My current main (Scrapper) would live in KR or Bricks. Plenty of room for a biker to ride around in.
My previous main: (Energy blaster, Flier) Founder's Falls. The majesty of Wiliams Square appeals to his ego.
My next blaster (Ice, superjump) would live in Steel Canyon. It's more cheerful-looking than Skyway and has quick access to Atlas Park, another populated, clean-looking zone. -
Michael Zuggmeier A.K.A. The Mighty Zugg looks at the 80% completed motorcycle in the storage unit he's living in and says "Black and chrome, baby!"

I was curious about Dark Astoria. Oregon has a coastal town named Astoria, where such theatrical masterpieces as Kindergarden Cop, The Goonies and Overboard were filmed.
It's a little foggy there.......
Astoria in the far NW corner of Oregon, Dark Astoria in a far corner of Talos Island? Probably just a coincidence. -
1) Being able to delete clues accumulated doing the Hollows arc when I did someone elses Trancendence mission and got the stupid badge anyway.
2) Trenchcoats, weapon sheaths, backpacks and wings, even if only unlockable with cape mission.
3) Customisable powers, such as an energy blaster getting black bolts or an AR blaster using an M-16 w/M-203. -
Did you use Swift+Hurdle+Sprint?
I use a 'Sprint on while moving/Off when still' bind, coupled with a Powexec_name Sprint toggle bound to R (to correct errors induced while zoning or mezzed). This, in my mind, reduces the End cost of Spint, so if I didn't feel the need for an End reducer in Sprint then I can put in a RunSpeed enhancer instead.
And since Swift and Hurdle is on the road to Stamina, I see no problem with taking them. The Fitness pool feels very natural to me, as it is easily explainable by your character working out a lot.
I applaud your patience to stick with a concept you feel strongly about, despite it not being considered 'optimum' by some people. -
.....I hereby pledge that I will legalize a safe form of Superdyne, putting illicit sales of the drug out of business and creating additional income for this city by selling this through city-run dispensaries. A portion of this revenue will go towards education programs, which are sorely needed for our current 'dyne addicts, colloqially refered to as the "Trolls".
The remainder can be used to fund homeless shelters. I believe that shelters are a vital need of this city, for even some of our heroes have fallen upon hard times. Haven't you heard the cries "Please gimme some INF!!" and "PL me PLZ!!11!!"?
A small modification to our city's teleportation system and these poor souls could be whisked to a warm place and given a baloney sandwich and a mug of nice, hot tomato soup!
Haven't you heard the cries of the homeless and wanted to make a difference? I have, and if I am elected, I will do everything I can to make this city a better place.
My work as the Chairman of the Paragon City Chamber of Commerce has proven that I have the leadership to get things done. I recently organised a local retailers map for distribution to the new heroes of our city, so that they could instantly find such attractions as Icon, Cooke's Electronics, Mutagenics, Image Inc., Freedom Corps and the YMCA. this map has already been published and will be distributed in early 2005.
Many of our heroes have been burdened by debt because of thier rather frequent use of our fine medical facilities. Under my leadership I can create a less expensive HMO-style system, utilizing med-school dropouts and mortificators. Financing will be quite affordable, and insurance billing can be handled by reformed members of the Family.
I pledge that under my leadership, Perez Park will recieve more attention from the Parks Department, pruning the underbrush more frequently so that visitors can traverse this area much more easily, rather than the overgrown jungle it currently resembles.
I pledge to fund more police cars so that traffic enforcement can be better handled. Currently, as many of you have noticed, many of our city's drivers are driving drunk, unlicensed, or both. Paragon City's drivers will be made fully aware of how neccesary it is to obey the traffic laws of Rhode Island while driving in our fair city. Fully 70% of traffic ticket revenue can be used to fund enforcement efforts, the remainder can be diverted to the general fund. We have enough policemen, we simply need patrol cars for them. currently, 96% of our patrolmen say that they would rather enforce traffic issues than do the foot patrols that they currently do.
During this city's April 1st election, Vote Gaakak For A Better Tommorrow!!
Do any of my fellow candidates wish to declare thier plans for improving our great city? -
Mighty Zugg: Coven guard because the freaky magic chicks pay well and party better!
Delgath: Frequently re-incarnated energy mage
Holly Daycheer: Cheerleader by day, crimefighter by night. -
Tanker-less group of 1-2 blasters/ 1-2 scrappers/ misc. defenders and controllers. (numbers vary every 30minutes)
Blaster: Hey scrapper, pull one of that mob (5th Col. in B-Town)
Scrapper: Um, with what? (doesn't have provoke, taunt or range weaponry)(says varius things on his side of keyboard)
Blaster (silent)
Scrapper responds with equivalent of "Hey Y'all, watch this!" and proceeds to wade in swinging sword. -
Excellent Thread!!
I was about to post something similar. I think it is a good idea to bind to the numpad rather than the main area of the keyboard. Regular numpad0 to numpad9 for things that have to come up imediately(i.e. in combat), ALT+Numpad0-9 for pre-combat and team-based commands/ actions, and CTRL+Numpad0-9 for non-combat goodies like chatting and whatnot leaves me with 30 places for possible binds, stacked by priority and organized.
I intend to also use the nieghboring buttons as well, should I need more than 10 of each "priority level" of binds, but by that point I will need to keep a cheatsheet next to the monitor to remember them all. Ah, what's another 3*5 card?
