You have to unlock it with an SG badge, Swampy. It's either that or craft it from worktables.
I *think* the supercomputer SG badge is unlocked by getting 5 other SG badges, so go and grab a few exploration badges from the hazard zones in SG badge, unlock five beacons and you should get the supercomputer in the base editor. If you wait till the next patch goes live you won't even have to venture into hazard zones to achieve it, since they're adding beacons for every zone in CoH. Yeah yeah yeah, whatever. DeathDude, Cerberus, Pious and Dark Hadou so far. Any more joiners?

You do realise these comments are directed at the rather blinkered fire/rad guide, don't you? Unless of course you subscribe to the same limited view you don't have anything to be worried about. -
You're looking way too far ahead, the kind of decline you're talking about would have to take place over quite a long stretch of time, you're easily looking at a year minimum for an SG of 75 members. In that time the entire rent system is planned to be evaluated by development, and anyone with a little faith in the development team would likely agree it'll be dealt with.

I think you pretty much covered the bases there, Archy. One addition though: IR isn't just vertical movement, it removes inertia and drag from all movement. This means greater air control and response than you find in superjump, and if someone on your team happens to be using flight it allows them to lose the inertia too. Combine that with the benefits of siphon speed and speed boost and you have increased endurance regeneration and vastly heightened mobility; you're only killing stuff as fast as you can move from one group of enemies to another. Yep, I'd of course refine the salvage into components for anyone wishing to trade, but since you're on Union and my haul is on Defiant I can't help you much there. Sorry.
-
Nowhere near that amount of arcane salvage (I don't think) but I could certainly offload some of it on you if you wanted to trade, it's been building up a bit again. That said, however, you didn't mention which server or whether you're talking hero/villain faction here.

Well as most of you know they are supposed to be permanently upping the rate of prestige earning so that might make things a bit more affordable.
Then didn't Bridger say something about them examining base rent too?
[/ QUOTE ]
Test server has the 25% extra prestige patch on it right now, and Positron mentioned the possibility of cost reduction nearing I8 along with the added possibility of no rent dependant on plot size. Bear in mind that when Posi mentioned this stuff he would already have been fully aware of the 25% increase patch being due to hit live imminently. -

I'm pretty sure that some people on the edge of the bubble were teamed with people in the Hold Team/s and didn't receive a HO.
[/ QUOTE ]
*Raises hand*
We had two of our team members in the hold group, and I was stood just outside the jelly. -
That scratches that theory then, guess we're back to it being erratic. You'd think there would be at least some reproducable pattern to it.
-
No, no, you misunderstand. What I speculated in the other post was perhaps everyone had to get their 1 attack in at some point while he was below 50% or perhaps even 25% health in order to get credit. As it stands we all did it while he was at 100% and then the hold phase started with the rest of us withdrawn to outside the jelly. I'm wondering whether everyone who didn't receive an HO had only attacked him during that pre-hold phase (at ~100%), and everyone who did had snuck a hit or two in during the holding phase thus ensuring themselves credit.
Either way though, Cricket has acknowledged it as a bug on the US boards and stated that a fix is in the works, so it's obviously not WAI whatever went wrong. I'm hoping in the meantime that our petitions don't get us wasted time and extra aggravation. -

iirc it's like an outside kill.. if you are too far away from that which did the final damage you don't recieve the reward.. and I believe from what I've seen, and people have said, that Hamidon works the same way.
So being on "cowards hill" or anywhere far enough away = no Hami-O
[/ QUOTE ]
Again, this is not the case. As I posted on the other topic: I was stood directly outside of the Hami jelly with many other players, we were in range, and we'd ensured that we had dealt damage during the pre-hold phase. -
I don't think it's the strategy at all, especially not if there's a topic about the exact same issue on the US forums, with a redname acknowledging a bug and stating they're working on a fix. No, the raid went smoothly and everything was organised well, it's just thanks to some bug/glitch a good chunk of us didn't get credit for it come the end. Erratic too if what Xanthus said about someone brawling once getting rewarded, and others who dealt more damage getting nothing.
-
Was nigh on three hours for me, arrived there around 6:30pm, raid ended at roughly 9:20pm. Have posted on both topics, we won't be hearing anything from support about it on a Sunday though, I just don't want to hear any nonsense along the lines of "as we cannot verify you infact dealt damage to hamidon we cannot award you the HO you did not receive".
-
Raid was fun if a little disappointing/irritating to see no HO reward at the end of it, I'm another in the club of those who didn't receive one. I made doubly sure that I'd hit and caused damage and I actually used two seperate attacks which both registered to make sure, since Xanth stated no more than two hits would be necessary.
Have petitioned and bugged it, not very impressed with how erratic it is on the raid reward at all. -
Went very smoothly indeed... although 2K5 seemed to be doing his own thing for the majority of the TF, he only died a handful of times though so all in all a good day considering he's a blaster. Erm, sorry, blapper. Can't fault the guy, he was in there with the tank and scrapper at every fight he was standing for.

That new site design is pretty damn good, it's just a shame you chose to use tables for layout rather than keeping your html semantic, tends to make the page break when people resize their text too. Could have made it standards compliant as well (sorry if I'm sounding a little anal, I'm a designer by trade). It's a very good design though, the rollovers are subtle yet effective and I really like your flash applet on the left; especially the little glint you've added to the glasses at the end and the way it continually loops every few seconds after that.

Very nice, pretty unique as well as far as creative posts go. Certainly gets points for originality.

I may well be, as my defender if I'm around, he's grouped with you before too.
If I'm in the game I'm up for it at any rate, send a tell to @Avernal. -

It's so worth every penny though, quality software. Now Macromedia have merged with them too, so you have the two industry leaders for web-design software working together, can only mean good things. -
It's a very good piece, there's something a little off about the perspective of her left arm though, I think that is probably what is to blame for the "stiff" appearance mentioned. Anti-aliasing on the lineart would've made it a lot stronger a piece too.

When?? What date?? A bit more information would be nice so I can avoid logging on till after that date?

When are you cancelling your account and leaving for good, Krazy?
I feel that's a perfectly reasonable question, in light of your own. -
If these are image manipulation or you've altered your textures to display the work you should really use this method for Jay's costume suggestions thread to give visual examples. I imagine it'd prove quite useful.

Ah.... i miss seeing these in Atlas Park when i first started playing the game... good times... *sniffle*

I intend to see to it that they start occuring again, with some semblance of frequency. My defender hit 50 tonight and he's short of ideas to spend his influence on. -
Grats Alyssa, had the pleasure of teaming with you on several occasions and you're always good fun to team with.
