This really sounds more like Ouroboros material here. Especially since, uh, if this is so important, why keep it on ice for 7 years?

It makes sense if a time traveler recently intervened, though.

I’m getting kind of a cheeseball 80’s era vibe off the custom villains. Maybe because they’re led by the evil supercomputer from Captain Planet.

Really getting a cartoony vibe off this whole state of affairs, actually.

    —

Hmm. Well, congratulations, you’ve got the second blue cave I’ve ever seen in all the Architect missions I’ve ever played.

…are there other lieuts than the dark miasma guy? I only seem to see him around.

You know, if the ALL was hoping this would never be found, you’d think someone in the mission would have said something to that effect.

    —

Why does she want a book when the world is full of treasure? Why indeed, contact. Why indeed.

Man, if that’s not a line leading into a Very Special Episode I don’t know what is.

Liberty doesn’t have a “you lost me” text, which is nice to have on a map that’s slightly uneven like this outdoor one.

Fighting what looks to be a custom group that’s some DE mixed with a splash of Rularuu - are you using specific DE or the random spawner? If it’s specific DE, you should probably be using the random spawner because there are some DE (I noticed some Deathblossoms and Granites) who don’t give experience but still drop inspirations. Maybe they’re special trial spawns or something?

Anyway, the boss lady is a pretty nice fight — though if she had elec armor as her aura suggested the anti-knockback part of it didn’t seem to be working. But I have one suggestion for her powers. PLEASE drop Carrion Creepers. They stay up for a huge amount of time, even when the caster is dead, and never stop spawning little vines. I was five spawns away when I finally got the clue drop for her defeat.

    —

Awwwww, not Red Atlas. Even though glowies are easy to find, bosses and allies like to hide in broken-walled chambers with smoke on top.

And the main enemy group is a bunch of high-level enemies, some of whom come from entirely different dimensions, thrown together for what the mission briefing as much as admits is no good reason.

Statesy, I know where the glowies are in Red Atlas, but just saying “near the building” doesn’t mean much. I’m surrounded by buildings! Some of them have fallen over! You can say “near the ruins of City Hall” and that’ll work out fine!

…oh, wait, this is modern-day Statesman jumped by these mooks? Not future implicitly-depowered Statesman? Last time anything held Statesman down it was an entire evil dimension.

    —

    So, last mission.

I really wish this custom group had another lieutenant. Stuff is packed so closely here that a hostage spawn has the very real possibility to put me up against more Fearsome Stares than I can carry Break Frees.

The stormer hostage is on the edge of a cliff. Because she’s running Hurricane even though she’s captured her guards are being blown down to the level below, and I have to act fast to wipe out the last one because his pathing back up only puts him not in range of Hurricane for about two seconds.

What can I say about the stormer? There are maps that ally stormers are good in. This is not one of them. Between the uncontrolled knockback and the sheer cliffs I wound up clearing out most of the valley even though absolutely no objectives were there, just because the stormer galed something down, all the allies chased it, and because of tornado/lightning storm/runners another group down below was alerted, and so on, and so on.

Her earth control primary doesn’t necessarily bring that crazy knockback under control.

Given how much the nav bar wanted me to find Statesman, I was expecting something broken like extreme inv/extreme SS from the last boss. His actual powerset, I didn’t really need Statesey to make much of a dent in his health bar.

Also, he gets flattened against the forcefield at the back of the graveyard by a gale in fine old Wile E. Coyote fashion.

    —

Storyline - ***. And… that kinda encapsulates my feelings about the arc in general and its story in particular. I can’t take it seriously. But I don’t know if I’m supposed to. I would not be surprised at all to find that this is a bedtime story being told to Rose Jones, a 7-year old girl somewhere in Paragon City with a sparkly pink poster of Ms Liberty on her wall. It operates under its own brand of dream logic, which is the best way I can think of to explain MAL, an evil guy who sits around doing evil things and takes away the costume and swords from Rose Jones in the future so she’ll never grow up to be a superhero. (There’s a guy who’s got a hate on for Statesman and put together his own band of nefarious no-goodniks and born malcontents in order to hand him his big red butt in a sling. His name’s Lord Recluse. And even if MAL has himself a time machine, he feels a little less than menacing next to our unfriendly neighborhood spider-man.) But if I am just a bit part in a bedtime story, I’d like a contact who reflects that. Princess Bride-style, maybe?

Design - **. The lack of a second lieutenant in the custom group leads to waaaaayyyyy too much incoming fear. Most of the maps are pretty quiet as far as dialogue is concerned - the patrols don’t talk, and even allies don’t speak up when they get separated from you. And acknowledging that the future group is just a random mishmash doesn’t really make it any less a random mishmash. Here’s an idea for free - in the future there isn’t any native life on this Earth. Visitors come to scavenge from other dimensions - the Rikti and Axis America and Praetorians and Rularuu and Psychic Clockwork and another dimension’s Nemesis - but generally they don’t fight because there’s way more planet than any one group can salvage from.

Gameplay - ***. Pretty much down to the stormer adding 10 minutes of clearing in the valley by galing somebody off the edge and everyone chasing. Twice.

Detail - **. The smallest mook in MAL’s army of evil has a longer bio than MAL himself. That just ain’t right. Minions get a couple lines, the master has a history. A lot of the interactible objects are missing interrupt and completion text - the portal in the outdoor map has an empty interact bar. And Ms. Liberty flips back and forth between earnestly begging for my help in the pre-mission and snapping at me for not having finished yet when I bug her. It got to the point where I wondered if I was doing something nefarious for a villain wearing a clever disguise.

Overall - **. A simple story that really needs a better framing device, and some tweaks to make a more evenly weighted custom group and a less frustrating final mission.

Hello, I am not sure if you have an official policy on this, but I would like formally ask that you re-review my arc.

I have made many changes based on suggestions that you and others have made, and I hope the arc is better because of it.

Honestly of all the reviews I have received, many of which were filled with criticism, yours was the only one that upset me. The reason is this. I was so pleased by the fact that you broke your ratings down to categories. To me this meant that you could potentially 1 star the story and 5 star the rest. This lead me to believe you would separate your personal liking of a story from the other parts that you rate.

Based on this assumption your review both baffled and disappointed me. You gave me a 2 stars on detail. NEVER in my life have I ever been accused of lacking detail. In fact just the opposite. I am way too verbose. No one I ask can understand why you gave 2 stars on details. I understand your point about MAL's bio being short but in fact even that criticism had a contradiction because you stated "The smallest mook in MAL’s army of evil has a longer bio than MAL himself". The small mooks bios are in fact detail. I was having and am still having lots of space issues. Details on MAL were in a mission 5 pop-up. Perhaps you missed that. Based on your criticism, I moved it into his bio.

I was also baffled by your final rating of 2 stars. Because, the numbers you gave averaged to 2.5. In your thread intro you said that in these situations you round up or down based on your gut feel. In your review you said "Storyline - ***. And… that kinda encapsulates my feelings about the arc in general". If 3 encapsulates your feelings in general, why did you 2 star the arc?

Please re-review and give me some insight. Thanks

I have an arc that has a Boss level Manticore in it as an ally, and he easily survives a protracted fight with an EB that summons thugs and ambushes. A Boss level Statesman would still have quite the survivability, but not as much ridiculous damage. The same would go for the custom allies. I realize that defensive toggles love to drop when allies are rescued, but they still benefit from auto powers. Liberty Rose and Agent Liberty are both Willpower, if I recall, meaning that they benefit from the increased hit points, inherent resistance to all kinds of damage, and increased regen rate.

Agent Liberty even managed to die somehow during the last fight, presumably from drawing extra aggro, and rezzed herself. You could easily do the same for Liberty Rose, if her not dying is your main concern. Besides, her "dying" isn't really dying, if you take into account the medical transporter. In the last mission she's become a registered hero, and thus would have access to that. Besides, it's not so much their survivability that is the issue. I have no problem if allies are popping all kinds of tier 9 powers and self rezzing. It's mainly the high level of damage output. The allies had quite a lot of high damage powers, and both Agent Liberty and Liberty Rose had a build up power. Even one of the allies can make the player feel like they're not needed.

As far as saving them last, in doing my reviews I try to make sure that I'm seeing everything, including how powerful an ally is. Simply a matter of being thorough and seeing what people playing the mission could experience.

I understand completely, but as I'm an example of, they can get incredibly frustrating. It's not so much the fact that there is an enemy with a fear power, it's the fact that I ran into a lot of them, especially on the outdoor map where it can be hard sometimes not to aggro another group. Making them Boss rank would mean that they would show up very rarely, making it so the fear power doesn't show up enough to get aggravating, and yet keeping the enemy still in the arc and intact.

That wasn't so much of a negative point, just a note about a particular point that made me scratch my head.

All that said, I'm coming up on the end of my queue, and I've been thinking about going back and playing the arcs that I've reviewed and posting an updated rating and a quick notation of the changes and how I feel about them. Nothing too detailed, more of an addendum to my previous review. As I look at this as both a place to give constructive feedback as well as a review, it seems good to give a new take on things that have been updated. A 2 or 3 star may have moved up in rank, and if it has become better, than people reading my review thread should know.

I have made several adjustments to my arc based on suggestions that I have received from you and other reviewers.

My evil Fireys, no longer have "rain of fire". I downgraded my allies to boss level except for "Liberty" and Statesman. I tried Liberty at boss and I could easily make her die, which ruined the light-hearted feel good concept of the arc. I also modifed the ally behavior to fight defensively, so they don't go "Lady Jane" on you.

My personal feeling is that the arc is best enjoyed at level 1 or 2 as a controller or a tank. If I hold the dreaded "Fearsomes", they do not present a problem. My intent for the arc was in fact a light-hearted, story and not an uber fight challenge, which is why I feel it is best enjoyed on level 1.

So when, you get a chance, could you replay it and see if you find it any better?

    Thanks

First I wanted to say thank you and your group for playing my arc. One of your team mates in gamed PMd me a 5 stars and a reason that made me smile. In your official in game feedback you told me to look for feedback in this thread.

I can't seem to find it. If you could post it or point me to it (I do have those days), I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

What I liked best: The nice custom villians and interesting plot
  5. I would like to get some input from you on how you feel about "overpowered allies".

I have received feedback from several critics who have played my arc that my allies are overpowered.

I did this by intent, since my arc is meant to be light-hearted and upbeat. I felt that if the allies died (one of which is key to the arc), it would ruin the story and the mood.

Also, I created them that way, to help lesser skilled players complete and enjoy the arc. As an aside, more skilled players I have watched play don't use them and don't seem to need them.

However, at least 3 critics have told me that my allies are overpowered, and that this hampered their enjoyment of my arc. I would love your opinion on this issue.

    Thanks
  6. I am looking for input as to what criteria people use when they rate arcs.

Officially I have seen the following:

    2 stars: Mediocre
    3 stars: Good
    4 stars: Excellent

I have personally never given an arc 1 star, and though I have 5 star rated arcs, it never shows that rating with text when I access MA. Have any of you seen the "official text" that goes with 1 stars or 5 stars?

I have learned, both from having my own arc reviewed, and from reading reviews of arcs I have played, that the ratings given out are very inconsistent. I have seen one mission arcs with no creativity at all sitting at 5 stars with more than 20 plays, and yet seen really serious, detailed story arcs with 3 star ratings.

Based on reviews I have read, it seems many feel 3 stars for an arc is "Good". This makes sense since that is the official text associated with a 3 star rating, but one person told me that 3 stars is what she would give a "radio mission like arc". Personally 3 stars felt like a C, at school and I also originally was very disappointed with a 3 star rating.

My current personal view is this:

Any one who obviously spent time and effort on an arc deserves at least 3 stars. It doesn't matter if I personally enjoy it or if it is too hard or too easy.

An arc that really grabs me in some way from me gets a 5 star rating. It can be really funny or have a great or unique story. It is an arc I loved playing.

For me 4 star arcs are ones that are really well done, but lack that special something to make it 5. It could be that I am really bored by the arc or that it is SO hard on the easiest setting that I can't appreciate the story because I am so busy fending off death.

I reserve 2 stars for one arc missions with almost no effort.

I have never given a 1 star rating.

So all this being said, I would love to hear what criteria others use to rate arcs.
  7. Hey I played you Arc# 159922 Agent Thunder Taskforce (Heroes) 45-54

It was so full of detail. Very challenging and fun. Two friends who came to help me both asked for the arc ID so they could replay.

I would love if you would try my arc:

In Pursuit of Liberty - 221702 by @Gypsy Rose

A few things you should know before you play. It has been called both too easy and too hard. Based on the challenge of your arc, I would say do not use the allies. They are there for people who want to enjoy the story and not needed for most really skilled players. Oddly my arc is hardest so far for scrappers.

Also, there is humor mixed in the arc, so if something seems way off to you most likely it is an attempt at humor.

Feel free to post yout impressions here or PM me.

    I hope you enjoy!

This arc was a fun challenge and so full of detail. Great for team play.

What I liked best: The customs which made the arc a challenge and yet still fun. I highly recommed this arc for a team. It is hard enough to be a challenge, but doable enough to be fun, and has a nice story to boot!

As an aside, this author played my arc and left an in game tell leaving this arc ID. I am really glad I played it.

This arc is amazing! Fun and well-written with great custom characters.

Reason: This arc is full of details, well-written and so much fun to play. Awesome!
  10. As far as I know you can't get purples with tickets. Some people have told me to choose a random gold recipee roll, but I have been very unlucky with this.

So for my higher level heroes, I choose a silver recipee roll and for my lower ones I take rare salvage. This has not gotten me rich, but my rewards have ranged from about 1 million to 15 million in general with this approach.

    I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for all of your input. You gave me some really good things to consider. I have already removed Rain of Fire. I am curious as to what level you played on. When I play arcs I generally am set on the easiest setting, so I can appreciate the story. Honestly, I have also for the most part tested my arc on that setting, and since adding a 2nd Lt. to my customs, I don't see too many of the much dreaded Fearsomes. I am afraid that if I make them a boss, people playing on the lowest difficulty level won't see them at all.

Per your comment on MAL's bio, I moved the details from the clue to his bio. I still contend that a 2 on detail is extremely harsh. The arc is filled with detail, tons of clues etc.

A whimsical tongue in cheek story that was marred by overpowered allies and annoying enemies.
Naturally I didn't care for the rating in the context of how many one mission arcs with no plot and almost no text are 4 and 5 stars, but WOW thank you for getting that is was "A whimsical tongue in cheek story". That made my day!

The only real thing that I can suggest outright is to increase the volume of humor. Whether the jokes will work or not, however, is a subjective thing and also a tricky one.
Again I am so glad you saw this. I have no room for more humor or more anything, as I am sitting at 99.45 space. However, my next arc, if I get the guts to create one, will be clearly humor based.

A Boss with custom power selections to give them a couple extra attacks and powers for survivability is sufficient. Statesman should also probably be the Boss version. As it stands, he's hitting enemies for 900+ damage.
The reason that Liberty and Statesman are so overpowered is due to who they are in the arc. If either by chance died, the arc and its "whimsical" nature would be ruined. Most really strong players I have seen play, don't use the allies, even Liberty they free last. Also watching such an overpowered Statesman fight is really kind of humorous and fitting with the nature of the arc.

Not to mention the long duration. Putting it on anything less than a boss is too much, since running into one in every other spawn, or getting unlucky and having multiple ones show up is murderous.

The Rain of Fire is bad because it causes the allies (and by extension, pets) to run like a madman in a random direction, aggroing everything they get near. On the last mission (which is on an outdoor map) I rescued Liberty Rose (who is a required objective) and in the very next fight a minion dropped Rain of Fire on me. Liberty Rose bolted past 3 other groups, past a fence, where she aggroed more groups, and then lost sight of me. This caused the things she had aggroed to turn on me. Now I was facing down about 5 of the aforementioned LTs with Fearsome Stare. As you can imagine, I was a very unhappy camper.

Also, what's up with the Devoured Pyrisses who randomly spawn in the third mission? Elite Bosses just standing around with no explanation as to why is not really a good thing, especially Devoured Pyriss, as she's a rather specific EB for a specific arc. Without her name or bio changed, it's kind of like having a bunch of Madames of Mystery standing around.
The Fearsome Followers were actually added to the group by request and already toned down a lot. Also a Fearsome Follower with no Fear would be like Spiderman without his spider powers. I can definitately ditch the Rain of Fire. I wondered why Liberty acted like a raving lunatic at times. Also I will look into your Dev Pyrisses comment. I put them there for the look of the future, and generally when I have run that mission, I have just completed the required objectives, and so I never had any issues with them.

Again thanks for your detailed review and your grasp of the intent of my arc.
  17. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your review of my arc:

In Pursuit of Liberty - 221702

You are a very constructive and detailed reviewer and I would recommend you to anyone.

If you are bored and care to relook at my arc to make sure I didn't introduce errors while attempting to improve it, that would be great.

If not keep up what you are doing! This board and the world need more people like you
  18. I somehow knew that you would not care for the arc. In general it seems to fluctuate wildly between 3 and 5 stars.

    Here are my responses:

Liking something is such a matter of taste and I have found, having gotten completely opposite advice, it is impossible to please everyone. (Ex one reviewer said change Little Liberty to little Liberty, the next said why little MUST be Little). This is just one example. I have gotten too easy and then too hard. Reading my reviews is a bit like reading Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.

As a general comment on the Allies, if you don’t like them don’t use them. They are there for people who need them. This way the arc could be easy on low level for those with less skill, and more of a challenge for more skilled players if set on a high level.

“I can’t take it seriously. But I don’t know if I’m supposed to. I would not be surprised at all to find that this is a bedtime story being told to Rose Jones.”

BINGO, in fact you almost hit the nail on the head here. One reviewer who really liked it called it “A Modern Day Fairy Tale”. The mission description now says ” WARNING: This arc may contain some humor. Play at your own risk!”. The intent of the arc is an origin story that doesn’t take itself SO seriously. Honestly, serious arcs at times are VERY boring. The risk with humor is not everyone gets it.

“The lack of a second lieutenant in the custom group leads to waaaaayyyyy too much incoming fear.”

I wish I could add a second lieutenant, and in fact tried, but I am at 99% space. What I did instead was change a minion to a Lt. This seemed to help.

“Detail - **. It got to the point where I wondered if I was doing something nefarious for a villain wearing a clever disguise”.

The above is what I take the most exception to; like it or not, the mission is full of detail, in fact 99% full. You contradict yourself by saying the "The smallest mook in MAL’s army of evil has a longer bio than MAL himself". With a statement like this, how can the arc deserve the 2 on detail? Should MAL have more bio, yes? Did you read the final clue of mission 5? Details on him were there. Because of space issues, I removed the clue and moved the details to his bio. As to your object comment, you said "A lot of the interactible objects are missing interrupt and completion text." I found only one missing completion text which I added. As to the missing interrupt text? Well I maxed out on space, and as it is visually obvious that you have been interrupted, I chose to keep other more important text instead.

How exactly does Ms. Liberty flipping have ANYTHING to do with lack of detail? That in fact was by intent. Some find it amusing, obviously you didn’t. There are tons of long winded intro dialogues out there that are so boring I can barely stand to read them.

This arc quite obviously is not for everyone. To play and enjoy it, you need to be someone appreciates light-hearted fun and who takes the arc as intended. I am no Shakespeare and I would never try to be. So many people in life take themselves WAY too seriously. I started this arc as a challenge to myself to create a 5 star arc. I have found that this is extremely difficult, in fact close to impossible. My hope now is that some people out there enjoy it. The criticism I have received at times has been valid and at times way too harsh; but the praise has been awesome! In the end, that makes it worth it.

Thanks for your feedback and detailed review.

First, I would like to thank you, both for taking the time to give me a detailed review, and for not rating an arc that you obviously did not care for. I was able to incorporate some of your suggestions into my arc to help make it better.

Secondly, I would like to respond to some of the issues that you raised.

The reason that she is an EB is because if she died, that would kind of ruin the arc. For those who want more of a challenge, well, save her last.

It seems like a random pile of existing mobs, honestly.
Actually the random mix of villains is by intent. This possible future is SO dark that villains who we never dream would band together have done just that and become extremely powerful. Read the mission begin clue. Perhaps it is a Nemisis plot.

I have addressed this issue. You were not alone in your dislike of the Fearsome Followers. Oddly I added them by specific request for someone who felt my arc was too easy. Goes to show...

Sadly I am maxed out at 99.45 space and adding custom descriptions isn't possible. The Garden Dwellers are all Dev Earth except for the Wisps. Why are the Wisps there? Well, the garden is enchanted. They give the mobs an enchanted feel. The Dark Alliance I addressed above.

Well having never personally met Ms. Liberty, I find it difficult to grasp exactly how one would know what is characteristic of her. She was chosen as my contact for reasons that will be obvious to anyone who plays the arc. My goal for her was to provide you with the necessary information without putting you to sleep. As a result, her dialogue is infused with humor (or attempts at humor). Some enjoy it, some don't. The oddest comment I have gotten to date on this is "Ms. Liberty is cold, she would never talk this way". Hmmm... Check out this link: http://twitpic.com/bi5nc
Does she look cold to you?

Good luck with the arc, writing an origin arc that anyone who isn’t the player behind the character in question will want to play is very difficult.
Point taken, I will NEVER EVER make an origin arc again. However, this arc is not actually about how great Liberty Rose is. It is in fact about you and how you help Rose achieve her true destiny.

In closing I would like to say that this arc is most definitely not for everyone. It has gotten several 5 star wow I loved this ratings, several 3 star this really didn't grab me ratings and many 4 star ratings.

One reviewer called it "A modern day fairy tale". That about sums it up. If any of you choose to play it, bear in mind this arc doesn't take itself TOO seriously. It was my attempt to create something fun and not my attempt to be Shakespeare of to replicate COH cannon.

    Enjoy (I hope )

I would love it if you would play my arc :
In Pursuit of Liberty - ID 221702.

First, I must warn you that this arc is tied to cannon, but it has my personal and I hope light hearted spin. It is an origin story and is first and foremost just that. However, it has humor, or my attempt at humor sprinkled throughout.

Why am I then posting this arc here? Well, I have been criticized because "Ms. Liberty" would not talk that way ( I am quite sure that reviewer knows her well) and that "those villains would NEVER group together" (perhaps they told him)?
I was specifically told Ms. Liberty is cold. Check out this link: http://twitpic.com/bi5nc
Does she look cold to you?

So I would like a fresh perspective from someone who does not expect that I have cloned their personal views on what existing COH characters would or wouldn't do.

I would love to get your feedback.

Thanks so much. I hope you enjoy.

As an aside, I don't disrespect arcs that stick to existing COH lore. In fact, I was very careful factwise to stay in that framework. I was attempting to create something a bit different and a bit light hearted, but apparently for many that doesn't work.

Hey there! I ran your arc just a little while ago and thought it was pretty good! There were some issues that dragged it down that I mentioned in-game but it was still decent.

Anyway, my newest arc, The Rikti Accession, could use some play-throughs and feedback. I'd definitely like to see what you have to say about it! Its ID is 278757 and the author is @Mekkanos!

I feel compelled to comment on this feedback, because it is counter productive to one of the two reasons I started this thread.

The first reason was to get my arc played, in the hopes that some might enjoy it.

The second reason was, in return give people a way to get their arc played with absolutely NO fear that I would post anything negative about it here. Even if I hated an arc, I would stick to the intent of the thread and post what I like best here.

I am by no means asking you to post glowing praise for my arc here. So far, some have loved it and some have found it good but not awesome. It is obvious from reading this board that people's taste varies greatly.

I wanted to comment on the following: "There were some issues that dragged it down that I mentioned in-game but it was still decent." The main issue mentioned, was that this poster felt that the mix of villains I have together in mission 4, was not believable. In fact, my intent was just that. To create something not believable to show the extreme darkness of the future. As an aside, mission 4 was the favorite part of my arc for many.

Of course any and all feedback is welcome, in fact I encourage it. But please post in game or PM me. This thread is a what I like best thread, so on that note I played:

This arc was full of details and extremely well written.

What I liked best: The well thought out plot and extreme attention to detail.

Reason: I have never played any other arc like it. It created a whole new world, complete with a language and at the same time was so funny. I loved this arc!

Warning: You may fail in the last mission. I cheated by getting help and beat it by 1 second (yes it is timed and i normally don't care for timed, but it this case it fit).

    Tons of fun
  24. I played "Exploding Planet" #200411 by @ Fantastic Foe

This arc was so much fun and way diff from any other I have played. I must confess I got help on the last mission and we finished with like a second left - like movie drama

What I liked best: How different and creative this was and the humor mixed in.

Well, if you'd like to give one of mine a shot, could you give Wretch's 'Trike Force (Arc ID: 249890 ) a go? I think you'd get a kick out of the writing. ^_^

There is about one elite boss enemy per mission, though, so you may want to play on challenge rating 1 if you're not confident in your ability to defeat an elite boss.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This was a challenging arc and had a great mix of villains combined into groups.

What I liked best: Wretch, he was awesome both as a contact and as an ally. I also loved the nice comedic touches mixed in with the action.
