Hamidon. Unless I wouldn't be able to leave the Hive or Abyss. Then I'd probably roll as a Robotics/Radiation Emission custom Mastermind. Can't leave the Architect building?
Okay, fine. Captain Mako. Game, set, and match. -

I wonder if those are connected somehow.
Also, I believe more than a few supervillains have opined that such qualities as mercy, love and honor separating us from the animals are in truth just manifestations of mankind's arrogance. Of course, they often get taken down in The Final Battle, either by the hero's courage and determination or by their own errors in judgement(for instance, charging forward to kill the hero only to fall off a cliff to their death when the hero quickly steps to the side). So, who cares what they think?
Of course, in a NON-fantasy setting, there's really not much black-and-white cases of good vs. evil. I'd cite an example of how gray these conflicts can be, but I'd rather not get banned for setting off a political flamewar. -

Quote:She looks fine to me.I like all of the versions of the outfit you see posted in this thread, but, if you use mainly dark colors with dark skin, that just doesn't seem right to me. See, I found that dark colors show up better if the character has a lighter skin color as contrast, so why not try a lighter skin color on the character with the final outfit look and colors you decided to go with? You don't need a really light brown skin color, but try using a slightly lighter brown skin color than you're using right now, and see what you get. You just might like the look you get!
Very fine. -
Quote:The result would be one of two things.I have a question!
Regarding this. I have a character, a Peacebringer, who early in her career was captured by a Nictus scientist and experimented on. During this, he implanted an N-Fragment into her which had some thoroughly unpleasant consequences.
Is this feasible canonicly? If so, what sort of consequences could be reasonably expected?
This...
...or perhaps this. -
Okay, here's one that's been bothering me for some time. Apparently, in order to be a member of the Freedom Phalanx, your secret identity is required to be made public. Statesman's justification is that it helps citizens trust them more easily, but it doesn't take Lord Nemesis to come up with the idea of booby-trapping their homes or endangering their friends and family on a daily basis. That seems like the kind of thing that'd make people appreciate the presence of superheroes LESS.
My question is, how many lives have been ruined or even lost because of this ridiculously naive policy? -

Welcome to the City of Heroes TwitterTracker! Where we sift through the weak tweets to give you HOT TWIT ON A STICK!
This one's fresh from Melissa Bianco, AKA War Witch! She writes:

The closest I've ever gotten to a "bad GM" is someone whose only fault was slightly broken English, and that they had lost their connection while zoning into a mission that had spawned Devouring Earth far above my level.* That I replied that I knew how it felt to get disconnected like that could have been a factor in getting the mission auto-completed.
*This was before we were given the ability to skip missions that are either bugged or too difficult. -
- Werner von Skülgrab: He would 'awww', then start wondering why this is the only animal other than seagulls that he's ever seen in the Rogue Isles. He would then pick it up and take it home for genetic tests. However, one of his lower-grade Atomic Robot Zombie Men would most likely eat the kitten when he wasn't looking.
- Internet Tough Guy: As cats are sacred to his kind, he would not harm the kitten in any way(additionally, setting on fire anyone who would). However, he probably wouldn't be able to take it home with him because of his pet Rikti Monkey, Biscuit.
- Sparksteam: Being a calculating, efficiency-oriented machine, he would not feel one way or the other about the kitten, and would thusly ignore it. However, should this kitten become an obstacle to his goals, he would have no choice but to eliminate it.

Don't forget the following!
- When you see a Mature Roleplayer who isn't mature at all(for example, the character tries to rip someone's arms out of their sockets on sight), drink a shot.
- DON'T drink if you see a character that is a trademark violation or simply a Mary-Sue. However, if you see someone that is BOTH, drink two shots.
- Whenever you see a male character that emits pheremones but STILL can't score, have a good chuckle and drink a shot.
- If you see a scantily-clad female character with a suggestive bio in their Description accompanied by the claim they are NOT an ERP character, drink a shot.
- Any time you see someone get a drink WITHOUT complaining about the bartender dancing all the time or relying on a player RPing a 'real bartender', drink a shot.

I would TOTALLY roll a Toddler...
...but I don't do ERP. -
I think that at the very least, the trainers and some of the contacts should act kind of like turrets if hostiles get too close. Imagine the following...
- Uh oh! Somebody forgot about the ambushes from the aura mission and has drawn them towards the fledgling heroes training under Valkyrie! Well, not a problem anymore. Positron uses his Radiation Blasts against the level 30 Freakshow, and Valkyrie's cool spear-gun-thing mops up any that managed to avoid Positron's assault!
- So you're a villain just trying to buy and/or sell enhancements. Suddenly, zombie invasion. That corpse coming out of the ground is no problem though, because the Quartermaster sees him and goes BOOM! HEADSHOT!
-
What the heck, I'll ask these questions anyway. I MUST KNOW!
- When Positron was still trapped inside his armor, did he need to eat? And if so, how did he dispose of the resulting "hazardous materials"?
- Having feline DNA, does Mynx(and by extension, the Praetorian Bobcat) display any of the REALLY annoying cat traits like scratching the furniture, being indecisive when it comes to going outside, killing and bringing small animals into the house, or yowling for hours on end when she's 'lonely'?
- Have there been any incidents where a Portal Corporation employee finds a TV show, movie, book or video game that does not exist on Primal Earth, brings it back, and uploads it to the Internet? If so, what happened next, legally speaking?

Look at what I had highlighted in yellow. How do you buy a Super Booster without knowing about one of the things it does?

Quote:I have a friend that somehow got the ability to edit the scale (male/female/huge) settings for their characters costume after the initial set up. He is able to do this by talking to a tailor with 'surgeon' in their name, but he doesnt know how he is allowed to do this.
Does anybody else know how to get this ability at all?Quote:You get it with the SuperScience booster

Quote:Maybe they're going by how it works in the real world, where New Age nonsense like alchemy and homeopathic potions aren't NEARLY as effective as modern medicine.2) I think the accolade powers for Physician (Prof + Caregiver, giving you a revive ally) and Alchemist (Midnighter + Caregiver, giving you an ally heal) should be swapped. My reasoning: right now, doctors bring the dead back to life, while alchemists just help them get over small illnesses. Seems more logical the other way around. Go to college and work at a hospital, and you too can heal people who haven't died yet. But work at a hospital and learn some magic on the side, and maybe you can conquer death itself. The use of the more empathic animation for heal while using the the tricorder with revive ally makes me think it's working as intended, but still, it makes more sense to me if Physicians could heal while Alchemists could revive the dead (well... the "mostly dead," anyway).
