be available elsewhere Unfortunately, this return to the old model makes any attempt to snag a code completely improbable.

Account deleted, unlikely to bother playing along on any further pavlovian social media crud in the future, et cetera. And no, fellow forumites, you can't have my stuff, because I still have the game proper, just giving up on attempting to compete in some social media twitch game.
  14. The first part is Flirt, Be Crass, Be More Crass.

The one that appears to be the fastest combo in the second half is "Golden Gamblers," then "Biggest Jackpot."
  15. Honestly, while it would be interesting to get some more insight into certain groups, I'm not sure if having a path where you are one of the members of the faction is that great of an idea. I can see it getting too limiting or lore clashes resulting that would just drive the people most likely to be interested in the concept mad.

Also, I've made and seen others create members of NPC factions that do a decent job of integrating the concepts into their costumes/powers/backstories already. I'd love to get more faction-specific costume pieces available to make certain looks easier to copy, though.

    Signed,
    Not a Nemesis Agent
    AR/Time Corruptor
  16. I think reading this thread bruised my squeedlyspooch.

    ...so strong...

Assuming that the infinite is also unbounded. There are an there are an infinite number of values between two and three, but none of them are four.

I consider the "one Well for all of a species across dimensions" to be rather silly and not well-considered. And the idea that superpowers are some zero-sum game condemning untold numbers in other dimensions to suffering so we can show off is a decidedly unheroic prospect.

I'm beginning to wonder if Primal Earth is getting situated into a position akin to the realm of Amber in Zelazny's stories. The primal dimension is the "true" one that everything else reflects from. It's the only vaguely-plausible explanation for the plot I can surmise and it's still a bit...lacking...
  18. Well, I have an Ice/Titan tanker that I enjoy immensely, so I'm a little biased, but to me, Ice Armor seems a more natural fit for a tank. Two aggro auras, slows, damage aura, the ability to jump into a huge mob, get their undivided attention and use their own endurance bars to continue fueling your attacks.

If you're wanting to avoid magic origin, then mutant (their body naturally keeps a ludicrously low temperature or exudes crystals) or science/tech (cryosuit for handling biohazards or an alien species with a far different idea of what constitutes "room temperature" perchance?) can work easily enough.

I fear that you are giving your data sample an undue amount of credibility.

So, in other words, this entire thread is meaningless?

Which appears to be what the player in question seemed to imply, so as far as I can tell, this subsection of discussion is concluded.

And no, I hope they don't stick "Minimum 54, Incarnates only" or any nonsense like that for the Batallion. Some content, sure. All, no.
    This man, he speaks wisely.

Really? Last I checked there was still more non-Incarnate content for 50s than iStuff. Even ignoring Premium/Free accounts who cannot access them at all, that content is not mandatory now, and I'd hope it does not become so in the future. That would be bad decision making of a scale that makes blueside "Who Will Die" Batman-level brilliance in comparison
