Whether the OP wants to face it or not (or continue to stick his head in the sand like a certain bird) a majority of players couldn't care less about pvp. I'd bet money that those that do actually play games were competitive gameplay actually works well.

I bet money (again) that if the devs ran an informal poll and asked which players cared about the devs focusing on for I20, pvp would be one of the things to come in dead last, if not last. Especially since ENDGAME is the one thing that has been clamored for, for oh I don't know the past 3 years. I HIGHLY doubt most of the playerbase would be pleased if the devs turned around and said "hey guess what, we're going to improve pvp as endgame".

    Just saying.
I don't think the Devs want to alienate any group of players. Since PVP exist as part of the game, they will want to make it as good as possible. By saying that they aren't concerned about it because they haven addressed it yet just falls into the fallacy as the OP.
  2. I would say the underwater area in the zone would simply be a medium to travel through between mission locations. The open zone could be populated with Coralax and various other sea creatures, but players could purchase cheap temp powers that would allow them to battle them on even terms.
  3. The point is that they are doing a reboot to fix everything that failed in the first three movies. And lets not gloss over the glaring short-comings of the first two movies or do we not remember Haley Berry's depiction of Storm?

And this is the real issue. She isn't walking around in a thong and garters the entire movie. I recommend surfing porn.

I hope this tanks all to hell (sorry, Bryan, I still love your work in spite of the fact that you tried to ape Donner in Superman Returns rather than making your own movie). That way, Fox will agree to sell the rights back to Marvel so that Marvel can make X-Men movies and connect them to the rest of the Marvel Universe.
The problem with that logic is that Marvel gets a franchise that has been poisoned to the point where they can do nothing with it but sit on it until it gts forgotten.

And lets remember, this is the WWII costume. We still have the modern costume to look forward to.

    NPC Super Teams

When on a team, I would like to have the option of fighting a team of costumed NPCs. I would love to see EP or even AV level super teams that can match the teams power. It would be cool if they could be put together based on the reams dynamic, but I imagine that is beyond the games ability, so randomly generated teams would do as well. Not very good at expressing the detail of an idea, but what does everyone think?

    Yeah pretty Gross
  11. /Signed. I had also suggested some travel power-activated auras as well.
  12. Wouldn't cross-server teaming be tantamount to a server merge?
  13. In Marvel, Eternity is't even at the top of the food chain. He isn't even 3rd IIRC.

But it wasn't powerful enough to just do it (yes, because it was weakened and trying to heal itself, but still).

Besides the established Abrahamic God in DCU (as noted, Spectre and Zauriel, among others, more or less confirm that), the DCU is anthropomorphic. Remember the "hand" at the beginning of creation that Krona saw when he looked back, creating the universe? In the JLA/Avengers crossover (actually considered canon I believe, as events within are directly referenced several times later), it is shown that both DC and Marvel's universes are "beings" of some kind who fall in love with each other and begin to "merge", if you catch my drift. So that's something to consider, too.

P.S., Superman didn't create the universe in Final Crisis. He wished for "a happy ending" and wiped out Darksied's badness.
I don't thing DC/Marvel crossovers are ever considered canon.

I think it's a good idea, but perhaps make it less creature-specific and turn it into some kind of Infection or Disease Control/Domination? Maybe Plague Domination?

Not that it would be limited to Dominators, of course, just that I think the concept of disease is more generic than insects.

Subsequently, some kind of Giant Insect Mastermind Pet could be fun.

I guess since have the Fly Trap now, I guess we can have non-human skeletons for pets.
  16. AS I said in the other post on the subject, I would be happy is the Walls reflected what was actually on the other side of them. If two zones are joined, show it, if there are suburbs on the other side, show that too.

I do remember, but there area that would be perfect for the new zoning such as the Peregrine-Talos-Founders bridge. This is all water and would be great for open zoning, heck even add in Siren's Call as long as there's a PVP alert.
  18. I would be happy with a proper representation of whats actually on the other side of the force-field.
  19. I want to replace ninjas with either pirates or indians.
  20. I have always said we need some form of purposed PvP. You shouldn't be flagged for PvP for going in Warburg, but if you decide to go for the missiles, then all bets are off. This would allow badgers to move through the zone without being hassled.
  21. The Devs had to know that this issue would come up with GR. I expect an official answer soon. I would like to see the Vista tech used, but with actual distances seen, but with zone crossing the gap. I don't mind seeing the suburbs, even if I simply jump over them.
  22. I would accept stalkers being single-target killing machines, with the ability to move in and out of hide at a moments notice, as long as they are even squishier than blasters, but I digress.
  23. One the one side, it's a shame PvP has so many obstacles for success, since heroes and villains fighting each other is such an integral part of superhero comics. On the other hand, Daredevil simply cannot defeat Superman and that is just a fact.
  24. I still think many here aren't opposed to PvP, they're, like me, apposed to OUR pvp.
