  1. For me, it was with Follow-through and I had a nice KD and a fairly solid attack chain. The one that really made me grin and truly enjoy the set, though? Rend Armor. That power is just great and looks brutal. Adding an Achilles Heel proc on top of the existing -Res is just the sadistic cherry on top.

Thre are powers extant or in Beta right now that have different effects depending on whether targeted at ally or enemy (part of the Medicine Pool revamp, but the name escapes me.) And things like the T4 Radial Control Hybrid appears to have a somewhat differentiated status check on targets that may be possible to utilize if needed.
  4. At the very least, could we consider looking at allowing something more from the Empathy powerset to help the user? My SO and I often duo as our Defenders, but it's becoming a bit troublesome as I have to constantly watch her health bar, seeing as Heal Bunny can't do much for self-preservation with set designed almost exclusively around healing.
Soloing seems very difficult for her, which seems a bit harsh of a penalty for someone wanting to be able to heal others well.

TL;DR- It seems a little odd that the game's premiere healing powerset can't keep itself alive.
  5. Use GURPS. It usually handles those sorts of numbers more cleanly and wouldn't be too hard to compare CoH attack damage numbers versus the HPs of parking meters, cars, and so on. Thenagain, never a fan of Hero system.

It's the Freedom Phalanx's Lore Pet. Statesman wouldn't allow anything stronger than that due to his terror of the others drawing on the Well.
  7. You can use a utility called Titan Sentinel to get a Mids build code block directly off your character in game. It's available on the Titan Network if you don't want to recreate your build manually.

Fair enough. As you presumably know, I'm fairly new to the game and don't know everyone's assorted alt accounts.

  9. Badge hunting immaterial? Them's fighting words!

Also, I suspect that along with the lasting impact issues (Cleo and Sheffield, anyone?) that the alignment is the true stumbling block Since Resistance/Loyalist appears to be coded as Hero/Villain+another flag and is a bit more fluid, that might be trouble. After all, apparently Ouro is in two versions already for alignment reasons and apparently kind of hacked oddly behind the scenes even to manage that. And we know there's other oddities under the hood, like tracking your true loyalties goldside based on the initial decision. While I'd love to be able to flash back to them, I can understand why the coding is approached with trepidation suitable to juggling jars of nitroglycerin and hedgehogs at once.
  10. You will be able to get Weave without Tough in i24 if I understand the proposed restructuring correctly.

I'd modify that last part to "would get a chance for possibly receiving a code."
Zwill said that the intent is not for everyone to get anything (I can understand this, since plenty of people already show up. A guaranteed reward of a code would make it even crazier and possibly get you guys glared at around the office for being too generous.) Certainly, I was in two events and stayed until the end and got no code...
  12. I certainly felt similarly confused and worried with my first Incarnae and still bug thhe more experienced players on my server with questions about things I don't quite get (Hello, Hybrid; I hear you're useful, but I still don't get it.) As others have said, a T1 turns out to be fairly easy to craft.

As an aside, however, there's an entire subforum dedicated to builds where you can get advice and they seem fairly helpful and friendly.
  13. The Shadow Over Innsmouth is a bit baroque for AG's tates as best I can infer. Although I usually suggest something like The Dunwich Horror as a starter for most people. Perhaps Herbert West, Reanimator for those who lean to that sort of taste in horror.

Cool Air, to me, is a much shorter and more modern specimen of his tales, one that could probably be passed off as a Stephen King story. And probably a bit more palatable to AG.

Absolutely. I went to the Exalted event to see what was likely to happen when they hit my home server of Pinnacle, and was a little worried. However, Tacitala and I were already planning a minor surprise for Mako and Co. when they hit our shores and weren't going to let the event be boring, no matter what.

I'm happy to say that the Pinn event was pretty darned fun and it seemed like Zwill, Freitag, and whoever else was behind the scenes was enjoying himself as well. Bad puns, joke costumes, and the like flew fast and furious and it appeared that people enjoyed themselves fairly well, although redside had a rougher go, since blue was packed with strong incarnates and they...weren't...

Also, still amused that we drank Mako's computer under the table and that he has Aid Other.

Happy you could join us for it. You're a pretty quiet fellow, so people may not have known you were still around.

Exalted will get another one on Monday.

  19. Yes, thank you everyone for a good turnout and some great costumes. I hope everyone had fun.
  20. CeilingCenter is watching you Incarnate.

Also regarding why we're observing bulges- why not? Nothing wrong with a little mancandy in the cheesecake diet.

More accurately, it's because of the Statescrotch issue (which was nearly impossible to ignore) that people are paying closer attention to the "Big Dog."

Marauder's face is a little off-kilter, but it's still better than Statescrotch or Penny Chin and Her Amazing Plasticine Shin.

    Epic fun had by all!
I'm still disappointed that Zwill's immersion did drop a PVP recipe when I killed it. And thanks for coming over guys, I hope you got a chuckle out of the reception we had waiting.

  24. Oh, so it's not just me that has to manually refresh the page? That's something useful I've learned at least.

EDIT: And I'm in to character select screen!
