    Hot Feet is a fantastic power but don't get it unless you got a friendly kin around...very hard to sustain because of the massive enduse...especially coupled with /storm so I wouldnt recommend it.

    The build I posted above will work really well. You could swap the Ice epic for the fire epic for some more damage and Fire Shield coupled with Steamy Mist is awesome.
    Look at it this way:

    Fire Epic: Good damage and awesome shield....especially with Steamy Mist.

    Ice Epic: More or less unkillable and fast regen/recovery midfight so don't have to worry about end.

  2. Your build looks really good actually.

    Just a few things.

    Bonfire really isnt very good for the most part unless you manage to trap something in a corner. Skip it and get acrobatics instead.

    Get flashfire asap....probably the best and most important power in fire control...and slot it 2 acc, 2 rech, 2 dis dur.

    Lightning Storm doesnt "really" need accuracies. Test with none or one to see how it is (been ages since I've had...can't really remember).

    Ice storm could use some dmg enhancements.

    Hibernate could use 1 or 2 heals (doesnt really need them though...but nice to have).

    Ice blast isnt very good after the nerf anymore. Take something like Ring of Fire instead since it does about the same damage, has a faster recharge, set up containment and costs less endurance.

    Some other things.

    even if /storms very endheavy you may have overslotted the end reductions.

    Would personally rather have Tornado than o2 boost.

    Aid self is very nice to have....would mean you have to skip 2 other good powers though

    Epic shields are awesome! The defense based shields such as the ice and earth shields are tricky to fully test and appreciate because of the nature of defense....but 50% resistance to s/l damage?!? Not bad imo. And if you do have the shield it's not exactly needed to use hibernate as much as Serefia likes to use it

  4. Your builds pretty good Kitty....haven't had time to reply before now....but Psyline very alternative build really meant I had to post here.
    Do yourself a favour and scrub the inside of your head as I did after reading it

    I'd advice against teleport in PvP as it's too tricky and too enddraining to use efficiently.

    Same goes for fly really as you will be a sitting duck when supression kicks in.

    Health really isn't that useful for squishies because of the low hps and it wont save you in PvP.

    Deceive is a nice power in PvE but it's uses are limited in PvP.

    Lighting Storm is again a very nice power in PvE but since it's stationary, doesn't do fantastic dmg and simply costs too much end to use I'd say skip it.

    I know I have both Sup Invis and Steamy Mist in this build and you could probably lose one of them if you wanted to but the resistances in SM is just too good to pass on imo.

  7. We have for the most part held the raids on Sundays since it's the day with the most people online.

    We found that Fridays and Saturday yields a smaller turnout...but can be more interesting as some people "may" be slightly drunk

    EDIT: I'm not sure I'll be able to make it for this raid...won't know until a few hours before. PA dropping shouldn't be a problem as we have quite a few experienced droppers

    The guide isn't fully updated to i7/i8 standards yet but is still pretty accurate...hey what can I say? we're lazy

    EDIT: If anyone feels like taking on the task and leading this please do. We don't know atm when we're gonna run a new one so feel free to step up....most know the drill now so it shouldnt be that hard

    Most AoE immobs (except crushing field from gravity and tenebrous tentacles from dark) negates knockdown for 10 seconds so yes you shouldnt be using it with earthquake.
    I usually do a stalagmite + stone cages combo and then use earthquake + quicksand combo if stalagmites is down...throw in volcanic gasses when needed.

    Stone prison is more or less your only way to do damage but its really really bad so not that great to slot for.

    Stone prison is handy for AVs as it'll immob an AV in one appliance. Stone prison + volcanic gasses + a few fossilize and you got yourself a held AV.

  14. Looks pretty good. My points about health and stone cages still stands though.
    I would probably move some powers around...especially speed boost should be taken at 20 or 22.

    You should really keep siphon power (and you dont get much else to choose from at that lvl anyway) as it's an awesome dmg debuff on AVs...if you do decide to go with another power it should be Stone Prison, which, again is awesome against AVs....but personally rather get Siphon Power though.

    My 50s build is below which has the Ice epic and has quicksand late but I leveled him with the fire epic and quicksand earlier in the build. Apart from that this is basically how I would level a earth/kin.

  15. Drop the immobs from stone cages....its base duration is fine. Slot it 2 acc, 1 end red

    Siphon Speed should be 2 acc, 3 rech as said in a above post.

    Stalagmites should be slotted 2 acc, 1-2 rech, 2-3 dis dur. It's probably the best power in the set and it's gonna be one of your most used so consider going with another travelpower....try it out and see how you like it.

    Health is basically redundant on a squishy but if you do decide to go Flight then of course its better than hurdle.

    Drop the recharge from speed boost....only affects the recharge of speed boost itself and seeing it recharges in 2 secs its not exactly needed.

    Volcanic Gasses doesn't need accuracies....and the hold durations doesn't really do much difference so 3 recharges is all it really needs. If you have extra slots the put hold durations in it anyway.

    Transference should probably be 2 acc, 1-2 rech, 2-3 end mods according to your needs.

    You can basically pick whatever epic you want as a earth/kin....wouldn't recommend Primal though as the single blast is now utter [censored] and your powersets doesn't benefit that much from Power Boost.

    Fire is my personal favourite but you should really pick up the shield....makes a huge difference.

    Don't take Salt Crystals. It's pants and most of your powers will just disrupt it.

  17. Can still solo...and still with ease...just takes longer.

    /kins and /rads are still fine but almost everything else are pure support now

    As Dawn said there's next to no reason to use trollers in PvP anymore apart from pure support....apart from maybe the aforementioned /rads.

    The nerf was incoming...but still believe this was a very poor way of implementing it and I strongly oppose it.

    My trollers are now (for the most part) back to precontainment damage days and with half the controls and I feel neutered in PvP....not at all happy.

    They sought to nerf fire/kins....instead they've achieved to give them the evil eye and kicked basically every other combo in the nuts....apart from the "trollers are an only support AT" sayers.

    Personally don't like him much other than to take alphastrikes and tanking psi AVs (which he does very well).

    You don't need him other than if you wish to solo once in a while but he's still nice to have for the above reasons.

    Stalkers can stack stealth powers...it's one of their 3 special abilities. ATs are meant to be different

    Everything in this game has counters, especially stalkers. Just go find some of the numerous threads where stalkers says cm should be nerfed

    Would personally strongly advice against use of the temp power.

    I was told you guys suffered quite a bit of lag during the clearing and holdphase and with teh attendance you seem to be getting I would count on quite a bit again....using this temp will add greatly to this....skip it.

    Gauntlet won't ever override the normal taunt from the hamitank so don't worry about that. Tanks unfortunately just dont add much to the holdingphase other than lag

    Another thing I would like to add is: I heard you guys only had about 6 or so AMs running? See if you can get more of this. We normally have between 10 and 20 running during our Defiant raids and we operate with less people than you do and I find it hard to believe that rads are more common on Defiant than on Onion.

    That's your opinion I guess....Controllers are imo the single most interesting AT to play in this game.

    Calling them "weak" is probably the single worst description I've ever heard anyone call controllers. And saying they only have 1 or 2 things to contribute to a team?....hmmm!?

    If you really don't like playing that toon I see no point in doing so but it really is a very good combo.
