That's would I'd like to see also. Where you actually get pet commands and the enemy gets a dark damage/defense boost. After all, don't possessed people get super demonic strength? They should have a creepy scream when they die too (they wouldn't be permanent and it'd only work up to bosses).
  2. So, I've been away for a while. And I know /psi was nerfed, but I was wondering what is the set good for now? Is it the best at anything besides range? I mean, I guess 20 extra feet is cool and all. I believe they (BaB?) said it still is above what it's supposed to be.
  3. What can be teleported w/ team teleport? Is it even worth it? I'm thinking about a nin/traps/mace.
  4. You could just use one of your pets to target the boss, if the tier 3 is the strongest then I'd use him/it since they don't contribute much to BG mode anyways.
  5. I used to play CoH some time ago and I just recently came back. If I remember correctly, the main problems with my zombies were that fire just absolutely destroyed them and sometimes they would be 1 shot so fast I could not heal them.

Fire would take away this fire weakness and would increase resistance so I can respond quickly with a heal. Also, since the heal is PBAoE I can always be in melee range with the pets. Is this not a good combination? I rarely see it.

    Also, is spring attack auto-hit?
  6. Hello,

I have a dark melee/super reflexes and I was wondering if I needed to get the passives for resistance and how much resistance (percents preferred) would they grant? Are there other powers that you all would replace it with? I only have 2 toggles so end isn't a problem.

P.S. Is evasion that useful? I have incredible AoE defense from hide already (though I know it suppresses).

    No love for TA?

The set is good, but sometimes I wonder where all that balance is when the set with redraw has such weak debuffs as well as no reactive mitigation. And I don't think it's a case of TA being the balanced set.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hmmm so does anyone know what brings it into balence with the other buff/debuff sets?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I know! I know! A good mix of debuffs, PLUS it also does extreme damage.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Again, only if you can ignite the Oil Slick.

It usually lights up for me.

    Merc/?

I'm pretty sure you can put -res in thugs/. And if they have an immob/ it isn't even close. Thugs/ pull much further ahead.
  9. Thank g-d for profanity filters...
  10. Dual blade/ninjitsu looks the best from the 3 listed, (it'd be better to ask in stalker forum though). Resistance isn't good for stalker because they are knocked out of hide easily. Ninjitsu is actually considered a light secondary with not a lot of required powers. Just take: Ninja Reflexes, Danger Sense, Kuji-In Rin, and Kuji-In Sha. You could try to purchase a -kb IO or go with acro, get stamina and all of your DB powers.
  11. Aww, he/she is so nice. If you have any other questions feel free to send a tell @Azucar.

In pve you'd want to stack stuns so I'd go with grav/nrg.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I would think that Fire/Nrg would be better for stacking stuns as they get their AoE stun a little bit earlier than grav.

Crowd Control - Range 8 ft Arc 180*
Whirling Mace - Range 10 ft Arc 360*

If they had a way to group up the enemies very closely they could make very good use of these attacks. If only there was some powerset the could group them up...

Not to mention that grav/ will do more control in a duo situation than fire/ (and solo), they aren't even close for teams though. Fire/nrg is also VERY endurance heavy.
  13. Earth is more thematic (IMO), it has harder controls and tons of them. Fire is a high, but slow damaging secondary so it doesn't work best with plant/ since bosses only take a few seconds to kill a nearby neighbor.
  14. DB/Nin should work out just fine in later levels.

I run a Grav/NRG as well but find myself woefully ignorant of any changes. COuld someone fill me in as to what the deuce has changed?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Everything? Lift does more damage and power push does MUCH more damage (more than 4 times more).
  16. In pve you'd want to stack stuns so I'd go with grav/nrg.
  17. What type of brute is your friend?

That may be fair enough, I have no experience with singularity so I can't really comment on it. I do know the first 25 levels are pretty terrible. Is singularity really that much better than all the other dom's pets?

    [/ QUOTE ]

It just allows you to spend more time attacking rather than controlling. It is a nice pet, no aggro problems, no attack cycle problems, no end problems, and no survivability problems, but it has no damage.
  19. What's flares...? My earth/fire rocks. He is also is hot. Still no stamina at level 33 (I have consume though).
  20. I also think they are going to do more grav/ changes (since it's complained about so much and it barely got changed) so I'll keep an eye out for those.
  21. I think it actually works best with thugs. The high heal/sec heal works great on single targets taking a lot of damage (bruiser). And the modifier changes depending on which pet you use it on so if you use it on the tier 3 (the only tier 3 that is melee is bruiser) it will be a better debuff. Also, neurotoxic breath or any long range permanent slow works great for keeping enemies out of range of your ranged pets (which is why merc/TA works so well).

    Changes? As in plural?

Um... the only thing changed in Grav is that Lift got normalized. It's now on par with Levitate.

Basically, if you didn't like Grav before, this patch won't suddenly make you love it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is what I was thinking. Nobody like grav now. (k, maybe Dark_Current and some others) and no one but them will like it afterwards. It's still broken from what I can see (10 min left for test download...).
  23. I'm just wondering if the change to gravity went far enough. Test is STILL downloading for me so I'll test it when it gets up, but in appearance it doesn't seem like it fixes it's issues (dimension shift and wormhole).
