  1. Are you talking about the first or the second one? I'm still on the first but it's gone past the mark for 1/4 already, it's progressing too but at a real crawl of a pace, so perhaps thats what is making it seem to be stuck. I don't know, I haven't read anything about a bugged progress bar on it but it certainly could be the case, you might want to check the vidiotmaps forums and see if anyone's mentioned it there.

...still, about time you guys were put on an extended waiting list, instead of the other way around.
  2. For the healing one? Seems to be working for me although if someone tells me the progress bar is actually the bar for all three badges I'd be very, very happy... since it's taking an age to fill.

also thats hard enough, but whats new for me is that it looks to be even harder to get sum simple serious answers about it lol.

Erm, you got plenty of serious and informative answers about it, don't blame the other posters if you cannot take that information in. They did their bit to help.

...if he uses his head, adapts and actually stalks ( ) he can get by.

Judging by the average Stalker /broad messages going about in the PvP zones, I'd hazard a guess that particular class of Stalker is the minority.
  5. They add extra control, as an aux item, the supercomputer provides far more but is very expensive. The megamonitor SG badge is very easy to get (you just need 5 other SG badges and those can be beacons) but at present is bugged, so the megamonitor doesn't show up in the base editor.

It's amazing what time away from the game and a fresh perspective on things will do.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Figured you might end up feeling that way, welcome back.
  7. The Vidiotmaps listing is incomplete, and incorrect at present, needs updating badly. Tricky finding a good list of SG Badges and requirements at the moment, you generally have to piece together information from various sources.

Think your SG needs to keep healing to unlock Spirit Signal/AutoSurgeon upgrader thingy for the Resurrector/Reclamators.

    [/ QUOTE ]

It's an awful lot of healing too, especially for smaller SG's. I've pushed it to about 35% with my defender thus far but that's taken quite some time to do, especially when I'm the only one playing a healing-type at present.
  9. Sounds like a certain someone whose name may or may not be related to a certain animal you might expect to see in a farm, or field. They've been spending increasingly large amounts of time in the Hollows lately and being incredibly annoying with their broadcast spamming too.

    Accolade time

Not interested in the exp but I believe my Scrapper only needs the Fake Nemesis badge now for his Freedom Phalanx accolade. If I'm around at that time I'll stop by.

    Random musings.

Yep, starter room with the portal in it costs you nothing, so you could just go ahead and move the portal to a corner then proceed to decorate to some extent. As the only person in your SG you'll eventually be able to build other rooms but we're talking quite some time here, also bear in mind that your level 38 will not gain influence whilst in SG mode, only prestige.
  12. You'll need to save up a lot of prestige to get a functional base, basically. Takes a while depending on the number of players in your SG.
  13. For your information, not once did I say you killed them, I said it's hilarious for the person who ENDS up dying. Is that past tense? No? Don't be such a hypocrite then.
  14. Hear hear, the stalkers I mentioned when I was grouped with Tyl got very vocal about how unfair/unearned it was when we started killing them.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
I noticed the stalker hadn't landed on the building with me, they had carried on over the edge and dropped into a spawn of longbow. Made me giggle .

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure it'd be just as funny for the person who ends up dying that way and receiving experience debt due to the TPer's exploit. Surprising the number of "funny moments" on this topic that are actually recounting some example of bug exploitation or poor sportsmanship.

Had an amusing 45mins with Tylantia a day or two ago in Siren's Call on my defender, against a team of stalkers who had to hold each others' hand everywhere, we had a bit of a laugh at their expense seeing as we were the only two heroes out there at the time.
  16. Cheers Snow, I'll be setting up ours soon, useful to see working placement and it's actually pretty nicely implemented in your SG base.
  17. Hazard zones are areas with level requirements that usually encompass a trial in them somewhere after completing the story arc for the area, as opposed to standard city zones which usually have a trainer etc. They exist in CoV too but aren't labelled hazard zones since the Rogue Isles obviously don't conform to Paragon City's way of doing things, the "Hazard Zones" are behind guarded checkpoints that leave "Paragon City Protected" areas. PvP zones are entirely seperate, it's just not too clear since the same naming conventions don't neccesarily carry across between the two games, along with other stuff like the community information terminals.

Edit: Incidentally, in CoV you can teleport to non-hazard zone locations without issue, places like Mercy Island and Port Oakes for example. The equivalent areas in CoH you cannot add as teleport locations, only the hazard zones, so it's a little less useful for heroes than it is villains.
  18. You won't be able to build it first, you need adequate power and control to run stuff before anything else, otherwise it just won't work.

So you build an energy generation room, a control room, a power generator and control system, then you buy a hospital room which IIRC costs 100000. After that, the reclamators/rez circle cost 10000 each to place. That's what you need for basic functionality, if you wish to have it heal for more hitpoints or inspiration dispensers you either need to gather enough salvage, build a workshop, workbenches and create them that way, or unlock them with SG badges.
  19. My scrapper is getting a bit of a build up of arcane salvage and it's pretty useless to our SG since we use tech, if possible I'd like to trade that for an equivalent amount of tech. So if any arcane using SG's want to arrange a trade, I have the following:

    20x Amulet
    6x Bracer
    1x Charm
    3x Crystal Skull
    1x Demonlogica
    5x Ectoplasmic Residue
    1x Fir Bolg Hand
    4x Glittershrooms
    17x Hex
    2x Magma
    9x Orichalcum
    20x Potion
    2x Pumice
    9x Sigil
    10x Tatoo
    3x Witch's Hat

Edit: Updated quantities, got some more since posting.
  20. Didn't Kej already have a nice badge site? If that was the case and not just me imaginging things he could integrate the whole thing into that, put a nice little guide up about how to join the channel etc.
  21. It's a badger wot iz defiant. That's what it is.

Hes 15 or something right? Thats no excuse of being an total idiot. I know younger people who are polite and reasonably tolerable (hey Aubie).

Unfortunately these days it is, the majority of kids around that age bracket in online games will always act like they're half of it, the good ones are the minority unfortunately but I've met a few players as young as 10yrs old who shocked the hell out of me because you could swear they were much older. There are some genuinely mature kids around who don't act like morons, but unfortunately they are still the minority amongst their age bracket, and the rest will be idiots.

Currently there is a right cretin on the forums who likes to post in block capitals and say hello to everyone on global with a single word, again in block caps; it's a slang word you might use for a cigarette. He's probably a little older than 15yrs old but certainly nowhere near his twenties, and acts like a complete moron 90% of the time, just shines a bad light on his age bracket as a whole.
