Hey folks,
I've checked in with all the powers that be and we have pleaded the community case. This bug is not cosmetic it is a performance related issue and unfortunately we cannot leave it live.
Just wanted to clarify that point.

Awwww...I know I mentioned the bug on other threads but I have to agree that I like it a lot. Any chance we can take a poll to see if the community can live with the performance hit whatever it is assuming it doesn't cause the servers on y'alls side to explode or something else bad and its just a possible slightly lower frame rate from having to process a possible large number of people having double capes? I can see the elegant borelo going VERY well with the wedding pack bridal veil to make some awsome weding outfits and the scarf and short fringed cape look great with it as well. Some kind of compromise on it? -

the capes and coattails dont have collision detection, thats why they move through your legs when you walk backwards. That the two clip if you combine them is unavoidable

I should have been more clear. I didn't think that the capes clipping was a bug and was actually expected. I meant to point out that both capes are available at the same time. Normally only one cape-like costume piece is available at a time (Wedding veil, trenchcoat, cape, borelo, etc) and that it was possible to now have two with the borelo plus another one (cape or wedding veil) was the bug. Given the announcement last night about a bug about two capes, sounds like they are working on it. I just wasn't sure if two capes was now going to be allowed now or what was going on as far as the dev's intentions. -

Hmm, I want to buy the AE box, which comes with the free month AND the code for the Magic pack (or Cyborg, but I already have that). Am I missing where this is available? I'm completely dense and blind at times.
Or is the box not out yet? Online that is...or is it ONLY in stores?

AH NUTS!!! The motes don't work when you're hovering or flying

Thanks for the heads up. A fix is on the way

I've had issues when running at superspeed as well. Haven't tested extensively but I noticed it then for sure. -
Females with the magic booster. Take a cape option and the magic bolero. Cape and 'waist cape' portion of the bolero clip a LOT while flapping.

are you guys sure that they don't stack... I have tons of them as vet rewards but my login says " you have two unbclaimed respecs available, type /respec..."
doesn't this mean they are free? the regulr respecs you have to go to lupin to get them.

Respec Wiki Page
Here's the wiki page on it.
Basically there are different classes of respecs. The earned and veteran rewards stack. The free respecs, like this one, do not. You may only have one available at a time.
If you have an unused free respec when they give you another one, you still only have one waiting for you and you basically lose the new one (or old one depending on how you look at it, not that it really matters).
Earned respecs you must go to the contact in Galaxy or Nerva or Port Oakes to use them. Free respecs can be accessed anywhere using /respec.
EDIT: Corrected spelling and added a bit -
Not sure if someone mentioned it but noticed the other day that the information about prestige and the amount of influence/prestige is out of date as well. It says after a certain level you no longer earn influence in SG mode which isn't true anymore.

To everyone complaining about the Mac users getting more stuff that PC users can't get, the way its sounding, according to the red-name posts above, is that the $20 is for the mac client and probably a month's subscription and a game code that activates the Valkyrie and Mission TP stuff. They also said they will provide the costumes and powers in something that sounds like a booster pack, or the Good VS Evil code so PC users will get the powers too if you want to pay the extra money for them. Sounds like the same concept as the Collectors Edition DVDs and the Good VS. Evil version serial codes. PC users, my guess, should be able to buy either the future 'booster pack' or the mac client version, get the code, upgrade the account, and get the goodies. You shouldn't have to spend $1000+ on a new computer to get the new powers and costumes unless you really want to play on a mac for other reasons.
Although this is purely speculation on my part. I in no way know this for sure, but sounds like a pretty good guess from what the red-names have said so far.
On a side note, I'm SOOOO glad I just bought my first mac last weekend (happy birthday to me) to learn the Mac OS and iPhone development. Can't wait to beta test!
