  1. I threw together a DB/SR build for good measure.

-Top attack chain(BF/AS/SS/AS) with only about a 0.05 second gap between attacks.
-Very good HP/Sec levels with Radial Rebirth(Spiritual boosted).
-Endurance stable with the use of Conserve Power whenever it's up.
-Incarnate softcap(59%) to Melee and Ranged

But yeah, if you can afford to kit it out, Invulnerability is very nice these days. I'd probably go with that over Super Reflexes.

Speaking of which, I should get back to leveling my Dark Melee/Invuln Scrapper. I'm kind of burned out on the incarnate trials. Haven't played for days. Though with the higher resistance caps and hit points, maybe I should actually get back to leveling my Dark Melee/Invuln Brute. Hmmm.
Doing the same trials over and over again burned me out as well, I still have my Blaster to Incarnate out.

As for SR and Invuln, SR does give you more recharge which makes getting to the top attack chains easier(Dual Blades would be good for this as its top chain requires a ton of recharge). And if you're really into doing trial content, reaching the "Incarnate Softcap" will be much easier on SR.
  3. I have Rage on a 65 second recharge on my Brute without Ageless, and it's not as perma as I'd like it. Cast time and the fact that it's not on auto means that it's a few seconds off perma in regular play, and I can't cast it during the crash to maximize effectiveness. When I feel like getting perma though, I pick up the 1 hour +20% recharge empowerment buff.

I also have the FF +recharge proc in Foot Stomp to get me over the 65 second timer, but I won't be using that in a ST attack chain where DPS matters most.
  4. That's actually 41.3%, make sure you have combat suppression turned on so Stealth gives you the right value. But if you add two Rectified Reticles to both Aim and BU you'll get to 45% with that build.
  5. Yes, Bruising helps a lot for Tanker ST damage, and now with Reactive's DoT Tankers can deliver awesome amounts of ST DPS. The only downside is that Bruise doesn't stack at all with itself(even from multiple casters). And of course that it's just for single targets.

80% bonus on top of 160% isn't as great.

It's still a great power for both ATs, but tanks benefit from it more.

Also, as Willpower, you will have to actively try a little harder to hold agro than some builds. The taunt aura in WP (RttC) is pretty weak compared to some others.
That is true before exterior damage buffs are considered.

On Tankers, 175% from Rage and enhancements means that you begin to stop benefiting from Rage if you get over 125% from damage buffs.

On Brutes, 335% from Rage, enhancements, and Fury means that you begin to stop benefiting from Rage if you get over 340% from damage buffs.
  7. They are referring to Debuff Resistance, as in, giving the allies and the caster resistance to Defense, Recovery, Endurance, Recharge, Movement Speed, Regen, Perception, and ToHit Debuffs.

It is not adding a resistance debuff to your attacks.

Heck, I have a Cardiac on my Fire Tank, and there are mobs out there that are draining me enough in the trials that I need Consume: and I have a fair amount of end and end recovery bonuses.
I didn't say disregard endurance entirely, of course you want to be able to exemp down and not go dry in seconds.

Together, stupid-awesome stuff happens.
My Fortitude can give +60% defense and +88% ToHit, it's crazy.
  10. With the crazy amounts of end management in Ageless coupled with the Cardiac Alpha, I don't think you need to invest too much in +recovery IO's anymore.

That would be my assumption as well, especially since Power Boost doesn't work on it.

Good to know, I thought something was up when the description had it and the real numbers didn't show anything KB related.

Yes, you will get an extra 2.8% defense from Weave for the duration of Power Boost.

    Quote:
    And, Tough won't? (why?)
Tough can slot resistance enhancements so it will not be affected. Also, Power Boost doesn't boost Resistance.

Will the run speed debuff of my Cryo ammunition increase even if the -recharge doesn't? And, will it last longer or slow more?
The only thing that can change is the strength of the movement speed debuff, however I'm not sure if Power Boost affects it as there is no "slow" component, only a run speed/fly speed one.

Knocking back further. The chance of knockback can't change.

    Anything else?

    please?
The duration of your Stun/Hold power (suppressive fire) will improve, making it easier to stack its magnitude in order to Stun/Hold tougher enemies(Bosses, EB's).

Your defense debuffs will improve, though that's negligible.

    My next brute

And if you want to avoid SS and still have that smashy smashy feel, go for War Mace. WM/SD is a very good combo, especially if you have someone to back up your endurance early on like a Kin.

I haven't seen a top end SS Brute attack chain that doesn't have Punch, except for FA characters who use Burn instead.

    Is jab worth it?

Once you get some recharge in your better attacks it's not very useful, and If you want a filler attack there's always Boxing from the fighting pool.
  17. Dark Melee has more attractive stuff than Dark Consumption. Soul Drain is awesome(makes your damage aura better), and so is Siphon Life and the thematic match with DA.

The lack of any good AoE's up until you get your ancillary pool AoE is definitely a turn-off though.
  18. There are tons of threads on this subject already, I suggest you look around.

I see 7 other threads with "Farm" in the title, on the first page of the Brute forums alone.
  19. Tier 4 Ageless gives you a bit over 20% global recharge on average, and tons of recovery or debuff resistance.

DA can certainly be endurance hungry due to Dark Regen, and so can Mace due to Clobber.

Also, powerboost DOES affect personal force field from the Mace mastery PPP even though it has a resistance component. I run this on my mind/energy dom and when looking at the in game numbers the defense portion of these powers are boosted when I use power boost.

I'm curious about scorpion shield though. Anyone know if this is boosted? Thanks
Like I said, any power that can slot resistance enhancements is not affected by Power Boost. While PFF has a resistance component, it cannot slot resistance enhancements.

Since Scorpion Shield can't slot resistance enhancements Power Boost will work, though it will only enhance it for the duration of Power Boost.

    /SS change?

SS didn't change, perhaps you were fighting grey cons.

It won't, -recharge is never enhanceable.

This isn't true, though. Defender trappers get better pseudo-pets.

    Go figure.
Unless the attack is an AoE, the defiance bonus and duration depends solely on its cast time. There's no bias towards any powers.
