I'm thrilled to see new faces at this event and hope you guys are having fun! I'm very pleased with the fact that we've been able to assemble 2-3 teams on a weekly basis since the end of April and completed many arcs written by Champion players.
Once again, I encourage people to leave feedback. It is important that if your team runs into some difficulties or is unable to complete the arc to let the author know, since most testing is done solo by the author and it is difficult to know exactly how the arc scales to a full team.
Also, a huge thanks to those who offer to help run teams! It is hard to predict how many will attend the event, so some shuffling is always necessary due to SKs, etc. It helps to be flexible so we can accommodate as many people as possible.
Here are the next 3 arcs on the list:
Senior Airman #52718
Amygdala #61883
MindRipper #305214
See you next Monday! -
Hey folks. Just wanted to let everyone know I work until 7pm today, so I'll probably be there closer to the actual start time (7:30pm) instead of earlier on like usual.

Wrong Number #259920
Witty Librarian #13088
Senior Airman #52718

Fabulous post Silas.
I know you'll never forgive me completely for being a Defender addict and not a Corruptor fiend, but I definitely share your passion for the support sets in the sense that they add a lot of dimension to a team.
Cold is indeed a great set with tons of variety in terms of what you're capable of. I look forward to your review of the other sets, in particular, Kinetics. I might have one of those lying around.
In short, rock on. -
Best of luck with your studies! I know how time consuming it can be at times.
I'll try to take over bribery via apple strudel in your absence. -
Quote:This reminds me of a day once upon a time where I found myself on a team with 7 Stormies. Just as I am debating what to fill the last spot with, we all see a Tank on Broadcast LFT.Very seldom will you find a team with 7 other people who are all willing to let you herd without immobilizing them in the middle or hurricaning them before they get there, lol.
...I'm sure you can guess the rest of this story. -
Thanks everyone who came out to our 3 year anniversary party! Everyone looked great. Hope you all enjoyed the raid and your prizes.
I'll try to post my screenies in a bit. -
Just a reminder this is tonight! Remember your costumes.

Congrats on the successful raid! Hope I can make it to the next one.
-
I'll definitely miss seeing you around. Thanks for your support at the raids and for being a great neighbour in my coalition.
Best of luck and don't leave your student card too far behind. -
Everybody get your towels ready, its about to go down! On Tuesday August 18th at 9pm EST, Renaissance de la Veritas will be celebrating its 3 year anniversary as an SG Hami-kini style!
We will be hosting a Hami raid and giving away lots of prizes before, during and after the raid. Here are some examples:
Costume Contest (Because it cant be a party without one!)
Beach Hunk: Do you think you can rock the banana hammock like nobodys business? Does this sometimes contribute to a shortage of companions? Maybe youre more of a board shorts kinda guy. Whatever your preference, common down and strut your stuff!
Babe Watch: Ladies, its time to bust out that killer bikini or scandalous one piece.
After each wave, we will also be holding random lotteries by picking a number from 1-50. Whoever comes up on the search list at that number will win a prize, including recipes, crafted enhancements or straight influence! (Note: This works best when everyone is off hide.)
We will also be giving away influence for the kill shot on Hami! Prize values TBA at the raid.
So please get out your swim trunks and flippy floppies and join us! -
I'm going to throw my own arc into the mix since I'm thinking of taking a look at it again. I would greatly appreciate feedback.
Name: Smooth As Silk
Arc #61883
Length: 4 missions
Description: A new rave drug has hit the scene, casting a wave of addiction over Paragon's youth. A local doctor begs for your assistance. -
Just a reminder that we'll be forming up for MA Monday at 7:30pm in RWZ.
We'll be starting with arc 240294 by Ninja Comic, followed by 257854 by Extraplanar and 231933 by Ltn Frost. -
Great job leading the raid. It was a lot of fun.

Congrats on your new show Nibs! I'll try to listen if I'm ever up that late.

Happy Birthday Kat! All the best.

Sounds great!
I will try my best to make it. -
Seeing as it's DXP weekend, we thought it would be a good idea to cancel the raid next Sunday.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend and levels up!
