Quote:I'm pretty sure there's a "/cleartray command", but I'd rather that it simply NOT put all those temp powers into my tray.what i hate the most about respecs right now is throwing my power bar out of wack and dumping EVERY temp power ive gotten into the bar so i have to removed like 20-30 powers every time i respec on top of reorganizing powers that i want (this is especially annoying if i only wanted to do minor change mentioned above)

If I may, I'd like to propose something on short notice. It may not be perfect, but hopefully, it'll be better than what we got.
1) Typing "/respec" or otherwise triggering the Respec interface will take you straight to an option window:
Quote:What do you think?Respec Main Menu
options:
A) Classic Respec. Except this time, add the toggle on/off option of split-screening your current work against your previous build.
When done, Click "Finish" takes you back to the Respec main Menu.
At any time, may click "Back" to undo changes.
B) De-leveling Respec. Starts you at your current level, peels off powers (and the slots from those powers) from the top to the bottom, then allows you to train up to your current level.
When done, Click "Finish" takes you back to the Respec main Menu.
At any time, may click "Back" to undo changes.
C) Re-Enhancement Respec. Starts you with your current powers, slots and enhancements, but your enhancements are not locked. You get to click and drag to your heart's content.
When done, Click "Finish" takes you back to the Respec main Menu.
At any time, may click "Back" to undo changes.
D) Re-Slot Respec. Starts with your current power choices, all one-slotted. Rechoose your slots, then re-enhance.
When done, Click "Finish" takes you back to the Respec main Menu.
At any time, may click "Back" to undo changes.
E) Advanced Respec. Start with your current full build as-is. Remove any power and it's slots from each level's choice. Try to exit without a legitamate build (example, removing your L4 pick and putting "Whirlwind" or "Headsplitter" in there. Too early of a pick!) and you will get an error message.
When done, Click "Finish" takes you back to the Respec main Menu.
At any time, may click "Back" to undo changes.
F) Print Current Management screen.
G) Save Changes and Exit. (Burns one respec)
H) Cancel All Changes and Exit. (Does not burn a respec) -
I always "/bind Alt+M Manage".
The slash-command "/manage" takes you there. -

I'm not surprised, Chaos_Creator. Like I said, for many, this just isn't worth thier time. Obviously you've moved onto greener pastures. Heck, with many of the Market locations being so very close to stores, (KR and Port Oakes come to mind first, but AP and St. Martial as well), it seems like there's plenty of free money just laying there for the taking.

Sure they are. I saw that episode of Mythbusters.
*flashback to fuedal Japan, early morning*
Maid: "The Master is dead! What happened?"
Guard1: "Um, this guy just jumped over the castle wall, blinded me with stuff, then slit the Master's throat, jumped over the wall againk, ran across the lake and turned into a tree! He was a ninja"
Guard2: "Yeah, that's what happened." *wipes dagger clean* "Magic masked man with super powers."

I went to dump some stuff on the Market today, and noticed quite a few of my "Vendor Trash" items (off-brand Set Recipes, Common Salvage and misc.) were going to be competing with other unwanted items in the bin under "Zero Bidding, Hundreds or thousands for sale"
Does the ecosystem need some more scavengers to clear the debris from the forest floor?
For most Marketeers, this isn't worth thier time, since it's slow and tedious. But for the new player, it's free money for Zero risk and very little knowledge needed. -
Once set of mythical creatures broke the other?

I'm almost tempted to get a Facebook page just to post a bunch of fiction on it and see what bites.
Likes: Nude Uranium Mining, Cranial Inversion Thereapy, Contagious Abdominal Wall Spotting. -
Quote:This would be a bit of a problem. It would also be incredibly ridiculous with enemies that aren't humanoid, or radical size differentials, leading to grabbing air and the enemy being radically shifted from the grab site.
Imagine one grab-and-throw that worked on say, a Rikti Monkey and a Malta Titan Robot.
For the most part, it's doable though with a bit of the "Few-Fifteen" rule. "a few beers and fifteen feet away, it looks pretty good!" -
Quote:Possibly electric. I mean with all of those super-scientists creating cyborgs and armored fighting suits, surely there's a feasible powersource for a slow-moving vehicle in there. No vehicles. I don't even like the random cars and trucks that are in the city driving aimlessly. Plus have you noticed there are no gas stations in the city? What's up with that? Everyone just buys an electric car?
Besides, with all that power going to the War Walls, what's a little bit diverted off to power the vehicles? -

Quote:Oh, cheer up.Okay enough with the Goth bashing. Makes me feel a tad unwanted...
How about we try to come up with some new costume parts that fit the theme without being redundant with what we already have?
I could go for some method of going see-through without having to run a Stealth power or grabbing the appropriate IO. (I have a ghost character that I tried to do a long time ago, but deleted out of frustration)
But what else would you put in the new Booster Pack?
And how would it it fit into a comic-booky game? -
I was heading to a mission in the end of Boomtown when my son was watching. He insisted that I fix all of the broken cars on the way.
So with every broken down wreck, out would come the batsmash and jackhammer emotes. -
Yup. Auras at L30+ and Power Customization of defensive toggles, right?
I almost want to roll a Dark Armor Scrapper to see how Sparkly Shiny I can get with my Darkity-Netherworld powers.Oh, and replace all those floating skulls with smily-faces.

Quote:We also have all those different "Horns" options and plenty of chains and spikes.Other things I can think of as 'dark' (skulls, leather with many buckles, hoods, etc) already exist. If there is something else - name it.
And numerous facepaint options for the black make-up crowd.
While we have no scythe, I kind of like the Khopesh options for the Broadsword and Dual Blades. -
Quote:Sure, done properly they would be cool.hey wouldn't vehicles be cool (look at Batman) it could create interesting dynamics for fighting and for movement
But you have to look at the following:
1) How would they handle strafing?
2) If you're inside a vehicle, how do you interect with the environment? Are your powers disabled? Are you targetable?
You mention "interesting dynamics for fighting", so I assume that you will have some interaction with the foes while inside your guyvas-mobile..
3) Will it be usable inside of missions? Going to be hard to fit that Buick into an office. It was bad enough with Masterminds.
4) How are you going to handle terrain? Superspeed has enough limitations, and you at least get *some* jumping ability usable with it. Some zones are worse than others for this. -
I always wanted a "show/hide incomplete badges" toggle. The "Closest to completion" tab is interesting though.

Quote:Sorry, but that's not a good thing. Mechanically, that would make it weaker than an existing equivalent powerset. At least with SS, you can add Hurdle and Combat Jumping (or Super Jump) and have a pretty good travel power. Many times, you will need to be able to hop a curb or a fence.
BBQ_Pork: So, like Superspeed, except with even less vertical?
Of course, even with this "-jump" limitation, people would still pick it for the cool factor. -
